Angels help free us from the webs of negativity and anxiety. Angels impart a calmness that assures us of God’s endurance. They have wings to carry our prayers to God, for when prayers go up — blessings come down.
The spirit of anxiety is a bondage spirit and carries all your worries and works hand in hand with the spirit of stress and nervousness. When the little things get too much and anxiety seems to seep into every aspect of your life, it’s time to quit trying to figure everything out by yourself and ask for some guidance from your angels. Take a minute to focus on the issues you are most concerned about. Tell your angels what those issues are and that you’d very much like to have their help. Once your heart is open to the angels, your anxiety should be lifted. There are many angels that you can cal on to help you. All you have to do is speak to them from your heart or speak to them out loud and trust that they will hear your call.
Angels welcome diversity and so are champions of our individuality. When anxiety looms, stop and take a deep breath. While you rest, angels will step in and restore serenity. Angels see us for what we are and they love what they see.
Angels know that if you smile, it is infectious.

My mind and body are in complete alignment with the Universe and I am always in the flow. ~~ We are where we are today because of the choices we have made in the past. A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world and everyone you meet is your mirror. What we see depends on what we are looking for. The choices we make today we have to live tomorrow. So choose wisely.

There are many New Age belief systems that state that crystals can be used to heal mental, physical and spiritual problems. Like other religious beliefs, the power of crystals has not been proven by science, but it does seem meaningful to those of us who practice it. Whether crystals have innate power or not, a healing crystal necklace, earring or other piece of jewelry can be a powerful tool for focusing your mind on healing a problem in your life.
Clear quartz crystals can be found on almost every continent of the world. Clear quartz occurs in a number of different formations, in various hexagonal structures and these formations have been given specific names so they can be recognized. In the metaphysical world, Clear Quartz crystals are the supreme gift of Mother Earth. Even the smallest is thought to be imbued with the properties of a master healer teacher. Ancients believed these stones to be alive, taking a breath once every hundred years or so, and many cultures thought them to be incarnations of the Divine. They resonate strongly within the eighth chakra, commonly known as the soul star chakra, and within the higher transpersonal chakras.
We believe that quartz crystals are the manifestation of the Creator’s finest hour of expression. The are windows of light with many facets which show the myriad dimensions of life created from cosmic dust in an ever expanding universe. Divine plan as foreordained that all expanding life revolve around one common denominator, quartz crystal. Through frozen solidified light all creation could be monitored and assisted through the evolutionary process.
Quartz crystals and other stones are used for different needs and healing so look for the one that makes sense to you. Rose Quartz is known for balance and emotional well being. It is also known as the Love Crystal. Select the type of crystal or stone that represents the healing you need. Purchase or create the type of jewelry you prefer, or just carry the crystal with you.

No one can live your life for you, you are in charge. People who take complete responsibility for their lives experience joy and control of circumstances. They understand that they are responsible for their choices. Even when events that are not under your control go in an unpleasant direction, you can determine how you will react to the event. You can make it a disaster or you can use it as an opportunity to learn, to grow, to hold loved ones close.
The most important aspect of taking responsibility for your life is to acknowledge that your life is your responsibility. No one can live your life for you. No matter how hard you try to blame others for the events of your life, each event is the result of choices you make and are making now. Observe yourself talking with coworkers, family members and friends. Do you hear yourself taking responsibility or placing blame? Learn from past mistakes and go forward with a song in your heart, and integrity in your words. Remember that we are not judged by what happens to us, we are judged by how we handle it.

To look at it scientifically – Beer is made from hops, barley and wheat, so the beverage contains many of the same nutrients that grains do, including B vitamins, riboflavin, niacin and zinc. A bottle of beer can contain potassium, calcium and phosphorus, all minerals that are essential to a healthy diet.
Beer is also a source of soluble fiber, which comes from the barley. According to The Brewers of Europe, an organization that represents European breweries, two glasses of beer can provide 10 percent of your recommended daily fiber intake.
Beer contains antioxidants as well. A study published in the Journal of Nutrition and Biochemistry suggests that the levels of antioxidants found in blood are elevated after beer is consumed.
Today beer is still used widely in many cultures as a mainstream medical source. For instance, in Germany, Wheat beer, or HefeWeizen, is used for many skin and digestive disorders because of its rich source of tannins and other nutrients.
Home brewed beer has no artificial colors or flavors, and no preservatives. Home brewed beer promotes blood vessel dilation, sleep, and eases urination in elderly people. Beer increases vitamin B6 absorption into the blood plasma by 30% – no other beverage can do this. Home brewed beer is tastier and cheaper than any commercial beer and is also healthy for you.
We at www.secretserendipity.com believe that home-brewing beer is good for one’s health.
While there is a lot to learn, discover and explore in the tradition of yoga, it is best to start simply and not let yourself be overwhelmed. The most important thing to do in yoga is to breathe. Breathe in and out through the nose into the belly.
The most basic yoga to get you started is Raja Yoga. Raja Yoga brings oneness through meditations. It is the way to attain the state of yoga or unity with mind-body-spirit. Start by sitting in a comfortable position, with arms extended and hands in an open position. Focus your attention on the present moment.
As you slow down your thoughts, sit in peaceful meditation with your list of positive affirmations. This will help you become more productive in life. It creates happy thoughts, and will give you peace of mind when done correctly. It will take just a few days to be comfortable with Raja Yoga and it can benefit you for a lifetime.
Our favorite Positive Affirmations to use during yoga meditation:
I live in the present moment with one eye on the future.
I am free to express what I am feeling in a positive way.
I am immersed in abundance.
I trust my intuition.
I honor my commitments.
I practice integrity in my actions.
I must do the right thing.
I am lovable.
I am safe.
I live in harmony with others.
I am the only one responsible for making me happy.
I dance as if no one is watching.
Dhyana is an easily practicable tool to know your inner world in a very practical sense. Dhyana is yoga meditation designed to give us the opportunity to be self-aware, which works well in stressful situations. With the help of Dhyana, you can learn to control your thoughts, and respond to situations in your life by using intelligence and thoughtful methods. It is the meditative state in yoga. Dhyana can be enhance by a lit candle (we prefer the purity of the beeswax candle) and incense, if you prefer. Start Dhyana by staring into the lit flame and then progress to your personal meditation. It helps us cope with negative emotions in a positive way.
There are several ways to increase the intensity of your yoga routine when graduating to more physical yoga exercises. Hold postures for longer and longer periods of time. This will slowly build your routine up to be more advanced and always end your yoga practice with a relaxing pose, resting on your back and consciously relaxing your body for 5-15 minutes. For the best results, take a beginning yoga class that deals with the more physical regimen. This will teach you the basics for you to graduate to your personal home routine.
It is also recommended to practice a short seated variation of your meditation to integrate your yoga practice and transition back into the world. It is common for the first couple of times practicing yoga to feel awkward and strange; this will pass with time and practice. This will all contribute to a more stress-free, peaceful existence.

A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes. ~ Mohandas K. Gandhi ~
What we focus on, becomes our reality. It is important to understand that you mind is a very powerful thing, and most of us take it for granted. We think we aren’t in control. but we actually have command of our thoughts, and we become them. Focus on what you believe will make you happy and your life will change in a glorious way.
Your thoughts do not own you. Stop your negative thoughts in their tracks by realizing that you’re in charge of what you think, not the other way around. Take time to figure out what you really want. When you feel yourself feeling negative about things that you haven’t accomplished, take time to think if you really want those things.
Finding out what is really important to you can help eliminate bad feelings over things that you don’t truly want.
Angels appear to transcend all cultures, races, and systems. They are a part of human history and civilization, sometimes at the forefront, other times in the shadows, but they are always there. They don’t belong to any one particular religion, although many modern people try to associate them with Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. No one religion holds total responsibility for the belief in angels. In truth, these religions only support the existence of angels, they didn’t create them.~ Silver Ravenwolf (Angels)
Angels are God’s helpers who facilitate information to raise our awareness to higher levels of infinite intelligence. Angels are beings of light and love who serve as Divine messengers, and who offer guidance, protection, healing, and comfort according to Divine will.
Angel energy can be picked up and projected with clear quartz crystals. You’ll see a whitish figure reflected in the quarts, almost like a hologram. Keeping a quartz crystal by the bedside or on a dresser can be a great tool for checking when you sense an angel’s presence. Angels are everywhere, all we need to do is believe.
Keep your thoughts positive, because your thoughts become your words.
Keep your words positive, because your words become your behaviors.
Keep your behaviors positive, because your behaviors become your habits.
Keep your habits positive, because your habits become your values.
Keep your values positive, because your values become your destiny.
~ Gandhi
Keeping it positive every day is a daunting task. Smile. Give hugs when appropriate. Play uplifting music when hanging out with a friend or suggest an inspiring movie for your movie night. Or encourage when someone has had a bad day or are going through a tough time. When you spend your time in the present moment then it becomes so much easier to access positive emotions and to stay practical about what you can actually do about something in your life. When you get lost in the past or future like so many of us have spent a lot of time on doing, then worries very easily become bigger. Don’t let that happen.
Smile, stay positive, think happy thoughts, and follow us at www.secretserendipity.com for more innovative ways on “Keeping it Positive.”
Father/Mother/God,
I move into this day with a smile on my lips and a song of praise in my heart.
I pause to remember that You are the core of me, the source of who I am.
I am reminded to let that which is within me shine forth.
A sweet smile, a kind word, a friendly glance or a loving hug; these are my gifts.
I may not remember tomorrow the seed of love I plant today, but someone else will come along to water and tend the seed until it flowers.
There is fertile ground all around me; the clerks at the gas station and grocery store, my coworkers and neighbors, passing motorists on the highway, the server where I will eat lunch, and the stranger on the street.
My intention is to be a roving ambassador for love.
Talking about love is not enough, but may my life truly reflect Your light to all.
Amen. ~
One shining star to make the world bright. One infant child on that wonderful night. One little prayer for those we hold dear. To bless you at Christmas and all through the year.
It’s Christmas Eve in Bethlehem, but the Little Christmas Angel is too small to make it to the stable to greet Baby Jesus. She must figure out what to do instead to spread the good news. She only travels at night, while everyone is asleep, and you never know where you’ll find her the next morning! She keeps the whole family happy and involved in all the days leading up to Christmas. She is one special Angel.
Angels are especially popular during the Christmas season. Since Angels announced the birth of Jesus Christ in ancient Bethlehem on the very first Christmas, God’s angelic messengers have played important roles in Christmas holiday celebrations worldwide.
You are special, you are unique, may your Christmas be also as special and unique as you are. Follow us all year round at www.secretserendipity.com.
Oh, never mind the fashion. When one has a style of one’s own, it is always twenty times better. ~~ Margaret Oliphant ~
Try not to care what other think. Love yourself first so that others will love you, too. If you try to be like everyone else, it will not make you happy, and if you are not happy, no one will ever see you for the wonderful person that you really are. Dress in a way that makes you happy. Wear what you like and what makes you feel good. If you are happy in no-name jeans and a tank top, wear it. If you like to dress up, do it. Develop your own personal style, and don’t worry what others think of it.
Real friends will love you for who you are, not try to turn you into someone else. Don’t hide yourself. If you love you, with all your unique attributes, you will become attractive in the eyes of others. The largest part of attractiveness is attitude. If you carry yourself with pride and love yourself, you will attract good people into your life.
Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. One man gets only a week’s value out of a year, while another man gets a full year’s value out of a week. ~ Charles Richards ~
If we choose to enjoy life, this is the time to do it. Not tomorrow, not next year! Today should always be our most wonderful day. It is better to die two years early than to live one year too long. Maturity comes from wisdom, not from the passing of years. Live life to it’s fullest potential. Be kind and smile a lot, it makes everything so much better.
We have so many unconscious thoughts that we have had over the years that we don’t realize, and don’t understand that these thoughts are what makes us who we are. Being more aware of the quality of your thoughts, letting go of the old beliefs, and become more aware of the present, could help reveal our true nature. Your authentic self is the real you, it is beyond all of those conditioned beliefs and thinking patterns that we have accumulated throughout our life.
Now is our time to present the best we can be to other people, so that means reflecting on who we are and who we want to be, and then working to improve that. Before we decide to be our best self, we should spend some time thinking about who that is, and decide whether we are living up to our best idea of who we should be, and work on it if we are not that person, yet. When we let go of the old ways of thinking, and when we start doing what we love, we begin to experience happiness and peace. This is when we are connected with our true nature.

“Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.” ~ Stephen King, Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption: A Story from Different Seasons ~
The amount of happiness that you have depends on the amount of freedom you have in your heart. ~ Thich Nhat Hanh ~
History does not teach fatalism. There are moments when the will of a handful of free men breaks through determinism and opens up new roads. ~Charles de Gaulle
Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed — else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die. ~Dwight D. Eisenhower ~
“The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.” ~ Jim Morrison ~
Metaphysical by definition is referring to the ideas outside of our normal senses, while trying to explain a reality that exists beyond us. Essential Oils, which are distilled from botanicals, are one way that people use to reach past the material world and let the properties of a specific oil they are using, affect them. Essential oils are all natural. These oils can be used in soaps, candles, lotions, body oils and oils that are used with an infuser that puts them into the air. Aromatherapy through essentials oils is often used to help in alleviating stress and promoting relaxation. Always educate yourself about an oil before it’s used by you, for safety reasons, and for the scent that is right for you. You may do research on your own or consult a professional.
Healing the body and mind is one of the major metaphysical reasons for using essential oils. Some of the more popular ones are lavender, bergamet, peppermint, patchouli, cinnamon leaf, rosemary and eucalyptus. We have researched the different fragrances and their health benefits write about a number of these fragrances and Aromatherapy uses on this site.
We believe in Aromatherapy at www.secretserendipity.com.
The more I see, the less I know for sure. ~~ John Lennon ~
Life is a mystery. People are confusing. It’s frustrating when they don’t think as we do. But we’ve learned some valuable truths along the way. When you try to change other people they will often resist the change. Unless you understand how to communicate in their value system, and inspire them to change themselves, you will always be stuck trying to change them according to your values.
You can never change a person. You can however change the way you see them. When you change the way you perceive them they will change in your eyes without them actually changing. And understanding that makes life a lot easier.
Our minds are constantly trying to make sense of our world, forming judgments and opinions about every situation, event, interaction. Those judgments and opinions will be affected by our central or core belief system. It is as though we are looking at the world through distorted or colored lenses – and everyone has their own personal prescription or color for their glasses.

Focus on the positive in life, surround yourself with good people and train yourself to be aware of evil thoughts. When they pop up in your head, try to think the opposite. Over time, you will think evil thoughts less and less.
Take a look around you! If your not enjoying life then take out all the negative thing’s. Find things you love and people that care for your well-being. Use your imagination every day. Think creatively and have fun.
Life has a lot of simple things you can enjoy. But if you move too fast you will overlook most of them. So don’t be in a hurry. Don’t move too quick. Slow down and pay attention to the world around you.
If you constantly spend time with negative people, you’ll become negative as well. If you spend time around people with no ambition, you’ll find your own dreams slipping away as well. On the other hand, surrounding yourself with awesome people who want the same things you want in life will set you up for success.
We need to learn to relax, let go and enjoy life a little more. Things aren’t as bad as our minds are trying to make us think. They really aren’t.
Mark Twain said, “I have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.” The hallmark of depression and anxiety is worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet and might not happen at all. Worry means thinking about the future—and if you hoist yourself into awareness of the present moment, worrying melts away. Enjoy life right now, this minute, for that is really all we have.
Sweet Spirit: Within each of us is a power greater than the tasks that lie before us. Our awareness of Your presence expands now as we take notice. In meditation, we turn within and fix our inner eyes on You. All of the wisdom, ideas, strength and courage that we need today flows easily into our awareness. A deep sense of calm and peace fills us and moves out through our words, actions and attitudes. And so it is. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who said to Your Apostles: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you,” regard not my sins but the faith of Your Church, and deign to give her peace and unity according to Your Will: Who live and reign, God, world without end. Amen.
When you start treating people like people, they become people. ~ Paul Vitale ~
“Strange is our situation here upon earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: That we are here for the sake of other men — above all for those upon whose smile and well-being our own happiness depends, for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy. Many times a day, I realize how much my outer and inner life is built upon the labors of people, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received and am still receiving.” ~ Albert Einstein, Living Philosophies ~
Let us all go forward in this journey of life and treat others the way we would like to be treated. We must also remember to love, respect, and appreciate ourselves as well, for we cannot love and appreciate others if we don’t love and appreciate ourselves.

Do you know that Fairies are everywhere! Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Halloween is the time when Fairies are the busiest, particularly the Halloween Fairy. As the evening of Halloween approaches and the veil between the world of the living and the undead is at its busiest, Halloween Fairies gather around the children, using their magic to hide them from the ghastly menace of the undead that will soon be free to terrorize those they feel keep them from returning to life.
As the sun sets on Halloween, shrieks, moans and howls fill the air. Fairies are on full alert, making intense searches of every nook and cranny to be certain no child is left without protection. For twenty-four hours, the Halloween Fairies protect the children from the undead, who try to create havoc among the living. The best protection is to wear a costume. Fairy costumes are recommended because the undead fear them, but any costume that convinces the undead that you are one of them will do.
Halloween Fairies belong to the Gothic Fairy family. They are there for your protection. Join us at www.secretserendipity.com as we take our journey to wellness.
Loving others as you love yourself is the way to a peaceful life. Peace comes from within the souls of each one of us when we realize our oneness with the Universe. Peace begets power. Gandhi said that power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the power gained through threat of punishment. If you’ve learned to “control” other people through threatening behavior, demeanor, or actions, those who are subjected to your power will be responding out of coercion, not out of respect or care for you. This is not a peaceful way to live.
Gandhi also said, “There are many causes that I am prepared to die for but no cause that I am prepared to kill for.” A peaceful person does not use violence against another person or animal.
Attaining peace is an outward as well as an inward process. Inner peace comes easier when you accept yourself as you are right now and stop worrying about tomorrow.
In most situations, we really don’t have a choice about whether we can avoid conflict and stress, but we do have a choice about the decisions we make finding workable solutions, and whether or not we will let it affect us. The decisions we make should always be made with integrity and responsibility. If our goal is peace, then we need to be present in the moment. When in the present moment, we should be open to that experience we are facing. Facing our reality and finding solutions at this time is living a peaceful, spiritual life. Practice peace by refusing to participate in violence, either directly or indirectly. Inner peace is the beginning of world peace.
When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. ~ Jimi Hendrix.
If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.” ~ Lao Tzu.
We at www.secretserendipity.com believe that universal peace is our goal. Let’s all try to find our own peaceful way to live.
It doesn’t matter what religion we are. It doesn’t matter what doctrine we ascribe to. It doesn’t matter what people say. What matters is that we open our inner eyes and see the beauty of the risen One in every heart and every leaf. The Christ is not a Christian concept. The Christ is a force of nature – our nature. It no more belongs to a particular group than the ocean belongs to Greenpeace. ~ Marianne Williamson ~
Christ is our creator and Nature is our mother, our home, our security, our peace, our past and our future. We should treat natural things and habitats as believers treat their temples and shrines, as sacred – to be revered and preserved in all their intricate and fragile beauty. What God has done and continues to do through creation is our assurance of what He can do and will do. God’s Word brought the world into existence.
It is when we get into nature that we feel a sense of right, as we feel most like the person we want to be. We should experience more energy than normal, while breathing in all the fresh air, making us more physically active. It is here we become more playful, anticipating all the adventures awaiting us.
Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
It’s hard to stay peaceful if we’re overwhelmed by life. Find some peace, calm, and stability in your inner world so you can be kinder in your outer world. Do whatever soothes you, daily. Spend time in nature, meditate, sing, dance, play, chill on the couch. Do yoga, read by the fire, eat good chocolate while watching an entire sunset. Disconnect from conflict and just breathe for a while. Center yourself and tap into the peace you already carry within.
Our thoughts are powerful. What we pay attention to expands. Attract peace with your thoughts. Notice peaceful people and places, tune out violence.
Get to know the genuine in others. Meet people of other cultures, religions, and backgrounds. Find shared experiences, hopes, and beliefs. Connect on that holy ground, and peace will flow out from those moments.
