Before you agree to do anything that might add even the smallest amount of stress to your life, ask yourself: What is my truest intention? Give yourself time to let a yes resound within you. When it’s right, I guarantee that your entire body will feel it. ~ Oprah Winfrey
Each time you make the right decision, you gain the necessary self-confidence to keep making good decisions. Every day of our life, we make decisions. Everything we say and do is the result of a decision. Decisions should be made when we have enough information to make an informed decision. Making decisions, especially if they’re about important topics, should rely on logic.
Treat all past experiences as learning experiences. By making important decisions, we will always learn to face the consequences and use even setbacks as learning experiences from which we can grow and adapt.
Sometimes your friends may know better than you, and sometimes people are simply trying to force you into their beliefs with little to no regard about how it impacts you. Aim to evenly balance what you want and what others want and with the knowledge from both sides, so that you can make a sensible decision.
As with any decision you make, be prepared to accept responsibility for the outcome. If things don’t work out, it’s always better to have made a conscious decision than to have been careless. At least you can say that you did the best you could. Make your decision and be ready to stand by it.
