We don’t accomplish anything in this world alone, and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one’s life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something. ~ Sandra Day O’Connor ~
We need family, the love of friends and the respect of colleagues. We need hugs as well. We begin to need them as young children. It’s hard to hug oneself and be fulfilled in the same way. Looking deeper, we realize that the idea that we need each other is much more than self-gratification, a feeling or some romantic notion. On one level we need each other to simply live from day to day.
Consider the extraordinary numbers of people who have engaged directly or indirectly with your life to provide the food you eat today; the clothes you wear; the gasoline you put in your tank. We do not live in a vacuum.
Let’s appreciate each other and take this life’s journey together at www.secretserendipity.com.
