Daylight Savings Time “Fall Back 2022” – The first Sunday in November is when Daylight Saving Time ends in most areas of the U.S., so in 2022 we will “fall back” one hour and return to Standard Time on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at 2 a.m. Be sure to set your clocks back one hour before bed Saturday night!
Daylight Savings Time 2022 “Fall Back”
The practice of falling back in the U.S. started in 1918 during World War I as a way to conserve fuel. By moving the clocks ahead an hour, backers believed the country could divert a bit of coal-fired electricity to the military instead of using it for an hour of home power. It was reenacted in World War II. It was repealed again when the war ended, but some states — and even some cities — continued to observe daylight saving time while others kept standard time year-round. That meant driving relatively short distances could result in a time change.
Daylight Savings Time “Fall Back 2022” – Observing Daylight Savings Time!
According to US law, states can choose whether or not to observe Daylight Saving Time. At present, Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii, plus a few other US territories, are the only places in the U.S. that do not observe Daylight Saving Time and stay on Standard Time all year long.
Better Use of Daylight Hours!
The idea behind Daylight Saving Time is to literally “save time” by making better use of daylight hours as the earth orbits around the sun. The practice of moving the clock forward one hour from Standard Time during the spring gives us more daylight during summer evenings; changing them back again in the fall grants us more light during winter mornings.
Daylight Savings Time “Fall Back 2022” – Daylight Savings Time Conserves Energy!
Daylight saving time became a national standard in 1966 when President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Uniform Time Act, which was established as a way to continue to conserve energy. The thinking was, if it’s light out longer, that’s less time you’ll need to use lights in your home.
Daylight Savings Time “Fall Back 2022” – Daylight Savings Time Has Negative Effects!
Some studies suggest that the change in hours that occurs with Daylight Saving Time, has several negative effects on people’s health and brains. On the day after the Daylight Saving Time change takes place, hospitals tend to receive more heart attack patients than usual and there seem to be more vehicle accidents on the roads. This is because the change from standard time to Daylight Saving Time severely impacts our quality of sleep. Even though we only lose one hour of sleep during this transition, that is enough to impact the circadian rhythm that regulates our sleep. After the change, our brains also have trouble adjusting to the new cycles of light and darkness.

November 2022 Full Moon in Taurus – From a Full Moon in Taurus to a New Moon in Sagittarius, from a Leonid Meteor Shower to a total Lunar Eclipse – Observances this November bring us important Days to Celebrate!
A Time That Brings Change!
A total Lunar Eclipse appears on November 8. This Lunar Eclipse is a time when we are forced to change in an inward way. taking into account the ways in which we are failing ourselves, and to rid ourselves of these patterns. If you’ve been longing for a relationship to improve by waiting for the other person to change, the Lunar Eclipse will present you with the facts. You either need to accept the other person, or change yourself.
November 2022 Full Moon in Taurus – A Full Moon in Taurus!
The Full Moon in Taurus appears on November 8th. The Full Frost Moon is one of the names given to the November Full Moon, but it’s most often referred to as the Beaver Moon, a nickname inspired by nature. Native Americans, looking to keep track of time, named the full moons every month based on what was happening in nature. During this Full Moon we learn to let go of drama, power plays, and being overly materialistic. We’re moving toward appreciating basic values, being calm, and feeling safe and secure. Simple pleasures and creature comforts take on elevated meaning. It is the perfect time for setting intentions for what we really want to achieve. This Beaver Moon is also a total lunar eclipse, giving us a six-month time frame for manifestation for any intentions we set during this ecliptic cycle.
This Full Moon Seeks Inner Peace!
From the point of view of emotional stability, a Full Moon focuses mainly on inner satisfaction. Only if we are satisfied with our past decisions can we feel good physically. The basic problem of the Full Moon in the Taurus Zodiac sign may be self-respect, because things in life will seem more difficult than they really are. Our past decisions will be under fire from our own self-criticism, which will cause a negative view of the world. A suitable solution to transform this more negative aspect into positive vibrations would be to find one’s own inner peace. It’s a time to focus no more on global issues. At least these days, we have to focus on ourselves. Don’t look for problems where they aren’t.
November 2022 Full Moon in Taurus – Working Towards Inner Fulfillment!
On November 9, there will be Uranus at opposition. It’s at its closest approach to Earth and its visible face is completely illuminated by the Sun at a magnitude of 5.7. The spiritual lesson of the Uranus opposition is that you will come to terms with your perception of life and its true meaning. The outside world is not as important as it was in the past. Accomplishments will have to mean something to you on the inside. You will no longer live for approval and applause from the outside, world but rather seek spiritual fulfillment. If you don’t work toward spiritual fulfillment in the years following the mid-life crisis, life may grow empty and meaningless. But if you choose to work from your spiritual side, you will find the mid-life crisis to be a true blessing.
November 2022 Full Moon in Taurus – Spiritual Insights and Wisdom!
On the nights of November 17-18, the peak of the Leonids Meteor Shower occurs. During these nights the Moon will be pretty thin. So you won’t have any Moonlight. Meteor showers symbolize beauty rising from ashes. Meteor showers represent the spiritual insights and wisdom gained from looking deep within the shadows of ourselves and our world. They invite us to create new ideas and beliefs. They’re like little bursts of “aha” moments. Meteor showers can be quite the spectacular sighting and are sometimes very rare.
November 2022 Full Moon in Taurus – Spending Time in Nature!
The New Moon in Sagittarius, located during the week of November 23rd is your last chance to experience the Galactic Center of the Milky Way shining in the sky in 2022. It is time to bring a quiet sense of intention and presence into your life. As you allow yourself to rest, spend some time journaling and exploring what is in your heart of hearts. Give yourself extra time in meditation by walking mindfully in nature. Go outside and soak in the energy of this New Moon, giving thoughtful appreciation of the beauty of darkness. Enjoy the stars that can be seen when the moon is hidden in shadow.
Strength and Ambition in November!
The end of November casts an exceptionally positive aspect into our emotions, which harmonizes our inner energies and gives us strength and ambition. From this time until the first days of December, we have tremendous energy to take on even the most difficult tasks, which we will complete with determination. The end of November reminds us how important a positive attitude of our mind is. The Sun in the sign of Sagittarius will bring us more energy and the desire to live life to the fullest. So what emotions we experience in November depends very much on our own inner setting.

Halloween is reportedly celebrated alongside traditional holidays in thirteen countries, including, Colombia, Germany and China, and Halloween is reportedly gaining in popularity in 23 countries, including Australia, Japan and Sweden, according to World Population Review. Halloween is a fun holiday for everyone, regardless of your age. Whether you’re accompanying the kids trick-or-treating, dressing up for a party at your office, handing out candy, carving Jack-o’-lanterns, or just watching scary movies, there’s a tradition that appeals to everybody.
Halloween 2022 Customs!
Halloween is a holiday of many mysterious customs. Children roaming from door to door begging for treats can be traced to the Celtic period and the first few centuries of the Christian era, when it was thought that the souls of the dead were out and around, along with fairies, witches, and demons. Offerings of food and drink were left out to placate them.
History of the Halloween Jack-‘O-Lantern!
The history of the Jack-o’-lantern began in the 18th century with Irish families. They began to put carved-out turnips and other vegetables in their windows, with a hot lump of coal inside to light it up, as a means of preventing a foul-mouthed drunk from the village, Stingy Jack, and other ghouls from entering their homes. Most had scary faces carved into them to frighten away any comers. Once the tradition hit the United States, Irish immigrants soon realized that the pumpkin, native to the states, was an ideal fruit for carving. When European settlers arrived in America, they found that our American pumpkin varieties were well suited to being carved as Jack’s lantern.
HALLOWEEN 2022 – Today’s Halloween Celebration!
Our American pumpkin was found to be large in size, have upright strong walls, and a large hollow cavity… Just what they were looking for. This Halloween pumpkin is hollowed out and cut in order to create a grimacing face and is lit from the inside with a small candle, replacing the burning lump of coal. There was a movement in the late 1800’s to turn Halloween into a celebration emphasizing community and neighborhood activities and parties. This is the Halloween we celebrate today.
Halloween 2022 – Cakes and Candied Apples!
Halloween comes right after the annual apple harvest in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s no surprise that apple-based treats are popular during the holiday. These include candy apples in which the whole fruit is covered in a caramel syrup and rolled in nuts. It is also common to bake or order a Halloween cake with a spooky design fit for the occasion. These usually come on black, white, and orange but other colors may be injected as well. They often feature Jack-o’-lanterns, skulls, ghosts, cobwebs, bones, bats, and other well-known symbols of the holiday.
Halloween is filled with mystery, magic and superstition. Halloween ghosts and goblins are often depicted as extremely fearsome and scary. But what about our dreams? The shadowy ghosts in our dreams represent those aspects that we fear. This is especially true if there are black cats in the dream, and if we avoid crossing paths with them as we fear that they will bring us bad luck. To dream of Halloween signifies death and the underworld. This usually doesn’t mean the death of a person, but a death of an idea or a plan. Seeing yourself walking through a graveyard on Halloween in a dream might mean that you are reminiscing about a dead loved one or that you are feeling lonely and isolated.
We are Many Different Energies!
A Halloween dream also represents the adoption of a new persona where we feel less inhibited and more comfortable to freely express who we are. It is the end of constraint in who we thought we were and the beginning of a new freedom within ourselves. There are many different energies that make up our psyche and we must accept them all as valid parts of who we are.
HALLOWEEN 2022 – Halloween is a Time to be Silly or Scary!
Halloween is the celebration of our imagination and willingness to suspend our belief and dance with our neighbors and friends. Halloween is one of the greatest holidays because almost everyone can participate in it. When it comes to donning Halloween gear, there’s a sense of community, of people who all just want to get dressed up in something silly or scary. It is a great time to use your imagination to don a costume that is unique and innovative. It’s our annual chance to live a fantastical existence. Whatever we want to be, we can put on a costume and be it. But for the most part, nothing beats seeing kids all dressed up and excited to go door to door in search of treats. There’s a crisp in the air and a feeling of happiness that peaks on Halloween. Idealistic maybe, but it’s why we will always love the day.
October 2022 Moon Phases – The Full Moon for this month will occur in the second week on Sunday, October 9th and is in the Astrological sign, Libra. The New Moon will happen later in October on Tuesday, October 25th.
October 2022 Moon Phases – First Quarter Moon!
The First Quarter Moon for this month can be seen on October 3rd, with a visibility of 56%. The First Quarter Moon is a primary Moon phase when half of the Moon’s face is lit up. Whether it is the left or right half depends on where you are on Earth. The ocean tides on Earth are mostly generated by the Moon’s gravitational pull. At the First and Third Quarter, the Moon and Sun pull in different directions, producing the smallest difference between high and low tide, known as neaps or neap tide. During this phase, spend extra time making decisions and take the time to sit back and reflect on any decisions you have made in life, what did they mean to you and what did you learn from them.
October 2022 Moon Phases – Full Moon!
October’s Full Moon will be visible on October 9th and is commonly called the Hunter’s Moon, harkening back to European and Native American traditions where hunters would use the light of the Full Moon to track down their prey and stock up for the coming winter. This is the focal point of October 2022 Moon Phases. Like each month’s Full Moon throughout the year, it brings an ending and a new beginning. But it’s not just about the moon cycle — the Full Moon is a time for a change in your life as well. Contrary to popular belief, the Hunter’s Moon isn’t actually bigger or brighter than usual. It simply rises earlier, soon after sunset, which would give hunters plenty of bright moonlight to hunt by during the early evenings. To Neo Pagans, however, the Hunter’s Moon is known by a far more morbid name – the Blood Moon. It is thought that the hunting story behind the October moon is also why it’s sometimes referred to as the Blood Moon.
Are we Affected by a Full Moon?
Are we affected by a Full Moon? The Moon is an important player in astrology, as it’s considered the planet of emotions, moods, and memories. When the Moon is full, it can bring all of our emotions to the surface and amplify them, whereas New Moons are more calm and reflective periods. Much like the Moon is responsible for the ebb and flow of tides, because our brains are a significant source of water, Dutch researchers hypothesize the Moon’s gravitational pull could similarly have an effect on our brain, causing erratic behavior. The stronger your connection to the Full Moon, the more your heart chakra is aligned. Your heart chakra is home to kindness and forgiveness. This means that a Full Moon is actually the perfect time to let go of negativity. So, it is important to understand all of the October 2022 Moon Phases in order to know how the universe is affecting you!
The Last Quarter Moon will be visible at 53% on October 17th. A Last Quarter Moon appears half-lit by sunshine and half-immersed in its own shadow. It rises in the middle of the night, appears at its highest in the sky around dawn, and sets around midday. During this phase you become aware of what is and is not working with respect to the achievement of your goal for the cycle. Action is essential; either take a correcting action or make the final push needed to realize a successful outcome. The question is: Where do I go from here? At this point, you should recognize your mistakes and should be rewarded for your accomplishments.
October 2022 Moon Phases – New Moon!
The New Moon will be visible at only 1% on October 25th. The darkness of a New Moon is a time for reflection and exploring the unseen. This is a time we usually experience sudden insights and develop new ideas. It is a great time to be creative and participate in writing, painting or anything else that allows the mind to be inspired. Write down what you’re looking to call into your life over the next two weeks and what dreams and schemes you would like to make manifest over the course of the next six months. This New Moon brings about a time of calmness and balance, while also bringing energy and acceptance that anything can be accomplished.

September 9 2022 Full Moon – The Law of Attraction!
Summer is ending and the first awareness of the coming harvest is in the air. It is a time to understand that to have our own needs met, we must serve others in some way. Volunteering can help counteract the effects of stress, anger, and anxiety. Nothing relieves stress better than a meaningful connection to another person. It’s a time to show kindness to others. September is a month to bring order out of confusion. If you aren’t where you want to be in life and you want to make a change, then the first step is really knowing that it’s never too late. Today is just as great of a day to start as any other. Harmony is coming into our lives. When we have a positive focus, then we will tend to attract more positive things. Whereas if we have a negative focus, then we will attract negative things. We know this and are now taking control over where we focus our attention. Where attention goes, energy flows.
September brings awareness. It is important that we receive respect and are not taken for granted. We feel generous and supportive with the people we love, so it’s time to do something special for them. August 2022 Full Moon – August 11th brings a Full Moon in the astrological sign, Aquarius, and has a history rooted in nature. This Full Moon also signals that it’s a time for appreciation and gratitude for what you have and where you’ve come from.
August 2022 Full Moon – Full Sturgeon Moon!
The Full Moon in August was known by early Native American tribes as the Sturgeon Moon because the large sturgeon fish of the Great Lakes and other major lakes were more easily caught at this time of year. The Green Corn Moon, the Grain Moon and the Fruit Moon, are also names of the August Full Moon as they are all inspired by various crops that can be harvested in August. The Green Corn Ceremony was typically held in late June or early July, and the Mature Green Corn Ceremony would take place 45 days later, according to Cherokee.org. Europeans called this Full Moon, as the end of Summer approaches, the Barley Moon, for the harvesting and threshing of the barley. This is a good month to focus on your spiritual and physical health. It’s the time to harvest what you can now to put aside for later use.
August 2022 – Full Fruit Moon!
This Moon is also known as the Fruit Moon because this is the time of year when the apples, plums, peaches, grapes and berries are at their ripest and heavy with juice. Just as the fruit turns to it’s most saturated hue so will the sky begin to arrest us with displays of opulent color, signaling the days turning shorter. Even as we enjoy nature’s visual display coupled with a perfectly ripe piece of fruit in the warm summer night, other perfectly ripe fruit is falling onto the ground uneaten and beginning to decay, representing the many stages of life.
August 2022 Full Moon – Full Moons and Our Emotions!
During this Full Moon of August, take the advice of Native Americans and connect with what brings you joy and share that with others. Don’t overthink. Just find pleasure in your ability to be you. Your focus will be to balance your mind and body through creativity, through play, and through movement. The Full Moon represents our emotional body and subconscious… the part of us that we typically keep hidden or buried under our social personality. During the time of a Full Moon, all of that comes to the surface, asking to be seen. This is why we feel extra emotional, or as some say, the crazy comes out.
August 2022 Full Moon and the Energy of Life!
The energy of the Full Moon is heightened at this time, and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc. are all amplified. When the Sun and Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, it can cause tension and awkward friction, but at the same time, bring a greater expansion of visions and potential possibilities. This is a compelling time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself, and all you have brought into existence.
The Beauty of a Full Moon!
Once you start looking up and observing the Full Moon, you’ll want to get outside more to get a better view. This is a wonderful time to enjoy the fresh air and gain perspective. Remember how tiny you are—how your small, significant life is connected to all others. Recite the words to that ancient lullaby: “I see the Moon and the Moon sees me, God bless the Moon and God bless me.”
The Perseids Meteor Shower!
The Perseids Meteor Shower in August will peak between August 11 and 12. Meteor showers symbolize beauty rising from ashes. They also represent the spiritual insights and wisdom gained from looking deep within the shadows of ourselves and our world. In Ancient Greece, an astronomer named Ptolemy claimed that meteor showers are shooting stars that would occur when the gods opened up the sky to watch the humans below. People started wishing upon the stars in hopes that the gods were listening at that very moment.
The Perseids Meteor Shower and Clarity!
The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by comet Swift-Tuttle, which was discovered in 1862. The Perseids are famous for producing a large number of bright meteors. There are a number of positive changes that often occur after this amazing meteor shower. It’s a time when you’re likely to be inspired to find an innovative solution to a troubling problem. Even though you may have been muddling along not knowing whether to change careers, make a commitment to a new relationship or move to a new city, suddenly your vision as to what to do is clear.
A Time to Focus on Life!
Both events in August occur in the astrological sign of Aquarius. This is a great time for people working in humanitarian and emergency situations, for it helps you to focus on the needs of the group and of the moment, rather than being personally affected by what is going on around. Because the emotional qualities governed by the Moon are influenced by an Air sign, you may be at times detached or inclined toward objectivity in your emotional responses. This sign is perhaps the least “emotional” of the Zodiac, and consequently, you are likely to be more comfortable with words and ideas, than you are with the more sentimental, or passionate, dimensions of life.

The Full Moon Super Moon July 2022 for July will occur in the second week, on Wednesday, July 13th. This Full Moon is in the Astrological Sign of Capricorn. This will also be a Super Full Moon. A Super Moon is closer to the earth than a normal Moon, and this one promises to be the closest out of all of the Super Moons in 2022.
Full Moon Super Moon July 13th 2022!
A Super Moon is brighter and an apparently larger Full Moon due to it being near its closest point to the Earth in its orbit (the Perigee). How much bigger and brighter is it? At most, it appears about 14% larger and up to 30% brighter. Because of the influence that both emotion and motivation play in this Super Moon, it’s a great opportunity to channel your inner Virgo (no matter your sign) and declutter every aspect of your life. It’s a great time for a ritual or for a self-care practice that helps you deepen your sense of self-worth.
Full Thunder Moon – July, 2022!
July’s Full Moon is called the Full Thunder Moon, after the frequent thunderstorms that roll in during early summer. Thunderstorms are more likely to form in humid environments during summer because of the moist, hot air rising from the ground to the higher, colder parts of our atmosphere. The Full Thunder Moon is, therefore, a warning sign for a surprisingly dangerous time of the year. Lightning can strike from up to 10 miles away, and nothing can protect you when you’re outdoors.
Full Moon Super Moon July 2022 – Sleeping Under a Full Moon!
Full Moons are primal times for manifestation and climaxes. This lunation can bring out everyone’s inner animal. While astrologers usually associate this side effect with passion, it can also lead to fights, and there are even studies that show crime does go up during a Full Moon. Sleeping under the Full Moon is one of the best cleansing rituals you can do for your body. In this process, your body will be brought back to balance as the Full Moon helps release your body from any harmful negativity.
Full Super Moon is in Capricorn!
The Astrological Sign Capricorn is ruled by strict Saturn and associated with the 10th House of Social Status. As a result, this Full Moon illuminates your professional life. Full Moons can be dramatic, but that’s not always a bad thing. Remember, they are also powerful times of manifestation. The Capricorn Full Moon could bring exciting new professional opportunities and bursts of energy, helping you complete a project.
Full Thunder Moon Safety Precautions!
The Full Thunder Moon is a great time for you to brush up on your lightning safety knowledge and educate other people as well. Make sure to stay far away from any plumbing, metal objects, electronic devices and equipment, or anything that might conducts electricity during a storm. Avoid windows or doors at all costs. Feel free to head to the wild outdoors to observe deer, whose velvety antlers are growing out during this period – which is why July’s Full Moon is also known as the Full Buck Moon – but also make sure to take the necessary safety precautions.
July Also Brings a Full Buck Moon!
July’s Full Moon is also called the Full Buck Moon because it’s normally around the time when the new antlers on bucks begin to show. There are lots of animals that can lose and regrow body parts like this, but deer are the only mammals with this trick. And deer do it really well — antlers have one of the fastest re-growing times out of all of these body parts. Today, scientists are interested in learning more about how the process works in hopes of applying those techniques to human medicine in the future. Some tribes and early colonists referred to the Full Moon in July as the “Hay Moon.” The “Hay Moon” was a signal to farmers to start storing their hay for winter. It has also been called the Blueberry Moon.
July’s Full Moon Brings Party Magic!
This Full Moon is going to bring about interesting encounters in your personal life, as well as fun and stimulating events. The Full Moon of July often casts an exuberant vibe, making it a great time to have a party. Candlelight and dramatic bouquets add a touch of transformational magic to your entertaining. Dinner gatherings are a way of celebrating family, coworkers, friends and foods that have traditional meaning. This also opens the door for meaningful people to step into your life. But there is a dark side to this Moon.
Dark Side of a Full Moon!
A Full Moon has exciting energy, but there is also a dark side we must deal with. Some astrologists believe this July Full Moon can be a dangerous one. According to Astrology King, the position of the Moon directly opposite of the Sun and Mars “creates such intensely hot energy that it will be difficult to control.” Incoming and outgoing energies must match. You can’t expect to receive great energy if the one you give off is terrible. Act on principle. Even if someone has done something wrong to you, don’t retaliate. Let Karma address it.
Full Moon Brings Unsettled Karma!
To forgive is to detach from the anger, bitterness, and frustration you harbor internally. Every person is fighting his or her own battles with Karma energy. The sooner we identify the sources of our unsettled Karma and take action to resolve it, the sooner we experience the miracle of liberation. Do good, even when you’re not expected to. When in doubt, act in ways you would want others to act toward you. The Full Moon is the time to stay calm, let things go, breathe deeply through difficult moments and forgive others for their mistakes.
Understanding Our Emotions During a Full Moon!
Once we’ve learned to understand our emotions, we need to learn what to do with them. Understanding our emotions may lead us to have healthy conversations with loved ones. If we’ve buried our emotions for a long time, it can be very painful to face them. Often it can seem like things are getting worse before we learn to deal with how we feel. Don’t give up before you receive the healing benefits of getting more in tune with yourself! Look to meditation to help in the healing process.

May and June 2022 – Mercury Retrograde and Summer Solstice – Mercury started its Retrograde Motion on May 10 and continues into the month of June. It is believed that we are all influenced by the effect of Mercury in Retrograde. When Mercury is Retrograde, it is moving slower than Earth around the Sun. (Mercury usually moves 88 days around the Sun versus the 365 days that Earth does.) This creates an optical illusion in which we think that Mercury is moving backward.
Mercury Retrograde Begins in May!
Mercury is the planet of communication, the mind, intelligence, connection, media, technology and commerce. It is the fastest moving celestial body in our sky, second only to the Moon. Mercury is known as a personal planet, which means that it affects us significantly within our day-to-day lives. Since everything that Mercury rules is so integral to our daily routines, we notice the effects of any of these retrogrades very potently.
Mercury Retrograde Has Us Staying Put!
Mercury goes Retrograde three times every year. As it slows down before the Retrograde period, we call it the Pre-Retrograde. Mercury starts losing power then and hence new ventures cannot do well in this period. Then there is the Post-Retrograde when Mercury picks up or gains speed but is still moving slowly enough to cause a slow progress in the projects undertaken. During the Mercury Retrograde period it is advised not to venture into any new territory and to stay put. Actually Mercury keeps going around the Sun, always in the same direction and more or less at the same speed. Knowing the Mercury retrograde periods can help you to plan your ventures in advance so that they do not go off-track.
When Mercury is Retrograde, try to remain flexible, patient, and understanding, allow extra time for travel, and avoid signing onto any new contracts that you’re unsure of. Double check your email responses and check in with reservations before you take that trip. Revisiting old projects can help you put the finishing touches on any work that’s fallen to the wayside, as this is a perfect time to edit and tie up loose ends. Find a few crystals, sip some tea and stay one step ahead of the planet.
June Solstice Begins June 21!
The June Solstice occurs on Tuesday, June 21. This solstice marks the official beginning of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, occurring when Earth arrives at the point in its orbit where the North Pole is at its maximum tilt (about 23.5 degrees) toward the Sun, resulting in the longest day and shortest night of the calendar year. By longest day, we mean the longest period of sunlight hours.
June Solstice is also the Summer Solstice!
The word Solstice comes from the Latin ‘solstitium’ meaning ‘Sun stands still’ because the movement of the Sun’s path north or south appears to stop before changing direction. It is also time to understand that the Sun will now begin to decline once more towards winter – and that balance will be restored to the world. It’s a time of meaning and great significance for many, so it should come as no surprise to hear that it can affect our horoscopes, too.
The Sun and Mercury Join at this Time!
The Sun (ego) and Mercury (communications) are together at this time. This suggests that “better communications” is going to be a theme in the world and also in our personal lives. If you want to live consciously and tap into the solstice energies, promise yourself that over the coming three months, you will pay better attention to how well you’re communicating. That means when you’re talking or writing, pay attention. Also think about non-verbal communication signals you’re sending out (think; crossed arms and eye rolls). Take a moment to reflect. Mercury Retrograde can be an excellent time to take a step back and re-analyze who you are and what you are doing.
Brings the Magic of the Power of Love!
The June Solstice chart has an awesome Venus/Pluto link on it. In theory this can show us all the magic (Pluto) of the power of love (Venus). The message is that love can change everything. That means in your own life and also on a global scale. Love comes in many forms, and the world could use a lot of it right now. Use this time to become a helper, an encouraging voice and a supportive friend. Above all else, be mindful of what you say, share and read about others – and remember that solidarity and friendship are crucial tools in these dark times. Know that things will get better.
Summer Solstice is all About Connections!
Expect your curiosities to be piqued this season. You have the Moon to thank for that! In the astrological chart of the Summer Solstice, the Moon will be in Scorpio. As an emotional water sign, Scorpio likes to go deep and explore life’s depths as well as taboo topics. Now could be the time to meet new friends and deepen existing relationships. Summer is all about connection. With both luminaries in water signs (the Sun will be entering Cancer), we can expect to be immersed in feelings, deep emotions, and creative endeavors. Make sure to go out and about for there is someone out there you are destined to meet.

June 2022 Astrological Events – June 2021 brings many exciting Celestial events! June’s Full Moon in Sagittarius is a Strawberry Moon as it comes at the time of year when wild strawberries are ripe. We will also experience June’s Summer Solstice! From June 4th, until the end of the month, we will be affected by the planet Saturn, which is responsible for our work responsibilities and financial well being.
June 2022 Astrological Events – June Brings Mercury Retrograde!
Mercury in the Retrograde direction is already weaker than last month, and therefore it will have a more significant effect only on Horoscopes in June, 2022, and on the home signs: Gemini, Virgo, and also on the air and earth signs of the zodiac. If you have already started some financial transactions or projects, it is the best time to complete them, due to the guidance of the Mercury influence.
June 2022 Astrological Events – A Summer Solstice around June 21!
Around June 21, there will be a Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, where it is the longest day of the year. In the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year. Solstices happen twice a year – in June and December. The June Solstice happens around June 21, when the Sun is directly overhead the Tropic of Cancer. The December solstice takes place around December 21. On this day, the Sun is precisely over the Tropic of Capricorn.
June 2022 Astrological Events – Solstice Energies and Communication!
If you want to live consciously and tap into the Solstice energies, promise yourself that over the coming three months, you will pay better attention to how well you are communicating. This is most important when you are talking or writing. Also think about non-verbal communication signals you’re sending out (think — crossed arms and eye rolls.) This Solstice is known to bring the power of Love. Love comes in many forms, and the world could use a lot of it right now. Use this time to become a helper, an encouraging voice and a supportive friend to friends and family. Make an extra effort to be kind.
June 14 – The Strawberry Full Moon!
June’s Full Moon is often called the Strawberry Full Moon, after the berries that grow in the Northern Hemisphere around this time of the year. The Mead Moon and Honey Moon are old European names for June’s Full Moon, and some believe that it may be related to why the first month of marriage is called the honeymoon, since at least the 1500’s. This may be because of the practice of getting married in the month of June, or because June’s Honey Moon is considered as the “Sweetest Moon of the Year,” possibly due to the honey being ripe and ready for harvest at the end of the month.
June’s Full Moon is a Super Moon!
June’s Full Strawberry Moon on June 14 is also a Super Moon. It is the third of three Super Moons in 2022. When a Full Moon occurs at the closest point to Earth during its orbit, it appears larger and brighter, becoming what is commonly known as a ‘Super Moon.” A Super Moon looks much larger and far brighter than the Moon on any other night. If you have been having a rough year, in the emotional phase of life, you should look forward to witnessing a Super Moon. During this time, you should sit in the open, under the Moon, and let its light reach out to you. The longer you sit under this Moon, the more healing it will do for you. As the light reaches you, you will feel emotionally at ease and at peace. You may feel all your sorrows being washed away by the light of this Super Moon as it does your healing.
Affirmation for a Super Moon!
What to say while you reflect under the light of the Super Moon: I am cleansing. I am letting go. I am releasing all that must go. I let go of my regrets, and the pains of my past. I acknowledge that shadows exist but they are not all that lies on my path. My life is free, my light is clear. I am not one to succumb to my fear. Universe guide me so I may grow. I am open to the light. I am open to the love. I am open to the wholeness that flows from above. I am authentic me, I love myself and my life. Mother Moon, I thank you for this cleansing, thank you for this light. I am me. I am whole, and I trust the way the wind blows.
Full Moons Expose the Good, the Bad and the Ugly!
Full Moons are Celestial flashlights. They expose the good, the bad, and the ugly. Major information, especially pertaining to work and professional aspirations, will be revealed during this upcoming Strawberry Full Moon, Super Moon, so the best way to prepare is to keep an open mind and heart. Whether you’ve been hiding from some uncomfortable situations in your relationship, or you’ve been doubting yourself when it comes to making major career choices, the Strawberry Moon will show you exactly what’s going on with you, if you are open to it.
June 2022 Astrological Events – A Full Moon is a Time for Love and Light!
This month’s Full Moon is traditionally a time of wonder, in which people are encouraged to care for themselves, seek beauty in their surroundings, and, most importantly, incite positive changes in their lives. This is a difficult time for all of us. Try to manifest within your heart and soul the spirit of Love and Light and send it out to the world that is filled with great darkness. Make the effort to give a compliment to someone today. Make a habit of doing this at least once every day. Even the tiniest candle can light the darkest room. Let’s all do our part to make this a better, more accepting, world.

May 2022 Astrological Events – begins in the sign of Taurus. May’s ruling planet is Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, and abundance. The Full Moon of May features a Full Flower Moon, which is also the first Eclipse of the year.
May 2022 Astrological Events – Eta Aquariids Meteor Shower!
May 5, 2022 brings the Eta Aquariids Meteor Shower. In the hour or two before dawn, wherever you are in the world—look to the eastern horizon for the constellation of Aquarius. (Stargazing apps or star charts can come in handy here.) Be patient, and you’ll likely see more than a handful of shooting stars, which are predicted to rain down at rates of about 10 to 20 meteors per hour. Those who can’t hunt for shooting stars on the morning of the May 5 shower might also be able to catch some stray fireballs near dawn on May 4 or 6, according to EarthSky.
May 16 has a Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Flower Moon because this was the time of year when spring flowers appeared in abundance. This Moon has also been known as the Corn Planting Moon and the Milk Moon.
May 2022 Astrological Events – Full Moon Meditation to Quiet the Mind!
Meditation during a Full Moon is a powerful way to quiet the mind and bring your energy back inwards. Taking time for a guided meditation or even light physical activity, like yoga or walking, can also be beneficial during the Full Moon. Focus on self-love and self-worth by taking time to light candles, draw a cleansing salt bath, and use the Full Moon’s energy to reconnect with your physical body and spirit.
May 15 -16 Lunar Moon Eclipse!
The Year’s First Lunar Eclipse will appear on May 15 – 16, 2022. A total Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes completely through the Earth’s dark shadow, or umbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will gradually get darker and then take on a rusty or blood red color. It’s a releasing eclipse: it’s all about releasing and letting go of old Karma. This is a highly dramatic Moon with every potential of conflict, argument and power and control games. If not for the help and support of Pluto, Mars and Neptune, this one would be a train wreck.
May 2022 Astrological Events – A Lunar Eclipse Brings Revelations!
Lunar Eclipses bring powerful forces that mix the past, with the present and the future. An Eclipse can set in motion surprising endings, beginnings, and fated events. Eclipses in astrology always bring sudden shocks and revelations, so this lunation is likely to inspire a totally new sense of direction and purpose for all zodiac signs. We will want to embrace Sagittarius’ optimistic and adventure-loving vibe as we navigate the eclipse-induced changes and focus on seeing the big-picture when examining our goals.
Mercury Retrograde Starts May 10!
The last week of May has an explosive finale, as it brings a Mercury Retrograde motion – happening May 10 to June 2. Three times a year, the planet Mercury appears to travel backward across the sky. We refer to these periods as times when Mercury is in apparent retrograde motion, or simply ”Mercury Retrograde.” Some blame Mercury retrograde for all chaos that happens in their lives. This is a good time to sit back and review what you put your energy towards. Take a moment to reflect. Mercury retrograde can be an excellent time to take a step back and reanalyze who you are and what you are doing.
Mercury Retrograde Brings Confusion!
Mercury is the planet that rules communication, thinking, timing, and scheduling, so its pesky retrogrades can really throw off our day-to-day equilibrium. You already know the Mercury retrograde drill: Expect typos, tech troubles, and missed appointments galore. You’ll want to double check your texts and think through your words before firing off — especially given that this retrograde takes place in Gemini, one of the zodiac signs ruled by Mercury itself.
The Law of Attraction!
When we want to attract something particular into our lives we can use the knowledge of the law of attraction and the power of our minds to attract that thing – purely by making it our vibrational focus. We have to first understand that everything happens at the time it should, no sooner and no later. Start with this affirmation:“Thank you, Universe and guides of the highest truth and compassion. I am ready to feel free. I welcome a newfound faith.” Say the prayer out loud and take a moment to settle into the feelings of what it means to surrender to faith in the Universe. Manifesting is the creative process of aligning with the energy of the Universe to co-create an experience that elevates your spirit and the spirit of the world. Manifesting isn’t about getting; it’s about becoming. The more you let go, the more you become a match for what you desire.

EASTER and Astrology – Easter is the celebration of hope, positivity, and a new dawn in life. This year, Sunday, Apr 17, 2022, marks the day Easter is celebrated. Easter is celebrated to mark the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion and burial. It is a time to remember those who have passed and to do more with what we have – a time for Gratitude!
The term “Easter” can be traced back to the Anglo-Saxon goddess called Eostre. She is the goddess of Spring and of light. Since the Spring Equinox happens during April, her honored festival is commemorated during the same month for the same reason. Easter is determined to be the first Sunday after the first Full Moon following the Spring Equinox. Her earth symbol is the rabbit, thus the connection of the Easter rabbit to the Easter celebration.
EASTER and Astrology – Easter Time and Our Destiny!
When destiny calls, Easter time turns out to be a time suited for great negotiations. It is a time to be ruthless, charming and resourceful. Historic buildings need to be saved, a lovely piece of countryside needs to be preserved, and maybe an old railway should be kept from demolition. It is the time that shows what heroes are made of. It’s time to show remarkable bravery if what you want or what you pursue requires sacrifice or heroism of any kind for a humane cause.
EASTER and Astrology and Self-Discovery!
Easter is a very special time of the year. It is a time to understand the sorrows and sacrifices of Holy Week, and the Easter Sunday celebration of the Resurrection of our Savior. It is a time for self-discovery and awareness. Having awareness helps us have a more positive outlook on life.
Becoming aware of the present moment can help us enjoy the world around us more, and understand ourselves better. Awareness doesn’t start by trying to change or fix anything. It’s about allowing ourselves to see the present moment clearly. When we do that, it can positively change the way we see ourselves and our lives.
Walk with a Purpose!
We can start by being observant of our surroundings. Walk with purpose. Do not zone out when walking. Pay attention to the movement of your body. Take in the scenery. Walking on this planet is a joy. Mindful walking allows us to be aware of the pleasure of walking and experiencing.
Mentally aware people accept they do not always have all the answers. Every single thing that happens to us can be viewed negatively or positively. Remember, life is not so much what happens to us, but how we respond. How you choose to perceive an experience often determines that response. Others judge us, too, by how we react to a situation, not the situation, itself.
Easter eggs go back at least as far as Ancient Persia and painted eggs were part of the Spring Equinox Festival also known as Noruz. Eggs are an obvious choice to use if you want to symbolically celebrate fertility. But the reason for the eggs is Venusian. The egg is a high symbol of the ubiquitous Goddess known as Venus Ishtar, Innana, Oestra, and many more. In fact the word for Easter comes from the name Eostra. So we have eggs and other obvious symbols of the Goddess religion.
EASTER and Astrology – The Easter Tree!
An Easter Tree is a festive centerpiece for a spring nature table in the weeks leading up to Easter. Easter egg trees are a very popular old European tradition. Originally found in Germany and Austria, they are also found in Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Moravia, and Hungary. The Spring tradition of the Egg Tree is centuries old, as the egg is the ancient symbol of life all over the world.
Traditionally eggs are hung on the branches of trees outside and on branches inside the home to celebrate the holiday. Easter egg trees can be inside or outside, elaborate or simple, but most importantly they should be fun and bring the family together in celebration of spring and Easter! We have an easy Easter craft idea that makes a beautiful Easter decoration and centerpiece for your Easter table. You can be as festive and original as you want.
Easter Decoration Project for the Family!
Start by taking the family on a nature hunt to collect branches. Be sure to choose a branch (or branches) with many small limbs and wipe it clean before decorating. You can paint the branches in any color you please, white seems to be the most popular, or leave it in its natural state. Find a container to hold your branches. Place the branches in a large vase or flower-pot, and add sand or small pebbles around the base of the branch to keep it upright. If you were lucky enough to find a branch with blossoms, use water in your vase to keep it alive.
Decorating for Easter!
These branches of the tree may feature egg ornaments, pipe cleaner baskets with small bunnies, small bunches of fabric flowers, etc., all hung from colorful thread and pipe cleaners. Little forest animals and plastic or Styrofoam eggs can be decorated for the tree. Styrofoam eggs are a holiday craft material suitable for even young children. They’re lightweight, difficult to break and last for many years. These faux eggs are ideal for a family that doesn’t want to decorate real chicken eggs for Easter but still wants to decorate eggs. The soft surface of Styrofoam suits embellishments of all types – from painting, decorating with ribbons, pins and sequins, fancy beads, to decoupage.
Hanging the Colorful Easter Eggs!
To hang your eggs when you’re done, tie a 6” – 8” length of ribbon in a loop, and then pin and glue the ribbon loop to the narrow end of the egg. Once you and your children learn how to make your own Easter tree, you may decide it’s something you would like to add as a family tradition. Build memories for your kids that they will treasure for a lifetime!
Easter Bunnies and Chicks!
Besides eggs, Easter is filled with images of bunnies, baby chicks, and lily flowers because they are all symbols of rebirth. The Easter Bunny, for example, arose originally as a symbol of fertility, due to the rapid reproduction habits of the hare and rabbit. It is also part of German Lutheran folklore where the “Easter Hare” judged children’s behavior at the beginning of the Easter tide season.
Easter and The Spring Equinox!
The shift in the Spring Equinox is due to a wobble in the Earth’s spin that takes 24,000 years to complete. The Sun is currently in the constellation of Pisces during the Spring Equinox, but in Roman times it was in Aries, and in 600 years, it will be in Aquarius, which will bring in “the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius.”
Easter happens at the Spring Equinox, the entry into the light half of the year. Sunday is the Sun’s day, and we celebrate the ending of one week and the beginning of another, a theme that echoes the Easter story of Resurrection.

April will bring many energies. There will be a Full Pink Moon on the 16th, which brings an opportunity for change and growth. It is a time to focus on being more adaptive and flexible so that your relationships can thrive. It brings a time of Peace!
April is Global Astronomy Month!
This month-long celebration encourages people to share and appreciate the sky. How far apart can we be if we’re still looking into the same air above us? If we can still dance under the same Crescent Moon? If we can laugh into our phone receivers at the sound of one another’s voice, watching the Big Dipper glow miles and miles over both of our heads!
April 2022 Astrological Events – April 1 Starts the Month with a New Moon!
The greatest difference between a high and low tide is around the New Moon and Full Moon. During these Moon phases, the Moon and the Sun’s gravitational forces combine to push the ocean’s water in the same direction. These tides are known as spring tides or king tides. Darkness expands the imagination and our concept of what is possible. To that end, the New Moon is a celestial slate-cleaning, a summons to dream and an invitation to initiate. This is a time for imagining a future rather than examining the past. Let the past stay in the past. Learn from your mistakes. Don’t look back, you’re not going that way. Smile!
April 16 Introduces a Pink Full Moon!
This Pink Moon will be in Libra, and it falls during the Aries’ season. Its Libra energy will help us balance out Aries’ adventurous spirit during this exciting time of year. April’s Pink Moon is named after phlox, the pink flowers that bloom in spring. Part of the Full Pink Moon meaning is about seeing signs of life in Nature and embracing the beauty abounding this time of year. One way we can harness the revival of spring is to consider doing some renovations in terms of color. Plant some colorful spring flowers. Spray paint buckets in beautiful colors, plant your spring flowers, and enjoy the cheerfulness of the flowers for months to come. Other names for this Full Moon are Sprouting Grass Moon, Fish Moon, Hare Moon, Egg Moon, and Paschal Moon.
April 2022 Astrological Events – April 21 and 22 Has the Lyrid Meteor Shower Bringing Energy!
This will be the first meteor shower to peak in over three months, ending a lengthy meteor shower drought, and producing around 15 shooting stars per hour. This intense phase, when a meteor shower is in full bloom, will stir emotions and memories that can take us closer to our true selves. It will also be a time when things hidden in our unconscious—our fears, self-doubts, insecurities—will be brought to light. The more we accept these and choose to heal ourselves, the more the transformation will be powerful and enlightening. Meteors are believed to be spiritual gifts from heaven.
April 2022 Astrological Events -April 30 Brings a Partial Solar Eclipse!
A Partial Solar Eclipse brings sudden and unexpected change to your life. You might feel like you’ve been picked up without warning and then dropped off somewhere you don’t recognize. You will feel like you’re not yourself. You might receive some unexpected news that alters the course of your journey forever. The solar eclipse is also a clear symbolic message that says you are different, we are all different. Let’s join forces and create something awesome together! The big takeaway lesson about a Solar Eclipse is that changes are coming, and it’s about loving all the things that make us simultaneously separate and yet the same.
April 30 Ushers in the Dark Black Moon!
April’s “Black Moon” is the counterpart to the Blue Moon, used to describe the second new Moon of the month. Black Moons cannot be observed, as it is the time when the illuminated side of the Moon is facing away from the Earth. Although the Black Moon cannot be spotted in the sky, this is a good time of the month for stargazing. Some believe the moon will pull out our darkest feelings, our scariest skeletons, everything we keep hidden and would rather continue to avoid. It’s a time that drama might ensue. There will be no natural light pollution from the Moon, giving sky watchers darker views of the cosmos. Be careful of getting bored— your charm draws people in, but you will enjoy the chase so much more than the prize. In this placement, there needs to be an acceptance that being ‘inactive’ is not a bad thing.

The Zodiac Signs for February are Aquarius, from January 20th through February 18th and Pisces completes the month from February 19th through March 20th.
Moon Phases February 2022 – Aquarius Moon
February 1st brings the New Moon in Aquarius – For a couple of days each month we all get drawn into the influence of the Aquarius Moon. This is the time when we’re more inclined to march to the beat of our own drum. Aquarius is anything but cookie-cutter, and this lunation will have us trying to figure out what it is that makes us unique so that we can share it with the world.
The New Moon of February is a symbol of renovation, new beginnings, and fresh chances. And while starting new things is always difficult, the sheer act forces you to look inward and invest your energy in holistic health. If you find yourself dealing with sudden thoughts and newfound awareness, know that the lunar phase is preparing you for a purge. Clear your energy of everything that is not serving you and set intentions based around your most authentic self. There is no growth without shedding your old skin.
The Aquarius Moon could also have you feeling a little bit more rebellious and spontaneous than usual. You may crave freedom and a distraction from your everyday life. If you’ve been feeling stuck in a rut, this is when you’ll decide to change up your routine or break old habits.
Moon Phases February 2022 – The Snow Moon
Full Moon – February 16, The Snow Moon – The explanation behind February’s full Moon name is a fairly straightforward one: it’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February. On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather Service. In the 1760s, Captain Jonathan Carver wrote that the name used for this period was the Snow Moon, “because more snow commonly falls during this month than any other in the winter.”
The Full Moon of February is a time of reflection, and release. It is about how our energy is expressed in the world, and living in relationship to others. It is a time for releasing inhibitions to stepping out in the world, and noticing what is coming to fruition in your life. What is working? The Full Moon calls us to cultivate a cooperative dynamic with the world. It is time to receive support for what you are up to. This is the phase where the seeds we’ve planted start to blossom in the light.
Moon Phases February 2022 – The Moon and Venus
February 26: The Moon and Venus – Venus will shine brightly through February and into March. On February 13, it will hit its brightest point of the year. Then, in the pre-dawn hours of February 26, you can see the Moon and Venus coming close together to form a beautiful pairing. If you use binoculars or a telescope early in the month, you might be able to see the crescent phase of the planet.
When the Moon and Venus conjoin, we tend to feel more positive about our relationships and experience a stronger desire to connect to one another. The Moon and Venus conjoining means romance, passion, and pleasure, as Venus is actually the planet of pleasure. It’s also good for our individual well being which, of course, will positively influence your relationships. The Moon represents our emotions and internal state of equilibrium.

It’s about being true to your own needs and your right to be a unique individual. The New Moon also reminds us of how much personal power we have when we use it to make things happen. Use it wisely.
Moon Phases January 2022 – January 3,4, 2022 – Quadrantids Meteor Shower!
January 3 & 4 – Quadrantids Meteor Shower. The Quadrantids will peak on the night of the 3rd going into the 4th. Unlike others, this shower has a very sharp peak that you must be in the right place at the right time to witness, otherwise you see significantly less meteors. January 25 – Moon at Last Quarter. Last Quarter Moon arrives about a week after each Full Moon. This is the time to seek balance and not to try anything new. A good time to clear out cupboards and also to weed and clear out your plants, whether literally or figuratively.
January 29 – Conjunction of the Moon and Mars. Moon and Mars conjunction can make a person lose his or her temper very quickly. They may get angry on small things and not tolerate very much. They will fight on unimportant things. If they see anything and like it, a strong desire will come into their mind to get that thing as soon as possible. This is a good time to stay in the background and not look for confrontation for it will soon pass.
Moon Phases January 2022 – January 31 – Conjunction of the Moon and Mercury!
January 31 – Conjunction of the Moon and Mercury. The Moon is creativity and Mercury is intellect and all about communication. When these two planets come together, people tend to be very tactful and polite in their speech. It is a time when people are very talkative and go on expressing, explaining their feelings, share day-to-day life with anyone who will listen to them. Mercury also controls one’s ability to make objective decisions. When conjunct with the Moon, a person feels it is too big of a deal if they make the wrong decision, so they worry.

December 2021 Astrological Events – December is a Water month. It brings challenges to help us cope with the continuous stream of new responsibilities all of us have faced, and are facing. The patron saint of most of December is Neptune, responsible for inspiration, concentration and composure. If asked, he can activate your mental and physical abilities, help you prioritize and guide you in the right direction
December 2021 Astrological Events – New Moon in Sagittarius!
December 4th – New Moon – If the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun in its orbit, then the back side of the Moon is lit up and the side facing the Earth is in darkness. This is called a new Moon. With this Moon in Sagittarius you have an optimistic approach to life and you believe that things will get better even if you get into trouble. The New Moon is an ideal time to set intentions and goals that you’ll develop as the Moon waxes toward fullness. Connecting to these Lunar energies can provide grounding and a sense of direction.
December 2021 Astrological Events – Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius!
December 4th – The Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius invites us to cultivate our will to manifest the adventures of our dreams. Additionally, the eclipse will be closely conjunct with Mercury, hinting towards a need to have a humble attitude going forward. Though Sagittarius embodies the concepts of certainty and conviction, Mercury is here to remind us that truth is more complicated than it may seem. The ruler of this Eclipse (Jupiter) will also be squaring Mars shortly after the lunation. This transit symbolizes our need to grow free of the things that have been tying us down. Recklessness and disruptive behavior might be distinct aspects of this cycle. With that being said, we must think before we act.
December 2021 Astrological Events – New Moon Brings Time of Insecurity!
December 11th – First Quarter Moon – This phase occurs roughly 7 days after the New Moon when the Moon is one quarter of the way through its orbit around the earth. Exactly half the Moon will be illuminated and half dark. You can experience feelings of insecurity, so be passive and only wait and see what happens in your life. You will be pleasantly surprised. If you engage in creative or spiritual search, you will benefit from great imagination of Pisces.
December 2021 Astrological Events – The Cold, Yule, Full Moon!
December 19th – Full Moon in Gemini – December’s Full Moon is known as the Cold Moon and the Long Night’s Moon. This Full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky, causing it to sit about the horizon for a longer period of time. It is also known as the Moon Before Yule, in honor of the ancient European festival celebrating the return of the Sun heralded by the year’s longest night. A Full Moon in Gemini manifests itself by the need for changes and spontaneity. Safety lies in thinking about your feelings and sharing them with others. Stay with the positive.
December 2021 Astrological Events – Last Quarter Moon – Always Be Kind!
December 27th – Last Quarter Moon – The Last Quarter Moon falls one week after the Full Moon. From Earth, we see the Moon half-lit. A Last Quarter Moon appears half-lit by sunshine and half-immersed in its own shadow. It rises in the middle of the night, appears at its highest in the sky around dawn, and sets around midday. During this time, you desire to keep things “nice” rather than venturing into fundamental questions in order not to disturb the peace. You must learn to share your good and bad feelings. Do not be afraid to be who you really are, despite what is expected of you. Always be kind.
December 2021 Astrological Events – Venus and Pluto Conjunct!
During the month of December, 2021, Venus and Pluto will be conjunct in Capricorn, bringing passion and desire to a month already full of events. However, the fact that this conjunction is happening in a sign ruled by Saturn can be quite enjoyable. Capricorn is not usually a sign associated with fun and extravagance. Much contrary, here is where hard work and perseverance are exalted. This could symbolize that the luxury that Venus desires is one that we will have to achieve through hard work and patience.

1) Freedom. Despite frustration with politics. I’m very thankful for the men and women — and their families — serving in the military.
2) Friends and family. I’m thankful for new relationships and connections this past year — both online and right here at home. Of course, I love my long-time friendships as well.
3) Healthy Children. Children from families who eat together on a regular basis are more likely to have family support, positive peer influences, and positive role models. The world of tomorrow will inherit the children of today.
4) Nature. I’m thankful for the beautiful world around me — for the changing seasons, the brilliant colors, the promise of coming spring.
5) Finding money in your pocket. Money that hasn’t been budgeted for, remembered, or owed. It is disposable income in the truest sense of the phrase.
6) A pet. Having a pet helps you stay connected to life. They are great companions and the perfect best friend. They are always around when you need them and provide constant and loving companionship. They ask for very little in return, they just want to be where you are.
7) Your health, even on days when it isn’t perfect. Being healthy means that your body is functioning as it should, without pain or discomfort. When we are in good health, we can enjoy all the good things in life, in moderation, without guilt or shame.
8) Your support system. It can be people at work, at home or spread out all over the country. Knowing there are people who are there for you can make all the difference. They are people who will lift you up and give you whatever you need with only a moment’s notice.
9) The healing power of music. Music has the power to heal and to join people together in peace. The spirit of music is within us all. Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.
10) Laughter. It makes us happy and healthy. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded. Nothing diffuses anger and conflict faster than a shared laugh.
11) Desserts. To live without them is to live in a colorless world. Eating desserts means that you have a good sense of what you want. We feel like we are feeding our soul with food that makes us feel like we’ve finally found Heaven. Desserts make life more enjoyable.
12) Police Officers, Firefighters, and all First Responders. These brave men and women risk their lives daily to save the lives of others. They work long and crazy hours around the clock, and rush to scenes helping complete strangers without thinking twice. They put themselves on the front line of dangerous and traumatic events every day.
13) Love. Love is accepting difference. It is letting each one be who they are without fear of censure. Love is an unselfish, loyal concern for the good of another. It is a wonderful feeling.
14) Good food and Clean Water. Good food gives us the energy we need to survive. Fresh water is one of our most vital resources. The quality of our water is directly linked to the quality of our lives. Without good food and clean water, the body cannot grow or perform at its best, our organs stop working, and the body eventually dies. We are blessed to have the best of both.
15) Money. Money is great because it means that life is not a constant effort at keeping our heads above water. When we have money, we are able to live life to the fullest, enjoy adventures, and make the most out of life.

Thanksgiving Day History – Thanksgiving is a day to spend some time with the people we care about, and to think about what it is that has made us the way we are today. It is a time of year to be thankful for everything we have. There’s something about the warm, coziness of being home with family for the holidays that lifts everyone’s spirit. Thanksgiving is a day filled with the sound of a crackling fire and the smell of a turkey roasting in the oven. But how did it all come about?
Thanksgiving Day History – Celebrating the Pilgrims!
Thanksgiving Day of today is the celebration of the Pilgrim’s meal with the Native Americans on the fourth Thursday of November. It commemorates how newcomers were first welcomed by celebrating the harvest with their Native American neighbors. Originally, it was traditionally celebrated on the last Thursday of November in the early 1800’s, but left up to the individual states to decide when each would celebrate. In 1863, President Lincoln issued a proclamation that all states will celebrate Thanksgiving on the same day. This act was an effort to unite the North and the South, but due to the rebellion of the North’s authority, the holiday was not consistently celebrated on the same day until after Reconstruction. A joint resolution was signed by Congress and President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941 to change the holiday to the fourth Thursday of November rather than the last, believing the earlier economic boost to be beneficial to the United States economy.
Thanksgiving Day History – Thanksgiving in Canada!
Canada’s Thanksgiving is very similar to the American celebration, marking the successful harvest of French settlers in modern-day Canada. This celebration takes place in October when the weather is warmer. In 1957, Parliament moved it from November 6 to October, declaring, “A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed—to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October.” Feasting on turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn are common the weekend before. Vacations and parades are also traditional.
Thanksgiving Day History – Thanksgiving in Germany!
Germany celebrates the Harvest Thanksgiving Festival in October, which, like American celebrations, consists of feasting and religious traditions. Their Thanksgiving takes place on the first Sunday of October. Erntedankfest is essentially a harvest festival that gives thanks for a good year and good fortune.
Thanksgiving Day History – Thanksgiving in Japan!
The Japanese observe Labor Thanksgiving Day, which has roots with harvest celebrations but now celebrates labor, production, and thankfulness. Derived from ancient harvest festival rituals named Niinamesai, its modern meaning is more tied to a celebration of hard work and community involvement, hence its translation: Labor Thanksgiving Day. In Japan, Labor Thanksgiving Day is about being thankful for workers who do their job and do it well. Sometimes you literally thank those people — school kids make thank you cards and gifts for municipal workers like police, firefighters, and hospital workers.
Thanksgiving Day History – Thanksgiving in West Africa!
A variation on America’s Thanksgiving can be found in the West African nation of Liberia, which was founded in the 19th century by freed slaves from the U.S. Mainly celebrated by Christians, Liberians take the concept of the cornucopia and fill their churches with baskets of local fruits like bananas, papayas, mangoes, and pineapples. An auction for these is held after the service, and then families retreat to their homes to feast.
Thanksgiving Day History – Thanksgiving in the Netherlands!
The Netherlands observes a Thanksgiving Day service to honor the Pilgrims that lived in Leiden before continuing on to Plymouth. The people of Leiden still celebrate the American settlers who once lived there with a non-denominational church service on the fourth Thursday of November. Afterwards, there’s no turkey, but cookies and coffee are offered.
Thanksgiving in America!
The American tradition is highlighted by the Thanksgiving meal. Turkey is the most common main dish of a Thanksgiving dinner. Ham is often served alongside turkey in many non-traditional households. Delicious, classic recipes are always in style for a Thanksgiving feast. America’s favorite classic side dishes for Thanksgiving are mashed sweet or white potatoes and gravy, stuffing, corn muffins, cranberry sauce, and either a green bean, corn or Brussels sprouts casserole. Desserts include: pumpkin, apple or pecan pie.
Thanksgiving Prayer!
Thank you, Father, for having created us and given us to each other in the human family. Thank you for being with us in all our joys and sorrows, for your comfort in our sadness, your companionship in our loneliness. Thank you for yesterday, today, tomorrow and for the whole of our lives. Thank you for friends, for health and for grace. May we live this and every day conscious of all that has been given to us.
Thanksgiving Gratitude Tree!
A gratitude tree is a fun way to share what Thanksgiving means to each person. You can free-cut the shape of a tree with lots of branches from a brown 12″x12″ sheet of paper, then tape it to your dining room wall or attach it to the refrigerator. Cut out leaf shapes from various fall shades of paper. Let each family member write something for which they are thankful on a leaf and attach to the tree with tape.
Thanksgiving Centerpiece!
A variation could be a Thanksgiving Centerpiece. Cut a branch or two from the yard and put in a vase. Cut leaves from colored construction paper and put a string on each one. Each person takes a leaf or two and writes their name and date on one side and what they are thankful for on the other side, then hang them on the branch that would be in the vase in the center of the table. Leaves can be carried over from year to year as new ones are added. If your celebration includes many, you might want to have a side table for the tree, with cut greens from the yard, pine cones, and a few Christmas ornaments around the bottom.

November 2021 Astrology – From a Full Moon to a New Moon in Scorpio, from a Leonid Meteor Shower to a partial Lunar Eclipse – Observances in November bring us important Days to celebrate!
November 2021 Astrology – November 4th – New Moon in Scorpio!
November 4, 2021 – New Moon in Scorpio – Rainbows shine brightest after a dark storm, so keep that in mind as you navigate the introspective and pensive energy of this New Moon. Instead of distracting yourself with work projects or social plans, focus on listening to your inner voice and connecting with your spiritual side — even if that means spending this lunar moment in solitude. Some time alone will leave you feeling refreshed.
November 2021 Astrology – Numerology and Karma for November!
November 11, 2021 – This day in itself is the most powerful of the whole month in regards to numerology. It is 11/11. This doubles the Karmic power of the master number itself. This number is a wake-up call. It comes into our lives and shakes our world. It forces us to pay attention and most of the time that is exactly what we need. This is an activation number and it will bring forth amplified energies. On November 11th you should expect to feel very charged and a lot of intensity around you. Whether you are using these energies for healing or something else, they will work wonders.
November 17th – Leonid Meteor Shower!
November 17, 2021 – Leonid Meteor Shower – Meteor showers symbolize beauty rising from ashes.
November 2021 Astrology – Powerful Spiritual Energy!
The spiritual significance of meteor showers dates back to ancient times as they have been referenced as gifts and signs from heaven or the bringing of powerful spiritual energy that can be used when you are under one. Many people have lost their connection to spiritual energy, due to placing focus and importance on the material, physical world. When we are consciously aware and open to the energy incoming from the Universe, we have the ability to invoke it, absorb it, and channel it so that our levels of consciousness rise, and also that of our entire planet.
November 19th – Full Moon – Beaver Moon!
November 19, 2021- Full Moon in Scorpio – A Full Moon in Scorpio gives us the chance to hold both collective grief — something that is not only personal, but also our collective inheritance — and the pleasure of being alive at the same time. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Beaver Moon because this was the time of year to set the beaver traps before the swamps and rivers froze. It has also been known as the Frosty Moon and the Hunter’s Moon.
November 2021 Astrology – Do you know what is “Holding You Back?”
During this Full Moon, you have an opportunity to see what’s holding you back. Focus on areas of love, partnership, needs, and desires, and honor where you are in the present. You can make a list of what you want and need, placing it somewhere you can see it. You can even make a list of anything you no longer need, of what’s holding you back, and burn it. It’s sure to feel good. This Moon illuminates whatever it is you need.
Scorpio is symbolic of the lightest light and the darkest dark. You can be anything you want to be, and this Full Moon is encouraging you to transform. Are you ready to shed your snake skin? The Moon governs our emotional world, intuitive instincts, and shadow self, so it’s easy to feel hypersensitive during this time, especially during a fixed water sign like Scorpio.
November 2021 Astrology – Take This Opportunity to Dig Deeper!
What part of you is ready to transform? What have you been refusing to acknowledge? There’s something brewing beneath the surface here, we’re also being guided to ground, and materialize. But before you move forward and solidify something, it’s important to reflect on the revelation that’s taking place. Perhaps there’s something that’s no longer resonating with you at a soul level and as the days go by, it’s become more difficult to ignore. Whatever the case may be, this is an opportunity to dig deeper.
November 19th – Partial Lunar Eclipse!
November 19, 2021 – Partial Lunar Eclipse. A partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth’s partial shadow, or penumbra, and only a portion of it passes through the darkest shadow, or umbra. During this type of eclipse, a part of the Moon will darken as it moves through the Earth’s shadow. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of eastern Russia, Japan, the Pacific Ocean, North America, Mexico, Central America, and parts of western South America.
Eclipses bring about events that are part of the cosmic plan. These are important times for reflection upon your life, whom you need to forgive, or what you need to let go of and move on from. Eclipses are rare because they can only take place when the Sun, the Earth and the Moon are all aligned. They always happen in groups of two or three. A lunar eclipse happens when the Moon and the Sun are on exact opposite sides of Earth. There are four to seven eclipses every calendar year.
November Acts Like a Mirror!
Representing the spiritual warrior, November acts like a mirror, reflecting the truth that the real battle invariably lies with your own self. Now is the time to remain mindful and concentrate on right actions and correct conduct. This month’s energies provide personal protection. Not permitting any escapism, the energies of the Number 11 will not allow you to cover your eyes and deny happenings around you, but will instead call for awakening and action.

Halloween Brings a Change of Seasons!
The word Halloween is derived from the term, “All Hallows Eve,” which occurred on Oct. 31. “All Saints Day” or “All Hallows Day” was the next Day, Nov. 1st. Therefore, Halloween is the eve of All Saints Day. Stories abound that the origin of the holiday began around the time of Christ, but in ancient Ireland and Scotland. At this time of year, the animals were brought into shelters, and crops were harvested. This time of change involved a lot of superstition. This annual change of season and lifestyle was marked by a festival called Samhain, which means ‘end of summer.’
Halloween Recipe – a Celebration of our Imagination!
Halloween is the celebration of our imagination and willingness to dance with our neighbors and friends.
The Jack-O-Lantern comes from Irish folklore about a man named Jack who tricked the devil into climbing a tree. Once the devil was in the tree, Jack carved a cross on the trunk preventing the devil from coming down. The devil then made a deal with Jack not to allow Jack into hell after he died if only Jack would remove the cross from the tree. After Jack died, he couldn’t go to hell; and he couldn’t go to heaven. He was forced to wander around the earth with a single candle to light his way. The candle was placed in a turnip to keep it burning longer. When the Irish came to America in the 1800’s, they adopted the pumpkin instead of the turnip. Along with these traditions, they brought the idea that the black cat was considered by some to be reincarnated spirits who had prophetic abilities.

This fall’s Mercury Retrograde happens from September 27th and continues to October 18th but the energy of this retrograde has been present since September 6th and will continue to be felt (but not intensely) until November 2nd . Mercury is the planet that represents communication of all kinds. When it goes retrograde, the theory is that our communications get thrown out of whack.
Mercury – Messenger to the Gods!
Mercury — named after the Roman deity who served as a messenger to the gods — is the quick-moving planet that governs communication, travel, and technology. It helps us transmit messages by controlling both what we say and how we process what we hear from others. Three or four times per year, Mercury appears to go backward in the sky. While other planets also go retrograde, this particular retrograde has the potential to screw up all things related to communication and transmission. Shakeups aside, when Mercury rests, it gives us time to take a breath.
Mercury Retrograde September 27 to October 18 2021 – A Time when Nothing will be Handled Successfully!
Don’t make any important moves when Mercury is Retrograde. Nothing will be settled successfully for the future during these periods anyway – you will find it nearly impossible to nail down a plan. During a retrograde period, it is hard to get decisions from others. Even if a decision is made, it will be subject to change, either just after Mercury turns to direct motion or much later.
Hold off on signing any contracts or making a big purchase.
Be prepared for traffic and other travel mishaps.
Avoid situations primed for misunderstandings….
Don’t rely on technology.
Delete any texts from a toxic ex.
Refrain from starting anything new.
Mercury Retrograde September 27 to October 18 2021 – Mercury Retrograde and Romantic Relationships!
With communication going haywire, Mercury Retrograde can really mess with romantic relationships, family dynamics, and emotions in general. You may say the wrong thing at the wrong time, send an awkward text, or double-book plans. Throwing a wrench in any aspects of your life can cost dollars and patience, which is why taking time to think carefully during a Mercury Retrograde can be the difference between success and failure.
Mercury Retrograde and Communications!
When Mercury is direct it helps us to speak our truth and communicate it to the world. When Mercury goes retrograde however, this planet gives us the opportunity to assess our truth and how we have been communicating it to the world. This dual process has to exist and happen for us to really understand who we are and how we choose to express or communicate this information. Mercury Retrograde comes with the obvious annoyances but they’re for our growth, despite how frustrating they can feel.
Mercury Retrograde September 27 to October 18 2021 – Mercury Retrograde and Rekindling Relationships!
This is a time to reach out to people you haven’t seen but are thinking of. Don’t be surprised if this happens on its own. If people come into your consciousness, reach out. Just like those projects you need to finish, this is the time to rekindle those relationships you might’ve lost touch with that you care for. If you break up with your significant other, you may find yourself back together again. Unfortunately, things that happen during a Mercury Retrograde just don’t always stick.
Mercury Retrograde Ritual!
A Mercury Retrograde Ritual will help you stay calm during the cosmic chaos! For the ritual, you’ll need: A childhood photo or a toy, an orange candle, and a positive mindset. For the ritual: Light the candle, and hold onto the photo or toy, or both. Close your eyes and think of the things that make you the happiest. Remember the things that made you laugh as a child, and your favorite ways to play. Call upon this innocence, and ask it to guide you throughout your creative process. Meaning: The childhood item or photo, has your energy and essence. The orange candle is a representation of your sacred Chakra, the Chakra associated with creativity and self expression. Together, these two items can help you manifest your unique light.

Dreams are a portal, and the more acquainted we become with this subconscious realm, the more easily we are able to access the full spectrum of our psychic gift.

Then place a large water-filled bowl in front of you, in the middle of a table. This can be done inside or out, with friends or alone. Place a floating candle into the bowl. Ruled by Mercury and with the added element of Earth, September can be a month of pressure, mental tension and feelings of disquiet. It’s time to get around positive, nourishing and encouraging people that have the capacity to support us and add to our state of harmony rather than deplete us and knock us off kilter.
Origins of September!
September comes from the Latin word septem, meaning “seven,” because it was the seventh month of the early Roman calendar. Names for September have been derived from farming activities at this time of year. During Charlemagne’s time and in Switzerland, it was called the “Harvest Month.” Meanwhile the Anglo-Saxons focused on one crop calling it Barley Month. The idea of September representing in gathering and abundance remains to this day. The September Equinox takes place in this month, and certain observances are organized around it. It is the Autumn Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Vernal Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere.
The two zodiac signs associated with the month of September are Virgo and Libra. Virgo (September 1st to the 22 ) is a time to pay attention to small details. Our approach to life should ensure that nothing is left to chance. It is a time to be tender, but your heart might be closed for the outer world. Libra begins on September 23. The Full Moon is also called the “Dying Grass Moon” as it plays into the theme of the changing seasons. At this time of year, crops such as corn, pumpkins, squash, and wild rice are ready for gathering. Most often, the September Full Moon is actually the Harvest Moon, in addition to being named the Dying Grass Moon. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but in some years it occurs in October.
September and the Dreamer!
September is the month for the “Dreamer!” Our ideas are original and ahead of our time. When we are positive and enthusiastic about a project, we have the ability to project this and excite others. We possess depth of vision, but the dreamer side of our nature is compassionate and idealistic. We will learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow. “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” ~Eleanor Roosevelt
September and Connections!
