When you know who you are, and own your habits, behavior and personality, you can then see what you can do to improve yourself and your life, and rejoice in the good qualities you already have.
The first step to improvement is to stop comparing who you are and your achievements to others, and acknowledging the good skills you have, and understanding those you do not have. This will bring some inner peace, lightness and happiness, like getting rid of a burden. This is the first step to self acceptance. We are all different, and we should accept and embrace these differences. Do we really want someone as a friend who is exactly like us?
