He who stands by his point of view, must be ready to suffer hunger. ~~ Yiddish Proverb ~
Being able to see things from the eyes of another person allows you to understand what they are going through, what they are thinking and why they are saying the things they are saying and doing the things they are doing.
If you have ever had someone else disagree or offer an alternative idea to one of your own, try to understand their point of view and why you would select your own above another persons. Whenever possible, examine alternative points of view to your own. One person might be right and one might be wrong.
Sometimes both can have different but valid points of view and sometimes theories are right in some conditions and wrong in others. It can be a great chance to broaden your knowledge when you are willing to look at the whole picture. Sometimes compromise is in the best interest of everyone involved. Just as there are two sides to every story, there are always more than one point of view to an idea or belief. Make a habit of being flexible for none of us have all the answers.
