2020 November – Astrological Events – From Full Moons to New Moons in Scorpio. From a Leonids Meteor Shower to a Lunar Eclipse. Holidays and Observances in November bring us important Days to celebrate!
2020 November 11 and 12 – First Quarter Moon!
The First Quarter Moon on November 11th and 12th will set shortly after midnight leaving dark skies for viewing. Best viewing will be just after midnight from a dark location far away from city lights. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Taurus, but can appear anywhere in the sky. The Moon will appear as though it has been cut into half – this signifies that action is ready to be taken. Use your previous decision making to help you overcome any obstacles in future decision making.
2020 November 15 – New Moon!
November 15 – New Moon. The Moon will located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. Even though it’s very close to being invisible in the sky, a New Moon’s energy brings the start of a new lunar cycle, as well as the beginning of a new personal cycle. True of fire signs, you’re at the forefront of change.
2020 November – Astrological Events – Important Changes!
This New Moon cycle represents an opportunity to rid us of the ‘junk’ in our lives — material and spiritual. We have the chance to make important changes in our lives, as we are learning to dig deeper into the mysteries around us instead of always being content with the status quo. More cautious souls might find you reckless but they are not all that surprised by how often luck is on your side. Change is inevitable, but in November, change will be for the better.
2020 November – Astrological Events – November 30 – Full Beaver Moon!
November 30 – Full Moon. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Beaver Moon because this was the time of year to set the beaver traps before the swamps and rivers froze. The Full Moon of November represents fertility, transformation, completion and abundance.
November 30 – Full Frosty & Full Hunter’s Moon!
This Full Moon has also been known as the Frosty Moon and the Hunter’s Moon. The energy of a Full Moon (influenced by the current Zodiac transit) is heightened and emotions, feelings, mental processes and dreams are all exaggerated. When the Sun and the Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, this can cause tension and uneasy friction, but at the same time a greater increase in your vision and potential likelihood of good things coming your way.

Halloween Full Blue Moon – Full Blue Moons are times for us to exchange energies with others and share in the magic of the Moonlight.
Halloween Full Blue Moon for 2020 – October 31st !
There are usually two months a year that have a Blue Moon, as a Blue Moon is the second Full Moon in a calendar month. The first Full Moon is visible the first of the month. The second Full Moon is expected at the end of that month. Blue-colored moons aren’t predictable. The Moon can turn blue when there’s a certain amount of dust or pollution in the air. The extra dust scatters blue light, making the Moon appear more blue.
Halloween Full Blue Moon – A Volcano Named “Krakatoa”!
There was a time, not long ago, when people saw Blue Moons almost every night. Full Moons, Half Moons, Crescent Moons — they were all blue. The time was 1883, the year an Indonesian volcano named Krakatoa exploded. Plumes of ash rose to the very top of Earth’s atmosphere. And the moon turned blue. The Blue Moon is shrouded in mystery, magic and folklore, perhaps because it only appears once every 2.7 years.
Combine the magical energy of Halloween with the powerful force of the Full Blue Moon, and you get one of the most sacred nights of the century. Regardless of how you see the Blue Moon, take advantage of that extra lunar energy, and see if you can give your magical endeavors a bit of a boost! Step out of your comfort zone and do something you don’t normally do and give yourself permission to do it. This is a time for you to re-examine the rules you live by and whether they are keeping you secure, or holding you back.
The Energy of the Halloween Full Blue Moon!
The Blue Moon has been considered fortunate, something to celebrate, and a perfect time to start a long-term goal or make plans for the future. If we decide to use the energy of a Blue Moon to our advantage we can achieve great things with it. This Blue Moon represents second chances and forgiveness, specifically toward oneself. As it’s rooted in earthly Taurus, it points toward your goals and things you need to accomplish. The Blue Moon gives you a chance to forgive yourself for slacking off but also firmly asserts that you get off your lazy ways and get back on track.
Halloween Full Blue Moon of 2020 Brings Insight and Inspiration!
As the Moon gradually increases in light, towards the manifestation of the Blue Moon, our inner self shines brighter and brighter as we grow spiritually and acquire greater wisdom. The month of the Blue Moon gives us a double dose of insight, intuition and inspiration, which we should share with others that we interact with on a daily basis. During this time, aim to avoid making a drama out of any potential crisis, take a breath and regroup before you decide to act on any drama.
This is the Time for Achieving Your Goals!
Use the energy of this Full Blue Moon toward the achievement of your goals that you have always believed to be unobtainable or just out of your reach. Be willing and able to see the other side of any situation rather than sticking to your own point of view. Surround yourself with people that help to radiate more zen in your life. Try tapping into the Full Blue Moon energy this month and you’ll discover what it takes to make you feel whole, balanced and beautiful – just the way you are.

2020 October Astrological Events! – From two Full Moons, a Star named Spica, to a Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, October 2020 is going to be anything but boring. We will also experience a Rare Halloween Blue Moon that will close out the Month.
2020 October Astrological Events – Full Moon in Aries!
The Full Moon in Aries kicks off the month on October 1st, with Venus in the last degree of Leo and the intensity of the Pluto station looming. The sequence of Full Moons through the year are often assigned names according to the seasons in which they fall. This month’s will be the third to fall in summer 2020 – the Full Harvest Moon. The Sun and Moon are in a partile (same degree) connection with the ever unpredictable planet of Uranus. This connection is with a semi sextile and a quincunx, which means you feel change around you that you can’t quite see what it is. You simply know something is about to happen.
2020 October Astrological Events – Mercury Goes Retrograde!
Mercury goes Retrograde in Scorpio on October 14th to November 3rd. During a Mercury retrograde period, we need to be extremely careful with our language. Triple-check every text, email, and DM, and take the time to carefully explain your intentions. Surviving Mercury retrograde is pretty simple. Remember to proofread everything, choose your words carefully, avoid signing contracts or at least read them very carefully, back up your data, and plan for travel mishaps.
2020 October Astrological Events – Spica, A Star of Fortune!
The Libra New Moon is on Friday the 16th, and is blessed with the alignment of a fortuitous fixed star called Spica, a star of fortune, while it is in difficult contrast, being opposite Mars and square Saturn/Pluto. The message of this New Moon appears to be saying to count your blessings, let go of that which you cannot control, be patient, and be kind and secure within your own inner space — even when others rant and rage against whatever they take exception to.
2020 October Astrological Events – Good Fortunes!
This Star, Spica, is the brightest star in the constellation Virgo, and one of the top 20 overall brightest stars visible to us, so it’s quite well known. The Sun passes north of Spica on October 16th this year. This Star, Spica, isn’t a singleton. It’s actually two stars. Spica A has a mass of about 10 times the Sun’s, while its smaller companion Spica B about six times more massive than the Sun. Spica is 275 light years away from our solar system. This means it takes 275 years for the light emitted from Spica in present time to actually be visible to us on the Earth. What we view today is a 275-year old picture of Spica. Good Fortunes abound during this event.
2020 October Astrological Events – Full Blue Moon!
The month closes out with another Full Moon — a Blue Moon — on Saturday, October 31st, and this one will be full of surprises. Happening in Taurus, this Full Moon is almost exactly conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden change. Anything could happen relating to money or possessions Expect the unexpected. When you look at the Full Moon on Halloween night, it won’t appear blue in color but you’ll be looking at something pretty uncommon. A Full Moon on Halloween only occurs roughly once every 19 years. It’s said that the spirits of the dead wander around during this time in the moonlight.
2020 October – A Time of Higher Consciousness!
The Taurus Full Blue Moon is at 8 degrees of Taurus. One of the good things from a Full Moon in Taurus is that usually, the energy that pulls you more towards what is going on outside your life, is also an energy of self-care and self-love. Taurus is sensuality, sexuality, pleasures, good food, and taking care of your body with a little bit of luxury. This Full Moon is a time that we can tap into our higher consciousness and see life from a different perspective, away from the drama that is unfolding in our lives right now. Make sure to give yourself some love during this time!
2020 October – A Time for Fun!
If we decide to use the energy of a Full Blue Moon to our advantage, we can achieve great things with it. Like a Full Moon on steroids, it will deliver potent results, so it’s up to us to be sure the efforts we make will deliver the results we want! Why not plan something fun for Halloween and don’t shy away from a flashy costume that’ll draw you some attention. This is a time to have fun and get in touch with your will, your drive, and your true self!

The Rust Moon – Scientists have discovered rust on the Moon, something they did not believe was possible!
Rust Moon – Traces of Rust are Found on the Moon!
India’s Lunar Probe, Chandrayaan-1, orbited the Moon in 2008, gathering information that has led to many discoveries over the years – including the discovery of water molecules on its surface. The probe also included a device developed by NASA that can analyze the mineral composition of the Moon. Researchers at NASA just recently analyzed the data and were surprised to find traces of hematite, a form of iron oxide known as rust. Iron-rich rocks are abundant on the Moon – but iron only produces rust when exposed to oxygen and water!
Mars has long been known for its rust. Iron on its surface, combined with water and oxygen from the ancient past, give the Red Planet its hue. But scientists were surprised to find evidence that our airless Moon has rust on it as well. One explanation being considered is that lunar hematite is formed through oxidation of lunar surface iron by the oxygen from the Earth’s upper atmosphere. This has been continuously blown to the lunar surface by solar winds when the Moon is in Earth’s magnetotail during the past several billion years.
Rust Moon – Water Molecules From the Sun?
The Sun always illuminates exactly one-half of the Moon, but we see it at different angles as it rotates around Earth. With the naked eye, we can see only the part of the Moon that the Sun is illuminating. For instance, a Crescent Moon is what we call the Moon when we see only a small portion of its illuminated surface. When the Sun rotates, it sprays charged particles into the solar system. Some of them bombard the Moon’s surface and kick up water molecules that bounce around to new locations.
Rust Moon – The Light of the Moon!
Today, there is an ever-increasing number of people who are connecting with the Moon as part of their spiritual practice. The Moon interacts all the time with the emotional center in one’s consciousness, and with the Sun, which represents the higher Self. The light of the Moon is borrowed from the light of the Sun, just as the light and energy of one’s lower self is borrowed from the higher or spiritual self.
The Moon and Emotions!
It’s believed that the Moon’s cycle can affect the way you feel about things, in particular your emotions. When the Moon is Full or New, both males and females can experience dramatic changes in their moods and behavior. Although the scientific evidence is yet to be gathered, we’ve all heard the evidence of more admissions to hospital emergency rooms and more call-outs for police during the Full Moon.
Smudging for Positive Energy!
Releasing and clearing are powerful practices to employ during the Moon’s cycle. This removes any built up negativity that has accumulated and cleanses the environment, and us, for what we are going to have flowing into our lives in the next Moon cycle. Smudging is a way to energetically cleanse a space to invite positive energy.
Rust Moon – Reflect and Release!
When Smudging, light the end of the sage bundle and blow on it until there is a smoldering glow. Use it around your own body, and in the space of your ritual. Choosing to sit and let go of negative thoughts in a ritual like this sets your intention and dedication to self-improvement. This is the best time to reflect and release positive Karma energy while celebrating the vibrations of the Moon. When you’re finished, extinguish the smudge stick by snuffing it out inside of the shell used to keep the stick safe from harm.

The September 22 – Autumn Equinox brings exciting times for all signs of the Zodiac, and has the ability to reap a sort of “harvest,” whether material, spiritual, or otherwise.
September 22 – Autumn Equinox – An Equal Amount of Day and Night!
The Sun will shine directly on the Equator and there will be nearly equal amounts of day and night throughout the world. This is also the first day of fall (Autumnal Equinox) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of spring (Vernal Equinox) in the Southern Hemisphere.
September 22 – Autumn Equinox -Everything is in Balance!
The word “equinox” comes from Latin aequus, meaning “equal,” and nox, “night.” On the Equinox, day and night are roughly equal in length. On the day of the Equinox, everything is in balance. There is no you and me, or this and that, instead there is just one. One planet, one world, and even one soul. Let go of self-imposed limitations, doubts, and fears, and allow yourself to imagine being truly connected to your true power, light, and ability to create blessings, joy, and love in your life.
September 22 – Autumn Equinox -Reflections of the Universe!
We are a reflection of the Universe that surrounds us, what takes place outside of us, also takes place within us. This means that those who long for the light must first face the darkness within themselves. Use this time of Universal Balance to reflect on what has not worked for you and what has. It is a time to hold gratitude in your heart for the life lessons that have helped you grow, and let go of everything else.
Equinox Brings Strong Attractions!
This Equinox is a time of feeling intellectually, emotionally and physically attracted to others, completely out of the blue and with no warning whatsoever. Take inventory of where you have been in your life, and where you are going. You are supported now in breaking free from any remaining chains that have hindered or blocked your growth. It is a brief time of attraction. It brings with it a slower change of pace, so tread carefully.
September 22 – Autumn Equinox – Brings Flirtations!
As soon as the September Autumn Equinox takes place, you might find yourself becoming more concerned about spending the season with your own special someone, as others seek your attention. People suddenly start becoming more flirtatious, romantic, and fascinated by you. You recognize that it’s your ability to listen that makes you particularly appealing and alluring. To truly attract others to you, make a real effort to be kind.
September 22 – Autumn Equinox – Brings a Time to Pause and Reflect!
One of the reasons we feel overwhelmed, and continue to stay stuck in the patterns of overworking, and burning out, is because we don’t pause long enough to really understand what has happened. When you don’t truly get what you have already done or become, you just keep pressuring yourself to do and be more. But when you pause to reflect on what has occurred, you stop making your choices from a place of stress.
To celebrate the Equinox, bring woodsy vibes into your home! Tucking tea lights in amongst pine cones and logs gives your home a cozy Autumnal glow. On the day of the Equinox, sit in meditation for a moment by your candles, while feeling appreciation for the inhale and exhale of your breath… The weight and the lightness in your body… The warmth and the coolness around you… Feel all things contrary and opposite occurring at the same time. Give thanks for the sensations, for the season, for the opportunity to experience another turning of the Earth.

September 2 – 2020 – Full Moon – There’s a Full Corn Moon on it’s way. This September Full Moon will rise late-night on September 1st and appear in its full glory on September 2nd. It will be taking place in the dreamy and emotional realm of Pisces, located within the Constellation of Aquarius.
September 2 – 2020 – Full Moon may have you Drifting and Dreaming!
This Full Moon in Pisces may find you drifting and dreaming. These Full Moon vibrations could have you more concerned with the thoughts that are dancing through your head than the realities of everyday life. Realistic daydreams show us what might actually be possible for our lives. Also, fantasy-based daydreaming gives people the pleasant experience of enjoying a mental reward without any effort. It’s always important to have a balance.
September 2 – 2020 – Full Moon and Insecurities!
A Full Moon in Pisces can give you feelings of sensitivity. But you are also experiencing insecurities, of being passive, and you are just waiting to see what happens next in your life. When your only goal is to make it through another day or make it to the weekend, that is a massive portion of your life that you are throwing away. Walking, jogging, hiking and bike riding outdoors are all important forms of physical activity, and are important for your mental health as well as physical.
September 2 – 2020 – Full Moon and our Sixth Sense!
A Full Moon is the phase of the Moon when we tend to be incredibly sensitive people that have been gifted with a sharp intuition. Our sixth sense is so strong at this time that we often display psychic abilities, and are prone to having prophetic dreams and picking up on things around us that others might miss. Dreams are a portal, and the more acquainted we become with this subconscious realm, the more easily we are able to access the full spectrum of our psychic gift.
Constellation of Aquarius!
Although the September 2nd Full Moon is in the Sign of Pisces, it lies within the Constellation of Aquarius. Aquarius is a bit rebellious, so when the Moon is in this sign you may feel an urge to make a break with the past. Be careful to not cut your losses too soon, or plunge into new things before you’ve fully investigated them. Despite feeling confused, relax as everything is going to work out fine.
This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the “Full Corn Moon” because the corn is harvested around this time of year. The astronomical seasons do not match up with the lunar month. Therefore, the month of the Full Corn or Harvest Moon varies. Usually, it occurs in September.
The Full Harvest Moon!
This Full Moon is also known as the Harvest Moon. The Harvest Moon is the Full Moon that occurs closest to the September (or Harvest) Equinox. Farmers can work late into the night by the light of this Moon. Normally, the Full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the Moon seems to rise at nearly the same time. This phase of the Moon is the most active of the Moon cycles and typically brings with it increased stamina and evening energy.
September 2 – 2020 – Full Moon – Create a Sacred Space!
Create a sacred space with candles and sage smudging. Burn sage in a safe bowl and use a feather to fan the sacred smoke. Then place a large water-filled bowl in front of you, in the middle of a table. This can be done inside or out, with friends or alone. Place a floating candle into the bowl. Declare what you want to release under this Moon. Allow the candle to keep burning in the bowl as a symbol of the letting-go process.
Things to Release!
Fear of change, Grief, Shame, Releasing a job, Ending a relationship and the energy attached to it, Belief that you’re not good enough, Comparing yourself to others, Worrying about money, Clinging onto things, Fear of success, Letting go of the need for approval from others, Fear of criticism and judgment, Old beliefs that are no longer serving you.

August 11 12 – Perseids Meteor Shower – The annual Perseids Meteor Shower is one of the most beloved meteor showers of the year, especially in the Northern Hemisphere, where the shower peaks on the warm summer nights of August 11th and 12th.
August Perseids Meteor Shower of 2020!
The Perseids is one of the best meteor showers to observe, producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by comet Swift-Tuttle, which was discovered in 1862. The Perseids are famous for producing a large number of bright meteors. The shower runs annually from July 17 to August 24. It peaks this year on the night of the 11th, 12th, and the morning of the 13th.
August 11 12 – Perseids Meteor Shower give a Good Show!
The Second Quarter Moon will block out some of the fainter meteors this year, but the Perseids are so bright and numerous that it should still be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Perseus, and can appear anywhere in the sky. Meteors in annual showers – which come from streams of debris left behind in space by comets – typically lasts weeks, not days. Perseid Meteors have been streaking across our skies since around July 17th.
Perseids are the “Old Faithful” of Meteor Showers!
The Perseids are the “Old Faithful” of meteor showers. That’s worth remembering, even if a Last-Quarter Moon interferes somewhat with this beloved meteor display at peak activity, which is expected on the morning of Aug. 12th. Otherwise, an observer might witness more than a meteor a minute in a clear, dark sky.
August 11 12 – Perseids Meteor Shower – Perseids are Shooting Stars!
Most of these “shooting stars” would be identifiable as Perseids because their paths, extended backward along the line of flight, would intersect near a point in northern Perseus. Better viewing conditions will come a few mornings after the 12th, when predawn skies are darker, but the shower will be much diminished by then.
Perseids Meteor Shower Represents Beauty Rising from the Ashes!
Meteor showers symbolize beauty rising from the ashes. Meteor showers represent the spiritual insights and wisdom gained from looking deep within the shadows of ourselves and our world. They also invite us to create new ideas and beliefs. They’re like little bursts of “aha”moments. You love your independence, and this Perseid period will be bringing that to the forefront of your consciousness.
August 11 12 – Perseids Meteor Shower Brings Positive Changes!
There are a number of positive changes that often occur after this amazing meteor shower. It’s a time when you’re likely to be inspired to find an innovative solution to a troubling problem. Even though you may have been muddling along not knowing whether to change careers, make a commitment to a new relationship or move to a new city, suddenly your vision as to what to do is clear.
Honor the Abundance of this Season!
Activate your night owl or early bird and go star gazing before dawn on Tuesday and Wednesday. There is nothing like the twinkling star light to communicate an expanded perspective to our psyche. Blend up a blueberry smoothie or make blueberry pancakes to honor the abundance of the season!

August 3 2020 – Full Sturgeon Moon occurs on Monday, but the Moon will appear full the night before and after its peak to the casual stargazer.
Full Sturgeon Moon of August!
The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Sturgeon Moon because the large sturgeon fish of the Great Lakes and other major lakes were more easily caught at this time of year.
August 3 2020 – Full Sturgeon Moon – Full Green Corn Moon of August!
This Moon has also been known as the “Green Corn Moon” and the “Grain Moon.” “Fruit Moon,” and “Barley Moon,” are also names of the August Full Moon as they are all inspired by various crops that can be harvested in August. The Green Corn Ceremony was typically held in late June or early July, and the Mature Green Corn Ceremony would take place 45 days later, according to Cherokee.org.
Full Barley Moon of August!
Europeans called this Full Moon, as the end of Summer approaches, the “Barley Moon,” for the harvesting and threshing of the barley. This is a good month to focus on your spiritual and physical health. It’s the time to harvest what you can now to put aside for later use.
August 3 2020 – Full Sturgeon Moon – Full Fruit Moon of August!
This Moon is also known as the “Fruit Moon” because this is the time of year when the apples, plums, peaches, grapes and berries are at their ripest and heavy with juice. Just as the fruit turns to it’s most saturated hue so will the sky begin to arrest us with displays of opulent color, signaling the days turning shorter. Even as we enjoy nature’s visual display coupled with a perfectly ripe piece of fruit in the warm summer night, other perfectly ripe fruit is falling onto the ground uneaten and beginning to decay, representing the many stages of life.
Connect with what Brings you Joy!
During this Full Moon of August, take the advice of Native Americans and connect with what brings you joy and share that with others. Don’t overthink; just find pleasure in your ability to be you. Your focus will be to balance your mind and body through creativity, through play, and through movement.
The August 3 2020 – Full Sturgeon Moon is A Time of Crazy Emotions!
The Full Moon represents our emotional body and subconscious. The part of us that we typically keep hidden or buried under our social personality. During the time of a Full Moon, all of that comes to the surface, asking to be seen. This is why we feel extra emotional, or as some say, the crazy comes out.
By the evening of the Full Moon, as evening twilight ends, Venus will be near its brightest but will be setting in the west-southwest, Jupiter will have regained its customary position as the second brightest planet in the sky, appearing in the southwest about 12 degrees above the horizon.
A Time of Potential Possibilities!
The energy of the Full Moon is heightened at this time, and emotions, feelings, mental processes, dreams etc. are all amplified. When the Sun and Moon oppose each other during a Full Moon, it can cause tension and awkward friction, but at the same time, bring a greater expansion of visions and potential possibilities. This is a compelling time of gratitude, gracefully acknowledging the beauty of life itself, and all you have brought into existence.
God Bless the Moon!
Once you start looking up and observing the Full Moon, you’ll want to get outside more and more to get a better view. This is a wonderful time to enjoy the fresh air and gain perspective. Remember how tiny you are—how your small, significant life is connected to all others. Recite the words to that ancient lullaby: “I see the Moon and the Moon sees me, God bless the Moon and God bless me.”

The July 28 and 29 2020 – Delta Aquariids Meteor Shower, can light up night skies from dusk to dawn, and if you’re lucky, you might be able to catch a glimpse.
July 28 and 29 2020 – Delta Aquariids Meteor Shower!
The Delta Aquariids is a meteor shower that can produce up to 20 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by comets Marsden and Kracht. The shower runs annually from July 12 to August 23. It peaks this year on the night of the 28th and morning of the 29th.
Delta Aquariids Viewing on July 28 and July 29!
For the Delta Aquariids, as for most meteor showers, the best viewing hours are after midnight and before dawn for all time zones around the world. About 5% to 10% of the Delta Aquariid meteors leave persistent trains, glowing ionized gas trails that last a second or two after the meteor has passed. The numbers of random, or sporadic meteors will vary from season to season, due to the tilt of the Earth on its axis.
A Falling or Shooting Star!
A “falling star” or a “shooting star” has nothing at all to do with a star! These amazing streaks of light you can sometimes see in the night sky are caused by tiny bits of dust and rock, that we know as meteoroids falling into the Earth’s atmosphere and burning up. That is why Meteors are often called falling stars or shooting stars.
July 28 and 29 2020 – Delta Aquariids Meteor Shower Visibility!
The Delta Aquariids are active beginning in mid-July and are visible until late-August. Meteors come from leftover comet particles and bits from broken asteroids. Every year the Earth passes through these debris trails, which allows the bits to collide with our atmosphere where they disintegrate to create fiery and colorful streaks in the sky.
The Constellation Aquarius and the July 28 and 29 2020 – Delta Aquariids Meteor Shower!
The name of a star, Delta, is part of this shower’s name in order to help distinguish it from another meteor shower, the Eta Aquariids, which peaked in May. Delta Aquariid meteors appear to radiate from the constellation Aquarius the Water Bearer, which, as viewed from the Northern Hemisphere, arcs across the southern sky.
Brings Stronger Relationships during the July 28 and 29 2020 – Delta Aquariids Meteor Shower!
This Delta Aquariid meteor shower opens a pathway to hope and guidance in building stronger relationships with others. When you are uncertain of what to do, listen to your gut. You can’t change how others feel about you, but you don’t have to let them make you feel insecure about yourself. Take this time to listen to the wisdom the Universe is offering you. Meditate, journal or just watch.

July 20 2020 – New Moon for July!
The New Moon for July is in Cancer and will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will be only slightly visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is very little moonlight to interfere.
This New Moon of July will appear as no more than a thin crescent. This is our time for new beginnings. The New Moon’s purifying energy is there to aid us in our reflection on what has transpired and what is to come in our life’s journey. During a New Moon, it’s always a good idea to write down your intentions for the upcoming month and ask the Universe for assistance in realizing them.

This New Moon is in Cancer, which is a cardinal water sign, meaning its energy leads with emotion and empathy, and it is particularly associated with home, family, and other intimate matters. With both the Sun and the New Moon here in Cancer, we will have the desire to focus on more sensitive and private matters, keeping feelings close to home and examining our personal foundations.
July 20 2020 – Honor Yourself!
Under this Moon, you are feeling particularly frustrated over not having enough time for yourself. Your relationships are important, so give the people in your life the attention they require during this New Moon, but be sure to honor yourself by maintaining boundaries and communicating your needs.
July 20 2020 – New Moon – Saturn in Opposition!
July also brings Saturn at Opposition. The ringed planet will be at its closest approach to Earth and its face will be fully illuminated by the Sun. It will be brighter than any other time of the year and will be visible all night long. This is the best time to view and photograph Saturn and its moons. A medium-sized or larger telescope will allow you to see Saturn’s rings and a few of its brightest moons.
July 20 2020 – New Moon – Hard Work to Fruition!
This is one of those times when you reap the harvest of past actions. If you have planted good crops in the past then the yield will be rewarding. However, if you have planted on rocky ground, then the crops may fail. Either way you find yourself having to put in the hard work to make things happen. The old failures that you have not handled properly in the past will make your life exceedingly difficult now. But on the bright side, everything that you have handled well will reach a culmination and prove more fruitful than ever before.
July 20 2020 – Changes and New Levels of Understanding!
Marriages, divorces, changes of residences and finances, career or school changes, pregnancies and births are typical changes that occur with a major Saturn transit. It’s never too late to have new levels of understanding of the path you are on. The important thing is to do what you feel is right, so you may feel fulfilled and satisfied. Your life can now have a more real and profound meaning.

July 5 2020 – Full Moon – July’s Full Buck Moon in Capricorn will rise after sunset on the evening of Saturday, July 4, before reaching peak on Sunday, July 5.
July 5 – Full Buck Moon in Capricorn!
The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the “Buck Moon” because the male buck deer would begin to grow their new antlers at this time of year. This moon has also been known as the Thunder Moon and the Hay Moon.
July 5 – Full Thunder Moon, Sturgeon Moon and Hay Moon!
July’s Full Moon is also known as the “Thunder Moon,” thanks to all the storms that roll through, or as the Sturgeon Moon on the Great Lakes when those fish are easiest to catch. Other tribes and early colonists referred to the Full Moon in July as the “Hay Moon.” The “Hay Moon” was a signal to farmers to start storing their hay for winter.
Exuberant Vibes of this July 5 2020 – Full Moon!
This Full Moon is going to bring about interesting encounters in your personal life, as well as fun and stimulating events. The Full Moon of July often casts an exuberant vibe, making it a great time to have a party. This also opens the door for meaningful people to step into your life. But there is a dark side to this Moon.
July 5 2020 – Full Moon Energies Must Match!
A Full Moon has exciting energy, but there is also a dark side we must deal with. Incoming and outgoing energies must match. You can’t expect to receive great energy if the one you give off is terrible. Act on principle. Even if someone has done something wrong to you, don’t retaliate. Let Karma address it.
Good Karma Brings Good Energies!
To forgive is to detach from the anger, bitterness, and frustration you harbor internally. Every person is fighting his or her own battles with Karma energy. The sooner we identify the sources of our unsettled Karma and take action to resolve it, the sooner we experience the miracle of liberation. Do good, even when you’re not expected to. When in doubt, act in ways you would want others to act toward you.
A Penumbral Eclipse!
Like last month, this month’s Full Moon brings with it a Penumbral Eclipse, which occurs when the Moon crosses through the faint outer edge of Earth’s shadow (the penumbra), making part of the Moon appear ever-so-slightly darker than usual. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of North America, South America, the eastern Pacific Ocean, the western Atlantic Ocean, and extreme western Africa.
Dramatic Positive Change!
Lunar Eclipses bring new beginnings, new issues, new situations and new people into our lives. They bring issues in our lives to completion. Our emotional levels are raised and drama is likely. We get a cosmic spiritual push to handle matters in certain areas of life. If we choose to get in touch with our feelings under a Lunar Eclipse and go with the feelings, we will see dramatic positive change.
Healthy Conversations!
Once we’ve learned to understand our emotions, we need to learn what to do with them. Understanding our emotions may lead us to have healthy conversations with loved ones. If we’ve buried our emotions for a long time, it can be very painful to face them. Often it can seem like things are getting worse before we learn to deal with how we feel. Don’t give up before you receive the healing benefits of getting more in tune with yourself!

June 21 2020 New Moon in Cancer brings raw emotions to the surface. Should you need to, allow yourself time for a good cry. Give yourself space to sort through your feelings. But don’t run and hide, instead be brave and look your feelings in the eye.
June 21 2020 New Moon with a Solar Eclipse in Cancer!
The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will be only slightly visible in the night sky. The Moon does not emit its own light, shining instead by reflecting sunlight. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is almost no Moonlight to interfere.
June 21 2020 New Moon’s Gravitational Pull!
The New Moon in Cancer is a time to reconnect with your family and friends. It’s an opportune time to launch new projects at home, both inside and out. Just as the Moon’s gravitational pull creates the tides of the oceans, it also creates more moisture in the soil, which encourages growth for a garden. The Lunar gravity pulls water up, and causes the seeds to swell and burst. This factor creates balanced root and leaf growth.
Start Fresh with the June 21 2020 New Moon!
The New Moon reminds us that you can always start fresh, and that there are infinite possibilities awaiting us at all times – if only we stay open to them. Sometimes starting over means accepting that you’re no longer the person you used to be. You’re no longer attracted by the same things or persons, you’re no longer driven by the same goals.
The June 21 2020 New Moon is also a Solar Eclipse!
The Cancer New Moon is also a Solar Eclipse. An annular Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far away from the Earth to completely cover the Sun. This results in a ring of light around the darkened Moon. The energy of the Eclipse Season can feel intense. Eclipses speed up our evolution and an Eclipse Season often brings us Serendipitous events.
Take this time to become more aware of you comfort zones and what triggers you to run back to them. Accept all your past defeats and victories. Accept all your past mistakes and brilliant decisions. Bad choices happen, and there’s no way to live it again. The past doesn’t really exist, it’s an illusion, just like the future . Look around and accept that the only option you have is to live in the Now!
The June 20 2020 Summer Solstice marks the beginning of the season that contains the utmost bounty, abundance, and beauty. It is a time for you to be more of an observer of your thoughts than the thinker of them. Quiet your mind and spend time in nature reconnecting yourself. This June Summer Solstice can be a very healing time and a very welcoming time, if you let it.
June 20 2020 Summer Solstice!
Solstices happen twice a year – in June and December. The June Solstice happens around June 20, when the Sun is directly overhead the Tropic of Cancer. It is the only day of the year when all locations inside the Arctic Circle experience a continuous period of daylight for 24 hours. Due to atmospheric refraction, however, the midnight sun is visible for a few days before and on the June Solstice from areas as far as 60 miles (97 kilometers) south of the Arctic Circle. As one moves further north of the Arctic Circle, the number of days with the Midnight Sun increases.
June 20 2020 Summer Solstice at the Tropic of Cancer!
Solstice comes from the Latin words sol, meaning Sun and sistere, meaning to come to a stop or stand still. On the day of the June Summer Solstice, the Sun reaches its northernmost position, as seen from the Earth. At that moment, its zenith does not move north or south as during most other days of the year, but it stands still at the Tropic of Cancer. It then reverses its direction and starts moving south again.
June 20 2020 Summer Solstice at Stonehenge!
Celebrations surrounding the June Solstice have a time-honored history. In ancient times, the date of the June Solstice was used to organize calendars and as a marker to figure out when to plant and harvest crops. Traditionally, this time of year was also popular for weddings. Some historians point to the Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England as evidence of the fact that ancient humans used the June Solstice as a way to organize their calendars. Some believe that Stonehenge’s unique stone circle was erected around 2500 BC in order to establish the date of the Summer Solstice.
A Candle Ritual During Solstice!
This ritual is best performed right at the moment the sun rises. If you’re unable to pull yourself out of bed at such an early hour, any time of day will do. All you’ll need is one candle and the willingness to look deeply into your heart. When you wake up, go outside or gaze out your window. Light your candle(s) and take in the sunrise. Appreciate the way the light colors the sky with hues of orange and pink. Allow the morning air to fill your lungs with clarity. Think about everything in the world that you’re grateful for. Think of your family, your friends, your favorite flowers, your favorite books, your favorite things, etc. Hang on to the beauty of this moment. You have so much magic surrounding you.
Disharmony to Acceptance!
We are currently in a time of disharmony. This can cause stress and negativity in your life. Do not dwell on the things that are happening right now. Don’t worry about the things that have already happened. Instead, focus on how you can make adjustments, grow, and make the changes necessary to be ahead of the game. Try to accept people as they are and listen with the intention of finding out new things, to understand, to really see the person in front of you.
Look to Nature for Guidance during the June 20 2020 Summer Solstice!
If we look to nature for guidance, everything is alive and vibrant under the Sun. Soon, the leaves will start to turn brown and we will enter into a new point in the cycle of life and death. Life is forever changing, and nothing ever stays the same. While our time under the rays of the warm Sun is beautiful and bright, eventually we will reach a point where we have expressed ourselves all we can, and the time will come to retreat within. It will begin a time of introspection.

June 18 2020 Mercury Retrograde – Three times a year, it appears as if Mercury is traveling backwards. We refer to these periods as times when Mercury is in retrograde motion, or simply “Mercury Retrograde.” These times in particular were traditionally associated with confusion, delay, and frustration.
June 18 2020 Mercury Retrograde in Cancer!
While in Cancer, Mercury has a tendency to make you take everything personally. Funny, pleasant, and positive interactions make you feel awesome, but arguments or even slightly snarky comments make you feel like you’re hitting rock bottom. Cancer usually hides in its shell when there’s conflict, but the crab has some mighty claws that can come out when provoked.
June 18 2020 Mercury Retrograde – and Its Energy!
Mercury is a flexible planet and its energy can be quite immature at times! It is often observed that Mercury has few morals. It’s not immoral, it’s amoral: it seeks understanding and recognizes connections and possibilities without particularly engaging in the rights and wrongs of those possibilities. Unconscious habits may trip you up now so try to be as self-aware as possible, and be willing to accept responsibility for your role in any interpersonal problems that arise.
Mercury acts erratic when it goes Retrograde, wherever it is placed. Expect annoyances at home with baking, gardening, and household duties under domesticated Cancer. Complete repair projects that weren’t finished or done correctly. While in Cancer, Mercury Retrograde will take us back to the past and make us focus on our childhoods and roots. We can expect old memories to be revived and emotions could even resurface.
June 18 2020 Mercury Retrograde -Healing!
Mercury enters Cancer’s waters on June 18th, and stays until July 12th. This is an excellent period to reconnect with a member of your family, with whom you haven’t been in touch for a long time or to reconcile with someone dear, by reevaluating the situation that caused conflict. This transit period also relates to the body, so take good care of your health during this transit. If you feel tired, rest. If you feel ill, don’t push through but instead do what your body needs to heal.
Mercury is the name given by the ancient Romans to the Greek mythological god, Hermes. Mercury is depicted as a male figure having winged sandals and a winged hat, indicating the ability to travel quickly. He was the official messenger of the ancient gods and goddesses and, as such, governed communications. Mercury was only the messenger of the gods. It wasn’t his job to judge the messages and information that he imparted, only to communicate them.
June 18 2020 Mercury Retrograde – Lavender for Healing!
During this Retrograde, bring out the Essential Oils. Rub a small amount of lavender oil on your pulse points at night. Scent connects and calms the part of our brain that does the stressing out, so using it to keep you calm can be a great strategy. Essential oils are so accessible now. They are highly concentrated, natural extracts from the leaves, flowers, and stems of plants. The most common way to use essential oils is to inhale them, both for their amazing scent and their therapeutic properties. They can also be used in diffusers and humidifiers, and can be diluted with a carrier oil and applied to the skin.

June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon – This June 5th brings a Full Strawberry Moon that is named after the wild strawberries as they start to ripen. June also brings a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on the same date.
The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Strawberry Moon because it signaled the time of year to gather ripening fruit. It also coincides with the peak of the strawberry harvesting season.
June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon- Planting and Strawberry Full Moon!
The Full Moons throughout the year have been given names by various cultures down through the centuries. This Moon has also been known as the Rose Moon, Honey Moon, Mead Moon, Planting Moon and Green Corn Moon. At the time of the June Full Moon, the summer constellations will be in full view all night, but the Moon’s brightness will wash out most fainter stars.
June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon-The Honey Moon!
Mead Moon and Honey Moon are the old European names for June’s Full Moon, and some believe that it may be related to why the first month of marriage is called the honeymoon since at least the 1500’s. This may be because of the practice of getting married in the month of June, or because June’s Honey Moon is considered as the “Sweetest Moon of the Year,” possibly due to the honey being ripe and ready for harvest at the end of the month.
June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon- and the Celtic Calendar!
In many countries with documented ancient Moon traditions, the calendars have since radically changed. In Britain for example, where the original Celtic and Ogham names were generated, the calendar changed from the Julian to Gregorian in 1752 – moving old dates by 10 days – so that old Moon names, still used today – seem sometimes out of kilter with their seasons. The romance of the Moon names is a folk-romance – passed like fairy-tales by word of mouth, and changed to suit the needs and dreams of the peoples, generation by generation.
June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon-The Full Moon’s Spirit of Love!
This month’s Full Moon is traditionally a time of wonder, in which people are encouraged to care for themselves, seek beauty in their surroundings, and, most importantly, incite positive changes in their lives. This is a difficult time for all of us. Try to manifest within your heart and soul the spirit of Love and Light and send it out to the world that is filled with great darkness. Even the tiniest candle can light the darkest room.
June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon- The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius!
Today is also the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius. A penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth’s partial shadow, or Penumbra. During this type of eclipse the Moon will darken slightly but not completely. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Indian Ocean, and Australia.
June 5 2020 Full Strawberry Moon- The Energy of This Transit!
The energy of this Transit will help you work towards your goals, which is necessary to get stability in your life. You will be concerned about your well being during the transit phase, and that introspection will help bring you a much better attitude about life. You will see a surge in your competitive nature and that will help you with your ability to work past your obstacles and towards your goals. When you embrace the energy of an eclipse, it will shape your life and the effects are most often… Positive!

Comet Atlas May 23 2020 is second in brightness only to Venus! It can be observed through binoculars traveling between the constellations known as the Big Dipper and the Giraffe. When this comet reaches its peak, it may be the brightest comet seen from Earth in 20 years.
Comet Atlas May 23 2020 Appears as a Brilliant Emerald!
The gas tail from the Comet Atlas glows from atoms ionized by ultraviolet light and blows straight back (away from the Sun) in the solar wind. That’s because in such a configuration, the tail takes the sunlight from below the horizon and scatters it forward. The top half of the tail remains above the horizon all night, drawing our view downward. As minutes flow by, the tail brightens, overcoming the rising oranges and yellows of dawn until it reaches the brilliant head of the comet, lifting off the horizon. Appearing gray to the human eye at first, the familiar green hue efflorescence into a brilliant emerald.
A Newly-Discovered Comet!
Newly discovered Comet Atlas will be making its closest approach to Earth on May 23rd, at a distance of 72 million miles (116 million kilometers). In the months following this close approach, the comet is expected to brighten. Although comets are extremely difficult to forecast, some astronomers believe that Comet Atlas could brighten to a magnitude of between + 1 and -5. This could potentially make it the second brightest object in the night sky besides the Moon.
Comet Atlas May 23 2020 Could Grow Brighter than Venus!
Although it’s difficult to predict exactly how bright the comet will be by the time it approaches our view, Comet Atlas has shown promise as it continues to increase in brightness over time. If it manages to hold its shape as it moves nearer to the sun, it could grow brighter than Venus. If Comet Atlas keeps its shape while approaching the Sun, we will witness an amazing celestial show. All we can do now is just wait and see.
Comets are Unpredictable!
Comets are at risk of breaking apart as they draw nearer to the Sun, running out of gas and disintegrating from the heat of the star. However, if it does survive the journey, Comet Atlas will hit its peak brightness by the end of May. The Comet, or its fragments, will be visible as it continues to approach the Sun but it may not be a naked-eye spectacle. Comets are unpredictable. Astronomers will be watching with telescopes and binoculars to see if the comet survives its passage by the Sun.
We Could Witness an Amazing Celestial Show!
If Сomet Atlas keeps its shape while approaching the Sun, we will witness an amazing celestial show. It could also disappoint and never become visible to the naked eye. What we do know is that the comet should be visible around twilight on May 23rd. It will then be well placed for observation all night long and will look like a bright, conspicuous, hazy dot. If you have a telescope, you should be rewarded.
Chinese “Hui Xin”!
The Chinese call comets ‘hui xin’. ‘Hui’ is equivalent to ‘wisdom’. Interestingly, in Chinese, it is said “wield the sword of wisdom to cut away the attachment.” Wisdom is like a sword, and comets are obviously a symbol of a treasure sword. From images, symbolization of what we observe in life, it is believed that comets are an implication of the birth of new wisdom.
The Arrival of the Comet Atlas May 23 2020 Signals a Rebirth!
The arrival of a comet signals a rebirth within us, new beginnings from which we can begin the next part of our life journey. Lately, we have experienced a period of upheaval, where we are unsure of all the things we were once so certain of, and most of us will have taken time to evaluate the path we were on. The comet serves as a reminder that all things are in transit, and on their own journey. We cannot forget to keep moving forward on our own. This Comet Atlas shows us that beauty is just around the corner. Be happy!

New Moon May 22 – As the Moon grows in the sky, we too feel our own energy increasing and growing. But don’t be fooled by appearances. The breezy surface of the Gemini New Moon causes deeper work to be churning under the surface of things. Slow down and look again before jumping to conclusions.
New Moon May 22 2020 – Vibrations of the New Moon in Gemini!
At the end of every spring, around May, the Sun and the Moon will both be in the sign of Gemini, during this New Moon. The vibrations of this Moon can have us feeling restless, with plans that are too concrete, and we will have trouble following through. Take a break from these difficult tasks. This is an ideal time to start something new that will allow you room to explore while thinking about what also has to be done. Often New Moons make us feel tired, but not so with Gemini. This New Moon is exceptionally busy and extroverted, bringing solutions to those other pesky tasks.
New Moon May 22 2020 – Mercury Rules Gemini!
The ruler of the sign of Gemini is Mercury, planet of communication, learning and the rational mind. Mercury is placed strongly in his “home” sign of Gemini, close to the New Moon, which makes this particular lunation extra chatty and Gemini – orientated. Your rational mind will help with clear thinking.
New Moon May 22 2020 – New Beginnings!
In astronomy, a New Moon marks the first lunar phase. The original meaning of the term is the first visible crescent of the Moon, which is briefly visible when it’s low above the western horizon just after the Sun has gone down. As a New Moon represents the start of a new lunar cycle, it symbolizes new beginnings are coming your way. Keep an open mind when these new beginnings appear.
Water and Energy During a New Moon!
Because the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon are all perfectly in line, the tides are at their highest and their lowest during both the Full and New Moon. Both of these Moons are the most defining phases of the lunar cycle, and even water (the element that governs your emotions) is transformed by its stunning energy. Walks on the beach are recommended.
New Moon May 22 2020 – and New Things!
At this time, you are likely to find that you are easily engaged in new things, seeking friendships and may become easily bored. You are likely to be very adaptable, and love anything new. You may be an instinctive multi-tasker, and may habitually involve yourself in many tasks at the same time.
People are Important to You!
Like the literal social butterfly, you may find yourself moving from person to person, gathering data, ideas information or facts before moving on to share what you have gained. You need to know about what is going on around you, and will enjoy imparting to others the information they may need to get through the day. Other people are important to you right now, just keep social distancing in mind.
New Moon May 22 2020 – Take Deep Breaths!
Gemini vibrations encourage communication through talking, but there is also communication through listening, nodding heads and through body language. Stay mindful of every conversation you have. This is not the time to embrace mindless chatter or difficult conversations with loved ones. Words have power, so use them wisely. Be patient. Extra patient. Take deep breaths. Remember, this might not be the best of times, but we are in this together and will become even stronger. Better times are ahead.
April 22 2020 Earth Day – This year, Wednesday, April 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, a day celebrated by millions of people across the world.
The First Earth Day was in 1970!
This American holiday had a strong start. More than 20 million Americans celebrated the first Earth Day in 1970. It has since grown, and has been celebrated in more than 192 countries by over one billion civic-minded supporters. Other countries know it as “International Mother Earth Day.” That’s the name it was given by the United Nations in 2009. Here in the states, we still call it plain old Earth Day.
April 22 2020 Earth Day Celebrations!
Earth Day has been celebrated every April 22nd since 1970. The main aim of Earth Day is to raise awareness of the negative impact our actions have on our environment and the Earth as a whole. More than a billion people celebrate Earth Day, and they do it to protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation. By taking part in activities like picking up litter and planting trees, we’re making our world a happier, healthier place to live.
Plant a tree! Close to 15 billion trees in the world are cut down each year, so help offset that loss by planting a tree of your own. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen for people to breathe. This is called Photosynthesis. They also provide shelter and food for animals.
Pick Up Litter on April 22 2020 Earth Day!
Help clean up the planet this Earth Day by spending time picking up litter around your neighborhood, school or local park. Better yet, encourage your friends to pick up in their own areas. Do it as a group project. This will help the planet and you will be spreading the Earth Day goodness around.
April 22 2020 Earth Day and Climate Change!
Each year, the Earth Day theme changes. In 1990, the spotlight was on global mobilization of environmental issues with a strong focus on recycling. In 2000 it was about global warming and clean energy. Then, 2010 marked the world’s largest environmental service project—A Billion Acts of Green—as well as a 250,000 person climate change rally in Washington, D.C. The theme for Earth Day 2020 is climate action, a challenge to take action to reduce climate change.
Help the Environment on April 22 2020 Earth Day and Everyday!
There are several ways we can help the environment.
May 7 2020 Full Moon – is known as the Flower Moon to signify the beauty of the flowers that bloom during this month. There are other names for this Full Moon in May: Corn Planting Moon and Milk Moon from Old English/Anglo-Saxon roots.
May 7 2020 Full Moon, Super Moon, Flower Moon!
A common explanation, published in the Old Farmer’s Almanac, is that Colonial Americans adopted Native American names and incorporated them into the modern calendar. Also, it seems that the Full Moon names we use today also have Anglo-Saxon and Germanic roots.
May 7 2020 Full Moon – Names Connected to the Calendar!
In ancient cultures, the seasonal Moons served as a tool for keeping track of each passing year and setting schedules for growing, harvesting, and hunting food. They gave each Full Moon a name to represent the weather and agriculture of every month. But culturally and historically speaking, the Full Moon has additional meaning that changes from month to month throughout the year, according to their calendar.
May 7 2020 Full Moon and Lunacy!
This is the last of four Super Moons for 2020. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. The Moon will be near its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual. The Full Moon has been associated with lunacy (madness), insomnia, and psychological disturbances – hence the term “lunatic” (which derives from the Latin word ‘lunaticus’ which means moon-struck).
May 7 2020 Full Moon – a Time to Eliminate Negative Emotions!
The Full Moon signals a time each month when we are able to take a clear look at what is happening in our lives, so we can decide if we need to make changes. This is also a good time to sweep out negative emotions away. The Super Moon light of this Moon will be so strong tonight, it will be hard for darkness to stand up in the face of its glory. The Moon illuminates any negative emotions stored in your chakras of your body and reflects that knowledge back to you. It is a time of enlightenment.
May 7 2020 Full Moon and Manifestations!
Tonight, your Manifestation Desires may show up in unexpected ways and ‘look’ different to your original Desires… as your ‘feelings’ create something more beautiful, more Sacred and Divine for your greater purpose on Earth. You may feel guided to allow your Manifestation Desires to be part of your surrender to a force greater than you. Trust that everything will work out the way it is supposed to.
May 7 2020 Full Moon and Spiritual Practices!
As the Moon is connected to spiritual practices, it is very good to meditate on a Full Moon, Super Moon day. It is exceptionally powerful on this Full, Super Flower Moon evening. The Moon has an effect on water and our body is approximately 70% water. Therefore, on the day of Purnima or Full Moon, it is beneficial to do meditation. Try the Full Moon, Super Moon Ritual that is next.
May 7 2020 Full Moon Ritual!
On the evening of the Full Moon, Super Moon, write down everything that you want to call into your life. Hold this list close to your heart and envision them as if they have already happened. The Full Moon will magnify any energy you send out, and help guide it into the welcoming embrace of the Universe. Say a little prayer to whichever higher power you choose, asking them to assist you. Store the paper in a safe, sacred place, and revisit it every couple of weeks and you will be amazed by the things that come to be.
Prayer!
O Lord my God, thank you that you know me and you love me. Your word says that, to those who ask, it will be given, to those who seek, it will be found, and to those who knock, the door will be opened. Please help me to look to you instead of relying on my own strength and trust that you always do what is best for me. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
The Eta Aquarids is considered to be the best meteor shower of the year.
Eta Aquarids are Known for Their Speed!
Eta Aquarid meteors, also known as the Aquarids, are known for their speed, according to NASA. These meteors are fast – traveling at about 148,000 mph into Earth’s atmosphere. Meteors shooting across the sky at such speeds can leave glowing “trains” (bits of debris in the wake of the meteor) that last for several seconds to minutes.
Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower – May 4-5, 2020 – Connected to Haley’s Comet!
The Eta Aquarids is a spectacular shower, capable of producing up to 60 meteors per hour at its peak. Most of the activity is seen in the Southern Hemisphere. In the Northern Hemisphere, the rate can reach about 30 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust particles left behind by comet Halley, which has been known and observed since ancient times.

Meteor showers have a significant astrological significance. There is no question that they are a disruptor of the heavens, and when they pass through, it is a time of inspiration. It is a time in which a problem you have been working on or a decision you have struggled with can be resolved. You can focus on your answer and find it.

Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower – May 4-5, 2020 – Brings a Beautiful Night Time Show!

Be patient—the show will last until dawn, so you have plenty of time to catch a glimpse.
Coronavirus and astrology, karma, auras, horoscopes, etc., is a topic that is getting some attention in the spiritual community. How do major negative events like this effect our energies, and what can we do to bring more positive energy to the situation? Let’s review some core elements to the spiritual world and how we can be a positive force.
A Coronavirus Prayer
Loving God, Your desire is for our wholeness and well being.
We hold in tenderness and prayer the collective suffering of our world at this time.
We grieve precious lives lost and vulnerable lives threatened.
We ache for ourselves and our neighbors, standing before an uncertain future.
We pray: may love, not fear, go viral.
Inspire our leaders to discern and choose wisely, aligned with the common good.
Help us to practice social distancing and reveal to us new and creative ways to come together in spirit and in solidarity.
Call us to profound trust in your faithful presence,
You, the God who does not abandon.
Coronavirus and Astrology – Changing Bad Karma To Good
When we see that the old ways of doing things aren’t benefiting us, we need to modify our behavior and act in a different way. There are, also, many things we do in our life that we know won’t bring results for many years, but we do them anyway. We know that eventually, the results will come. Coronavirus and Astrology / Karma – Bringing Happiness
By seeking to do the right thing in any given situation, we, as well as those around us, will become conditioned for peace and happiness in a very real and concrete sense. Likewise, through negative actions we condition ourselves, as well as those around us, for suffering now and in the future. You can’t control the behavior of others, but your reactions and actions will dictate your path. Understand that the way you treat people is a reflection of how you feel about yourself.
Coronavirus and Astrology – Karma and Others
It’s not just that God said we should love one another. He also created the universe in such a way that, in time, we are sure to learn to do just that. If everything we do has a consequence, if everything we do comes back to us, then surely we will come in time to learn that it is ultimately in our own best interests to put out only what we would want to get back. ~ Marianne Williamson ~
Karma is the result of our own past actions and our own present doings. We ourselves are responsible for our own happiness and misery. We create our own Heaven. We create our own Hell. We are the architects of our own fate.
Situations seem to happen to people, but in reality, they unfold from deeper karmic causes. The universe unfolds to itself, bringing to bear any cause that needs to be included. Don’t take this process personally. The working out of cause and effect is eternal. You are part of this rising and falling that never ends, and only by riding the wave can you ensure that the waves don’t drown you. The ego takes everything personally, leaving no room for higher guidance or purpose. If you can, realize that a cosmic plan is unfolding and appreciate the incredibly woven tapestry for what it is, a design of unparalleled marvel. ― Deepak Chopra, The Book of Secrets: Unlocking the Hidden Dimensions of Your Life.
Coronavirus and Astrology – Being Compassionate
Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant with the weak and wrong. Sometime in your life, you will have been all of these. ~ Siddhartha Gautama
Always treat others the way you would like to be treated. The way you act is a reflection on yourself.Your words or actions can last forever on others. Sometimes it doesn’t feel permanent to you, but to the other person, it could be everlasting. Treat others well, and Karma will take care of the rest.
We all need help. Some of us need more than others. When you do what you can to help someone who needs it, it connects you with another person, at least for a moment, if not for life. When you show kindness, that kindness is passed on, it can multiply and multiply. A simple little thing like a smile can put a smile and warm feeling in someone else’s heart, and make their day a little better. Offer a hug or a helping hand to someone who is sad. It will make you feel good to be compassionate. When we care for or help others while expecting nothing in return, we feel happy to have helped. Compassionate living is not an act of kindness, it is a way of life.
Coronavirus and Astrology – Auras from Negative to Positive
We all have an Aura! Our Aura reflects our current condition. People who are sick or emotionally upset have weak, shadowy Auras, while healthy, happy people have Auras that are strong and bright. To have a strong positive Aura means you have a strong healthy body, well-balanced, psychological and emotional health, and a spiritual maturity and strength. A weak or negative Aura indicates physical illness or disease, conflicted emotions, unresolved psychological issues, any/or limited spiritual development.
The human Aura is both an energy field and a reflection of the subtle life energies within the body. These energies make us what we are, and in turn, are affected by our surroundings and life style. The Aura reflects our health, character, mental activity and emotional state. It may also show disease, often long before the onset of symptoms.
The color of the Aura is impacted by health—both physical and mental—what we are experiencing in the moment, and how we “run” our energy most of the time. Drug use, trauma, prayer, and healing work can all change the substance of the Aura for better or worse. What we spend our time thinking about, viewing, doing, and believing, all have an impact on the quality of our Aura.
When people realize that their Aura is on display and many people are able to see it, they will watch what they think. And they will try to see and improve their own Aura. In the process they will become better and wiser, being able to recognize intentions of other people.
Practice Forgiveness. Not only letting go of the pain in your past but forgiving the person who caused it, can clear the negative energy from your Aura. Instead of focusing on your wounded feelings, and thereby giving power over you to the person who caused you pain, look for the love, beauty, and kindness around you.
Be aware. Recognize when the emotions that you feel belong to someone else. If your spouse is angry, identify that emotion and acknowledge it, but remind yourself that it is their anger, not yours. When someone is trying to bring you down, it’s more a reflection of them as a person, and their relationship with themselves, than of your worth.
Have a shower in the morning and imagine the water washing away all of your negative energy down the drain, and the water filing you with white light and love. Drinking at least one large glass of water upon waking up will help a lot, too. Water is naturally grounding.
Do animals go to heaven? – From time to time, people wonder: Do animals go to heaven? We’ve heard people with great sincerity say, “If my fur baby can’t be with me, then I can’t be there, either.”
Do animals go to heaven? – Our Animals are all About Love!
Placing restrictions on what can or can’t be in heaven is a fruitless exercise, much like debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. No one has brought back a report, and sooner or later we’re all going to find out anyway. God uses animals to help humans learn about love. From our pets, we learn mercy, compassion, patience, and understanding — and we also learn what it means to receive unconditional love.
We’ve been taught in Sunday school that God created all the different species to be Adam’s friends and neighbors in the Garden of Eden. Revelation 21:1 says that heaven is a place where we will enjoy a glorious and perfect version of creation as we already know it! Recently Pope Francis told a young boy whose dog has died that paradise is open to all of God’s creatures.
Do animals go to heaven? – Animals Can Be Fulfillment!
God had literally created the animals
before He had created Adam and Eve. God did this so Adam and Eve
would have everything they would need to be happy and fulfilled in
the new life that He was going to give them. If animals were not
going to be fully enjoyed by Adam and Eve and everyone to follow
after them, then God would have never created them in the first
place.
Do animals go to heaven? – Animals have an Animal Soul!
There is hope that our pets, and all
creatures, will rise again. How and why? The reason you can have
this hope is because from the very beginning of time, in the original
state of holiness (the Garden of Eden) it appears there were animals.
So, even though animals do not have eternal spirits, they are
physical and have what we may call an animal soul. Since heaven is
to be a place of unending joy, perhaps God will feel that it will not
be complete for humans without their pets.
Do animals go to heaven? – Animals and Noah’s Arc!
If God did not think the animals and
living creatures He had created at the beginning were important, He
would have never had Noah put them on the boat to save and preserve
them. For God to go to this extreme length in order to save all of
these living creatures shows us how much God really does love and
care for all of the animals that He has personally created.
Do animals go to heaven? – Animals in Heaven!
We at SecretSerendipity.com believe that God loves and cares for his animals and there is indeed a place for them in heaven. The pets that we had to say goodbye to are alive in heaven right now in their spiritual, perfect bodies and we will see them again.
Lyrids Meteor Shower- The Lyrids are known for their fast and bright meteors. Named after constellation Lyra, the Lyrids are one of the oldest recorded meteor showers.
Lyrids Meteor Shower Is a Beautiful Sight to Behold!
Lyrids can surprise watchers with as many as 100 meteors seen per hour. No matter where you are on Earth, the greatest number of meteors tend to fall during the few hours before dawn.
Meteors are small chucks of debris left
in the wake of certain celestial objects, like asteroids or comets.
When the Earth passes through this trail of material, it scoops up a
number of these pieces which fall into the atmosphere. About a
quarter of Lyrid meteors leave persistent trains. A meteor train is
an ionized gas trail that glows for a few seconds after the meteor
has passed.
Lyrids Meteor Shower- Enhanced by a New Moon!
The Lyrids Meteor Shower is produced by
dust particles left behind by comet C/1861 G1 Thatcher, which was
discovered in 1861. These meteors can sometimes produce bright dust
trails that last for several seconds. The nearly New Moon will ensure
dark skies for what should be a good show this year. Best viewing
will be from a dark location after midnight.
Lyrids Meteor Shower- The Radiant Star Vega and the Harp!
Their radiant—the point in the sky
from which the Lyrids appear to come from—is the constellation
Lyra, the harp. Lyrids appear to particularly radiate out from the
star Vega—Vega is the brightest star within this constellation.
Lyrids Meteor Shower- God Hermes (Mercury)!
Lyra is a magical instrument crafted by the God Hermes (Mercury) himself and gave it to his brother, God of Sun, Arts and Witchcraft Apollo. The Music Played by this instrument was so divine that all creatures would be mesmerized when they heard it.
Source Energy, Manifested from Metaphysical Energy!
Everything that exists within our
Universe has manifested from Source energy, which is also known as
“metaphysical energy.” Since ancient times, any entity lighting
up the skies has held spiritual meaning, as they were believed to be
Divine messengers sent from the cosmos. Every particle of light we
see is made up from photons, which are believed to hold
multi-dimensional energy traveling through space, containing data and
information possibly from millions of years ago.
A time to Voice One’s Wishes!
In ancient times, it was thought that
the gods, overwhelmed with curiosity, would sometimes look at the
Earth from between the spheres, and that in that instant a star or
two might slip through the gap and become visible as a falling or
shooting star. Since the gods were clearly peering down at that very
moment, it was considered an excellent opportunity to voice one’s
wishes with the guarantee that the gods would hear them.
Lyrids Meteor Shower Lights a Path to Guide Us!
Even today, though science has given us rational explanations for the amazing things we see above, we still can’t help but assign mystical and magical qualities to them. And perhaps for good reason. Many believe that cosmic events, like meteor showers, have a strong effect on us. For instance, the Lyrids Meteor Shower is believed to light a path to guide us toward the new direction we may be seeking.
April 8 2020 Full Moon – April’s Full Moon, Super Moon. This Full Moon, Super Moon will begin late in the night of Tuesday, April 7th, and will be in full bloom, Wednesday, February 8th. This Moon is also known as a Full Pink Moon.
April’s Full Pink Moon!
The Moon is in Libra, and will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun. Its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was first known by early Native American tribes as the Full Pink Moon because it marked the appearance of the moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the first spring flowers.
April 8 2020 Full Moon – Full Fish Moon – Sprouting Grass Moon – Growing Moon and Egg Moon!
This Moon has also been known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Growing Moon, and the Egg Moon. Many coastal tribes called it the Full Fish Moon because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn. This is also the third of four Super Moons for 2020. This Moon will be at its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual.
That a Full Moon can make us a bit loony is one of the most prevalent and hard to shake beliefs. The words “lunacy” and “lunatic” stem from the word “Luna” — the name of the ancient Roman Moon Goddess. She had three aspects: Diana in the heavens, Luna on Earth, and Hecate, in the underworld.
April 8 2020 Full Moon – Acting out of Character!
The Moon is connected to our emotional selves. Many of the Full Moon effects on human behavior and emotions are hidden deeply within our subconscious. So when the Moon is full, it emits energy that greatly affects us all personally as well as collectively. Some of these feelings are subtle while others are drastic, and that is why you see many acting out of character.
April 8 2020 Full Moon – Smudging During a Full Moon!
A Full Moon night is an especially potent time for a smudging. Burn a dried sage bundle, keeping a ceramic/fire-safe dish underneath to catch the ashes, and simply waft it around your entire body with a feather. If you feel there is bad energy in your home, Smudge the area. Say aloud, “I release all that no longer serves me for my highest good.”
