KARMA – CAUSE AND EFFECT

Daily Astrology

Karma is believed to be the consequence of thought and behavior.  For every event that occurs, there will be another event that was caused by the first, and this second event will be either pleasant or unpleasant.  The law of Karma shows us that responsibility for these actions comes from the actions of the one who commits them.  In most instances, we are responsible for our own happiness and misery.

Central to Buddhism and other philosophies is the science of cause and effect.  In Buddhism, cause and effect is known as Karma. It is important to understand cause and effect because it explains so much about our experiences, and it gives us tools to improve our Karma. The philosophy of karma, both physical and mental, states that every action has an opposite and equal reaction, but intention is the most important factor. Harmful energy and intentions, rather than being beneficial, cause harm. and it is interesting to recognize the similarities of physics and karma — as the same rules apply.

Karma cannot be avoided. For most people, Karmic energy is returned with the same intensity with which it was generated. Depending on your previous actions, this could create happiness or suffering. Whatever happens, is the result of Karma being released, which, no matter how you view the situation, is a good thing and an opportunity for future growth. Vedanta say, “Nothing happens to you, it happens for you!”

Consistency cannot be achieved overnight, but as you practice kindness, compassion, love of self and responsibility for your words and actions you begin attracting and sending good karma until it becomes a part of your daily life experience. At least that’s the hope.  Over the next few weeks, accumulate some good karma and make the world a little better along the way.

We choose to create our own heaven and our own hell and are the architects of our own fate.  What we reap today is what we have sown either in the present or in the past.  Karma is the law of cause and effect.

We at www.secretserendipity.com believe good Karma is necessary for a positive state of mind.
