Happiness is the place between too little and too much.  You can be happy without needing others to agree with you.  No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.  Happiness is a choice, not a response.  People will doubt what you say but they will always believe what you do.

Nobody is happy all the time. But you can be happy some of the time. Occupy your mind with positive thoughts. Try to smile often. Say thank you a lot. Look for the positive in all your experiences. Focus on people, positive relationships, not on things. Interact with people who share your interests.

If you feel down in the dumps, act cheery. If you are angry at someone, do something thoughtful for them and watch your feelings towards them soften. Fake it till you feel it. Be content with who you are because nobody is perfect. Happiness stems from feeling good about the things around you and how they affect you.

Know that happiness is the journey, not the destination,  People with goals succeed because they know where they are going.  Look at life through the windshield, not the rear view mirror.  If you want to be happy, do the best you can, where you are, with what you have and be prepared for positive results.
