There are no little events in life, those we think of no consequence may be full of fate, and it is at our own risk if we neglect the acquaintances and opportunities that seem to be casually offered, and of small importance. ~ Amelia E. Barr ~
Small opportunities in life are the ones that we don’t immediately see. They come by at the most unexpected, mostly inopportune, times. We are so busy with other distractions or our own opinions that we normally miss the majority of opportunity that falls across our path. Some of the best opportunities you’ll ever get are ones you’ll find when you’re looking for something else.
Life is going to give you many opportunities. You should take the choice that feels right in the moment. We all want to be happy with our relationships, and with what we are doing. We should try to aim to grab some of the interesting opportunities that are thrown before us. Opportunities should be taken if they feel right, not chosen based on conventional standards, nor on opinions from people who are not living your life. Make each day count.
To get something you never had, you have to do something you’ve never done. Look for opportunities in a tough situation. Avoid a victim mentality and opt instead for a ready for a new beginning attitude. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Positive energy creates positive results. Make an effort to connect with people you pass. Smile and make eye contact for a little longer than usual. Being even slightly more open can open up your world.
