Our goal should be to be happy and to love. It’s also important to do your best, in any circumstance. Over time, your best can change from one day to the next. It will become better than it was the day before. Your best will be different when you are healthy as opposed to when you are sick. It changes when you are happy, sad, lonely, etc. Whatever mood you are in, always strive for your best. If you haven’t done your best in the past, do not dwell on the past events, keep your focus on what you can do in the present.

When you give your best, you become a higher version of yourself. Your efforts will be a reflection of who you are. Don’t look to build your self-esteem from praise of others. This is for you, and how wonderful you will feel when you see your accomplishments. Spend time with people who are positive about life and encourage you to live yours to the fullest. Their energy is contagious. Give up complaining and spend more time on doing. Knowing that you did your best is one of the best feelings you could have.

Live your life on your own terms, in your own way, and always with integrity. Know when you are doing your best and when you are slacking. Don’t compare yourself to others, fully embrace and accept who you are. Be joyful and look for the humor in life. Strive to do your best, not to be the best. You will feel greater contentment and joy when you do.
