When you know who you truly are, there is an abiding alive sense of peace. You could call it “joy” because that’s what joy is: vibrantly alive peace. It is the joy of knowing yourself as the very life essence before life takes on form. That is the joy of Being – of being who you truly are. ~ Eckhart Tolle (Stillness Speaks) ~
If you have had times of stillness in your life, and have taken quiet times to actually think about who you truly are, you probably have a pretty good idea. You don’t need to find out who you are, you already know you are you, and every characteristic, personality trait or title is just a description so others can describe you as best as they can. You can be different from the rest of the world and still be fabulous — in fact, you’re fabulous because of it, not despite it. Different means good. So if you are different, are good.
