Kind words are the music of the soul. ~ F. W. Faber ~
Kind words in a conversation with others will show that you care, regardless of the message you are trying to give. Being kind doesn’t mean that you can’t make your point. Being kind doesn’t mean that you can’t be direct. By being kind, you will change how someone feels about themselves, you or a situation. While your words may not be remembered years later, choose them carefully for they will be a reflection on you. People tend to want to fill up empty space in a conversation with unnecessary words. Let there be silence. Sometimes, it is in that quietness that the really good conversation starts to happen. Always speak with integrity, tell the truth, be compassionate, and always be kind. Don’t say everything. Some things really are better left unsaid.
Don’t always try to be right. Many times there is an option or opinion that really is better than yours. Be open to a new idea, it could create for you a new and exciting opportunity. Make an effort to speak softly and with kindness. You won’t regret it. Follow us at www.secretserendipity.com as we take our journey to wellness.
