As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves. ~ Mohandas K. Gandhi ~
If your life isn’t going the way you had hoped, then imagine yourself walking away from the past and into the future where change can be made. First, be grateful for the things you do have. Gratitude is inspirational. Gratitude is the bridge between your world and the parallel universe where all creative ideas live.
Then take a moment to imagine the vision for the life you want and create it! Take a walk. Write down the ideas that came to you while you let your mind wander. Whatever helps keep you inspired and moving ahead, keep doing it. Whatever has been holding you back in your life, stop. It’s time to move forward!
The past is history and the future is a mystery. Don’t let your past mistakes define who you are. You have everything you need in you right now to change your life for good, if you want to remake yourself. A good start is to get out more and meet several new friends.
The really successful people have often tried and failed a lot more than the average person. An optimistic person will notice the opportunities in their life, things to be grateful for, where the pessimist will stay stuck in inaction. If something about people irritates you, it is probably because that quality is something you, yourself have a problem with. Life is really simple, but we keep trying to make it complicated. One of the best ways to remake who we are is to stop caring so much about what other people think of us, and just make those changes. We only need our own approval.
Most things that we worry will happen, never happens. Worrying is most often just a waste of time. Be nice, and be positive. Keep your eye on your big picture. Take the action you need to do to get yourself where you want to go. You might as well do what you want, and create, or do a remake, of who you want to be going forward, because there will always be critics. Always follow your heart, and you can’t go wrong.
