Do less running around, and pay more attention to stillness. Do less talking and pay more attention to the silence. Do less arguing, and pay more attention to forgiveness. Do less complaining, and pay more attention to giving.
Do less thinking, and pay more attention to your heart. Do less acquiring, and pay more attention to what you already have. Do less criticizing, and pay more attention to complementing.
When we have less, we become more grateful for what we have. When we have a clear mind, our thoughts become unclouded and there is nothing blocking realization from occurring. Simplicity is preferable to complexity. When we think creatively, we find more effective ways of doing things. It’s a way to get more accomplished in a less amount of time.
When the mind is quiet, when there are no thoughts and no words to be said, we can hear our own heart talking to us. We need to talk less and say more. We need to realize that things do not make for a happy person. The important things in life are the people around us, the nature and the environment in which we live. We may be happier if we start living with less and integrating ourselves back into harmony with people and our environment.
