Mysticism is not a thing we learn from clever textbooks. It is life! It must be clearly understood that mysticism is distinct from religion, yet it is deeply religious. Today the mystic is no longer a voice crying in the wilderness, even though mysticism is still far from having a multitude of voices.

In understanding certain laws and dynamics of being, there is a way of bringing greater health, prosperity and love, and everything your heart desires into your life.  It is a more exciting way of being.

You cannot observe nature without realizing that there is within and behind the outer an inner, a center of mystic life. In her more beautiful aspects she has attained to something which humanity lacks. And yet when the human touch is given there is a response: the flower that is nurtured by man’s hand becomes a more beautiful flower, because there is a spiritual unity in the efforts of man and nature, working together. One whose heart is touched with the love of these things is growing spiritually and someday will find the great, the profounder, meaning of life.

Mystical power neither originates from nor acts upon the material realm.  It is the sustaining energy of the world beyond – beyond body, argument, reasons or personality.  Mystical power in relationships comes not from improving our “people skills,” but from developing our “soul skills.”  In order to connect with someone, friend or enemy, the mystical key is to move beyond the level of argument to the silent rhythms that only the spirit perceives.  Speak to someone in the silence of meditation.  Speak there, in the holiness of the inner shrine from your most naked, loving truth.  Hear there how his soul responds.  It will.  We are not bound by the physical level, unless we choose to be.”   ~ Marianne Williamson  ~

“The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God’s eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.” ― Meister Eckhart, Sermons of Meister Eckhart
