You are important!  If you have the responsibility of others, make sure you are keeping yourself healthy and happyLove yourself.  Take time out to do something that you enjoy.  Go out somewhere, perhaps with someone, or alone.  Or stay at home.  Take some quiet time at home with a good book and a nice meal.  You need to be ok and thriving to be there for others, whether they be friends or family.

Being there for others will consciously or unconsciously feel like a huge burden if you aren’t taking care of yourself as well and will lead to resentment.  This isn’t good for anyone.  Stress is unavoidable, don’t let it bring you down.  Learning to manage stress can go a long way in sustaining your mental and physical health.

Take time to relax and appreciate the beauty that is around you.  Make sure you are nurturing yourself first, to become healthy in mind, body and spirit, and that will make it easier to do for those you care about.  This is not selfish if done responsibly.  You cannot be there for others if you aren’t on the right track yourself.  Follow us at as we take our journey to wellness.
