Some people think that meditation takes time away from physical accomplishment. Taken to extremes, of course, that’s true. Most people, however, find that meditation creates more time than it takes. ~ Peter McWilliams ~
How we think about time, affects how we use it. Whatever we do as part of a daily cycle takes on new significance. Regularly performed activities become a part of who we are. When practicing meditation, even just a few minutes is better than none.
As people stick with their meditation ritual, they notice that they are able to accomplish more while doing less, as meditation clears the mind and energizes the soul.
Meditation is far more than a coping tool for modern life and its stresses. It also has the capacity to get us beyond the point of merely coping, to the point where we are really flourishing in life as we get in touch over time with our true potential.
In meditation, we are in a state of restful alertness that is extremely refreshing for the body and mind.
