Dreams and Nightmares Meanings- Adults and babies alike dream for around two hours per night. Researchers have found that people have several dreams each night, each one lasting for between five to 20 minutes.
Everybody Dreams!
You’re likely to have more vivid dreams if you’ve had some restless nights. You’re also more likely to recall those dreams, too. You usually only dream about faces you’ve already seen in person or on TV, according to Stanford University.
Dreams and Nightmares Meanings- Dreams Resolve Issues!
Dreams are a way for the brain to work
through complex issues and to explore innovative ways to address
situations that we confront during everyday life but are not able to
properly resolve. The occasional nightmare is considered a dream
that’s simply more frightening or upsetting. Nightmares tend to be
caused by stress, anxiety, or sometimes as a reaction to certain
medications.
Dreams and Nightmares Meanings- Dreams and Symbolism!
Dreaming of falling is very common. It
is a symbol of fear in real life. It might suggest that you need to
rethink a choice or consider a new direction in some area of your
life. Dreaming of public nudity might indicate that you feel like a
phony or that you are afraid of revealing your imperfections and
shortcomings. A dream about being trapped in a small space usually
means you’re just not happy with where you are and you want to
change your current situation. Dreaming about a monster or a demon
is only the result of having seen one too many horror films.
Dreams and Eating Before Bedtime!
Eating before bed makes nightmares more
likely, because it increases your metabolism, signaling your brain to
be more active. Confusion, disgust, sadness, and guilt are more
often the driving force behind nightmares than fear, according to
research.
Dreams and Nightmares Meanings- The Positive Side of Dreams!
Like attracts like and when you are
having dreams of joy then you are going to attract and manifest this
in your own life. The feeling of flying in a dream suggests that you
have released yourself from circumstances that have been weighing you
down in waking life.
Keep a Dream Diary!
Keep a dream diary. Keep a pen and paper by your bed and jot down anything you remember about your dreams as soon as you can after trying to replay them.
March 24th New Moon: The New Moon of March 24th, 2020, is symbolic of the second chances you are given. If everything went wrong by the time of the Full Moon, and you made every mistake you could have possibly made, the New Moon gifts you with a clean slate.
March 24th New Moon: Emotional Phase of This New Moon!
The Moon, the Sun, and Earth are all on
the same longitude line, resulting in the Moon’s orbit being
invisible from the Earth. However, just because the Moon cannot be
physically seen at this time, it does not diminish its power. This
phase, the New Moon, can act as catalysts and emotional triggers for
us to embark on new relationships, breakups, and makeups.
Second Chances During this New Moon!
The Moon is so powerful, it is
responsible for moving oceans, the ocean tides and for the growth of
plants, and we as humans are also affected by this powerful energy.
During this New Moon Phase, do the best you can to stay positive.
Guard against all variety of negativity with your mighty will. If
you’re single, New Moons are an ideal time to have (and be admired
by) a crush.
March 24th New Moon: Reflecting During a New Moon!
It’s a good idea to spend some time
reflecting in the days leading up to the New Moon. Knowing exactly
what you want to draw into your life is not always easy. Part of
preparing for the New Moon is making sure you are clear about your
intentions. Intentions and longings stated out loud or written down
on paper, hold power, so please take care in considering those things
that you truly want.
New Moon of Aries!
This New Moon in Aries is a great time
of the month for energy and drive. Aries is the first sign of the
Zodiac, so this sign corresponds to new beginnings. Take the energy
and use it to start something new that excites you, that you’re
enthusiastic about, and that you’ve been dying to get started with.
Aries can be impatient and impulsive. Try to control the energy as
best as you can, and channel it into something productive.
March 24th New Moon: Planting Seeds During a New Moon!
From a gardening perspective, the lunar gravity during the New Moon causes water to rise making it an optimal time to plant seeds. Gardening by the Moon is a growing trend, but the technique isn’t anything new. Gardeners and farmers have been using Moon Phase gardening for ages! Seeds will absorb more water during the Full Moon and the New Moon, when more moisture is pulled to the soil surface. This causes seeds to swell, resulting in greater germination and better-established plants.
March 20th 2020 Equinox – This Equinox is the most natural time to refresh, renew and rejuvenate. We do this to make ourselves happier, more fulfilled, and in control of our lives!
March 20th 2020 Equinox and New Beginnings!
The March Equinox, Spring Equinox, and also known as the Northward Equinox, is the moment in time when the Sun stands directly above the equator and day and night are of approximately equal length. As we begin to see Nature come alive in all of its glorious colors and sweet aromas, it becomes apparent that Spring is the perfect opportunity to think about renewal and new beginnings.
March Equinox Brings Equal Amounts of Day and Night!
The March Equinox is known as the
Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and as the Autumnal Equinox
in the Southern. So, this is the first day of Spring (Vernal Equinox)
in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of Fall (Autumnal
Equinox) in the Southern Hemisphere. The Sun will shine directly on
the Equator and there will be nearly equal amounts of day and night
throughout the world.
March 20th 2020 Equinox – The Yin/Yang Factor!
In ancient times rituals were performed
at the moment of alignment and people would cleanse old energy out as
well as in their homes, temples etc. This is where our tradition of
‘spring cleaning’ came from! Just as the length of day and night
is equal, this time represents our own need for balance of the
yin/yang and male/female energies.
Illuminating of the March Equinox!
Spring is the season which is
associated with new beginnings, cleansing and changes. The
importance of the Spring season is that the daylight will start
increasing, so we will experience more light, referred to as
Illuminating, reminding us that the light will always return to
Earth.
March 20th 2020 Equinox – Brings a Rebirth!
During the Spring March Equinox, we prepare for our re-birth and our awakening from the sleep of Winter. It is a time of renewal, new beginnings of life and growth blooming gloriously and ushering in a renewed sense of energy. Get outside, connect with nature, plant new life, and celebrate light instead of darkness. By doing so you are better equipped to handle whatever the day may hold for you.
March 9th 2020 Full Moon, Super Moon – All of the magnified energy that the Full Moon provides shakes up the usual routine. As emotions sway and strengthen, it is a time of uncertainty, and a time of Lunacy!
March 9th 2020 – Lunar Phase of the Full Moon!
The Full Moon is the Lunar phase when the Moon appears fully illuminated from Earth’s perspective. This takes place when Earth is located directly between the Sun and the Moon. (More exactly, the ecliptic longitudes of the Sun and Moon differ by 180°). This means that the lunar hemisphere facing Earth – the near side –appears as a circular disk (being completely sunlit), while the far side is dark.
March 9th 2020 Full Moon, Super Moon – Road Rage and Crazy Drivers!
This Full Moon is also the second Super Moon of 2020. (The first was on February 9th, the third on April 8th, and the fourth and the last on May 7th). The Full Super Moon will be at its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual. People may react erratically with more road rage and crazy drivers will be everywhere! Full Moons often bring strange weather patterns, and big scandals, too.
March 9th 2020 Full Moon, Super Moon – Full Worm Moon brings Earthworms!
The March Full Moon was known by early
Native American tribes as the Full Worm Moon because this was the
time of year when the ground would begin to soften and the earthworms
would reappear. Other names for this Full Moon were: Wind Moon,
Little Grass Moon, Sore-Eye Moon, Crow Moon, Sap Moon, Lenten Moon,
Chaste Moon, Death Moon and Crust Moon.
Full Moon Brings Weird Behavior!
Most of us seem to be particularly weird and different during the Full Super Moon. Children trend to act more outrageous and hyper. People have reported to be more accident prone during this time, and Seniors have reported feeling more disoriented during a Full Super Moon.
March 9th 2020 Full Moon, Super Moon – Super Full Moons Bring Special Energy!
Super Full Moons have a special energy. They can make people feel really restless, as they are releasing old issues from the past that are coming up to the surface in a big way. Be kind to yourself during these transits, because these luminaries are likely to bring up a lot of heavy stuff, and our sensitive souls are going to be feeling it.
Super Full Moon Brings Spiritual Energy!
March 9th 2020 Full Moon, Super Moon – Full Moon Lunacy
From a higher spiritual perspective, during a Super Full Moon, you might have an intuitive feeling that you are getting some kind of ‘upgrade’ in consciousness, or that something is shifting. So stay aware and see how this energy plays in your life.
A Full Moon is considered to be the strongest of the moon’s phases, the one that has the most influence on us. Scientists claim that the moon has no effect on us. Many of us who have studied and observed the full moon, believe very differently. Many believe that the energy of the moon can be tapped into and can affect us all on its own. The Full Moon of Serendipity occurs in the growing seasons. It is known for its nurturing properties and protective tendencies.
Full Moon mythology has persisted throughout history. Even today the myth continues and sometimes appears in the news as law enforcement has linked Full Moons to aggressive behavior. The positive and negative ions in the atmosphere, which can affect human behavior, are the effects of the Full Moon. An excess of positive ions produces headaches, dizziness, bad behavior and other detrimental effects in people. Negative ions are beneficial, and can improve alertness, and general well being.
Could the Full Moon Lunacy be due to “human tidal waves”? The moon effects the ocean’s tides and humans are largely composed of water, so human tidal waves may cause physical changes in the body. This could be the cause of why things get a little weird on the nights of a full moon. Most people are bewitched by the Full Moon and are convinced it influences the human psyche and the rhythms of nature. Follow us at www.secretserendipity.com as we take our journey to wellness.
A Leap Year is a Lucky Year. The energies are higher and filled with enthusiasm, optimism, compassion and love. It is a great year to search for spiritual wisdom.
Leap Year and Our Calendars!
A Leap Year is essentially a year when we play catch up to see that all is right between our calendars and our seasons. February 29th, or Leap Year Day, is added to the calendar during leap years. This extra day makes the year 366 days long – not 365 days, like a common year.
According to an Irish legend, St. Brigid arranged with St. Patrick to allow women to propose to men every four years. St. Brigid of Kildare bitterly complained to St. Patrick that women had to wait far too long for men to propose. The legend says that St. Patrick decreed the women could propose on this one day in February during the leap year.
To most, February 29th may just feel like an extra day, but if you challenge yourself to open your awareness and think about the deeper rhythm and flow of time in this Universe, you may just be able to tap into a new energy within your own soul. As this leap year day is located in the Astrological sign of Pisces, the energy and essence of Pisces is truly about connecting with our deeper consciousness, emotions and spirituality.
Leap Years are Special Years!
Astrologers also believe Feb. 29 specifically relates to unusual talents and personality traits. They believe people with a Leap Day birthday are also very optimistic yet strong in their beliefs, loyal and have a childhood innocence. Because such years are rarer than normal years, they have become lucky omens. Anything started on this day is sure of success.
Leap Year Day is Extra Special!
Make this day a day with no
responsibilities. What would you do with an extra day and nothing on
your “to do” list? Wake and bake cinnamon rolls or another
breakfast treat to start the day off “deliciously.” Do something
you keep saying you’ll do, but never seem to get it done.
It All Started with the Egyptians!
The traces of the 365 day calendar with a leap year was first invented by the Egyptians in the Egyptian empire. The goal was to make a calendar that copied the solar calendar, allowing them to keep their seasons on the right track.
Julius Caesar Created the New Calendar!
Later after 3,000 years, in 45 BC Julius Caesar then created a 12 month calendar with 365 days based off the Egyptian calendar. But then after he realized that the earth actually has 365.24 days per year rather than 365, he needed a change. So to correct this and make sure our calendar stayed in correct alignment with our seasons, he then declared that an extra day was to be added every 4 years.
Full Moon – Snow Moon – Hunger
Moon – A Time to Heal!
Full Snow Moon!
February 9th brings a Full
Moon. – This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as
the Full Snow Moon because the heaviest snows usually fell during
this time of the year. The Snow Moon name dates back to the Native
Americans during Colonial times when the Moon was a way of tracking
the seasons.
Full Hunger Moon!
Some Native American tribes named this
the Hunger Moon, others called it the Storm Moon. Some tribes
referred to this Full Moon as the Full Hunger Moon. The late winter
lunar cycle was called the Hunger Moon by many different peoples in
many different languages, and always for the same reason. When you
depend on the land where you live for food, and the land has been
frozen for months, you are likely to be hungry.
Sun in Aquarius – Moon in Leo!
It is the time of the Sun in Aquarius
opposite the Moon in Leo. The Sun in Aquarius is a time for
self-expression. Expression of affection builds bridges. It warms
hearts. It can even change lives. When the Moon is moving through
Leo, you will have a stronger desire to let others know how you feel.
You’ll be more apt to tell people that you love them, or express
your appreciation for them. Being honest and vulnerable is about as
brave, beautiful, awe-inspiring, confident, and cool as it gets.
The Gravitational Pull and the Ocean Tides!
During a Full Moon, ocean tides are
higher than usual from an increase in the gravitational pull from the
Moon and Sun. Considering that the body is 80% water, scientist and
astrologers have often thought that similar effects happen in the
body creating almost a “human tidal pull” that can affect brain
function. Also, the Full Moon’s light is being shed on the dark
parts of you, and when you allow yourself to open up, you make space
for deep healing.
Full Moons Affect Sleep!
A recent study conducted under the highly-controlled conditions of a sleep laboratory found that people took five minutes longer to fall asleep on average, and slept for 20 minutes less overall, around a full Moon, compared to during the rest of the month – even when they weren’t exposed to any moonlight!
Full Moon Bathing!
The Full Moon is a great time to ‘Moon
Bathe’ – take a few minutes to sit under the light of the Moon
and Meditate. As you breathe-in allow the Moon to warm your heart.
We are often so busy taking in the energy of world around us that we
forget to take in the energy of the world that lies within us.
Full Moon Reflection!
If nothing else, utilize this Full Moon as an excuse to make time for yourself and to reflect upon the vibes you emanate to the rest of the world. The Full Moon is also a time to be quiet, to find your peace, to let go of some things. Take a deep breath and forgive others who did you wrong. You are actually doing it for yourself. Be kind, and you will always have peace.

deeply and never give up. As one of the healthiest Chinese zodiac
signs, an Oxen year is expected to be a great year with regards to
well-being. Strong and sturdy, the Oxen in 2021 will be able to
endure any minor ailments and handle the stresses of work life every
step of the way. If you really want success and to make a
difference, always be kind, in any situation.
The Year of the Ox – 2021: Relationships and Rough Patches!
Relationships will need a little extra
love and care. Communication will be critical for the year. Do your
best to be diligent and maintain open channels. As communication is
not a strong characteristic of the Oxen, any means to boost your
abilities will be beneficial. Both single and married people, during
the Year of the Oxen, will need to work through this slight rough
patch.

men into an intense trance of love. The Chinese folklore of the

out of each year, but their love was never ending. Morning Glory
seeds are used in Chinese medicine to treat disorders of the lungs,
kidneys and large intestine.
Year of the Ox and Managing Money!
This Year of the Ox is a year of
managing money. During the time of the Oxen, there is more of a need
for money to spend as it’s not a time for cheap things. Therefore, it
is a time to work hard and look to ways of balancing a budget. We
are not satisfied with a small income, we look for multiple income
streams to enhance our buying abilities. Unfortunately, most people
do not like the restrictions that having a budget puts on them.
Budgeting is not about limiting the fun in your life, but opening up
opportunities and money to have more fun.
The Year of the Ox – 2021: One of Stability!
The Ox year, 2021, is when all your preparation, planning, and hard work finally start to pay off. It is not the best year to start new endeavors, but is a great year to enjoy stability.
A Super Moon is a New or Full Moon closely coinciding with perigee, the Moon’s closest point to Earth, in its monthly orbit.
Intensity of a Super Moon!
A Super Moon is at its most intense when it is a Super Full Moon. There are also several Super New Moons each year. Because it’s so close to Earth, a Super Full Moon looks about 16% brighter than an average Full Moon. Super Moons don’t happen every month because the Moon’s orbit changes orientation as the Earth goes around the Sun. There are usually three of each in every calendar year.
In addition to appearing larger and
brighter than normal, a Super Moon can also affect the oceans. Why
are the tides at their strongest around Super Moons? It’s simply
because the Moon is at its closest to Earth, and thus the Earth’s
oceans are feeling the pull of the Moon’s gravity most powerfully.
Expect higher-than-usual tides for a few days, especially following a
Full Super Moon.
How a Super Moon Affects Us!
A Super Moon brings with it an
opportunity for introspection and to go within. It is a time to delve
inside yourself and to work out what you really wish to manifest for
your life. When you sync your energy up to the vibration of the
Moon, not only will you feel more in tune with your emotions, but you
will also be able to vibrate in harmony with your more intuitive
side.
A Time to Heal!
If you have old emotions, or challenges
coming up at this time, breathe your way through. The Divine Light of
the Super Moon shines brightly into all areas of life, illuminating
any darkness, density, or limiting beliefs and patterns still needing
to be released. You’re being given a beautiful opportunity to heal
patterns, uplift your vibration, and align with your inner light.
Don’t let it pass you by.
Our Chakras!
Since emotions are so easily accessible
during this time, it’s the perfect opportunity to acknowledge and
release them. This will help clear your Chakras and allow for the
healing energy of the Super Moon to work its magic. You can do this
by journaling, which is powerful in being able to express your inner
truths and feelings. You can also write out your intentions, make
decisions about what you really want, and fully embrace your truest
self.
Journaling by a Super Moon!
When journaling by a Super Moon, close your eyes and listen, with stillness, to what you need to hear. When you are ready, open your eyes and gather your paper and pen, and then allow the words or images to flow out onto the paper. Write as much or as little as you feel called to. Decorate the page with drawings or symbols, highlight words, make lists, or just write until there is nothing left to write. Put them away for awhile, until you are ready to read them again, and then analyze your thoughts. Be prepared for some very surprising revelations.
February 2020 Astrological Events and Horoscopes – Including information on Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
February Astrology: February 3, Mercury Enters Pisces – Logic and Illusion!
February 3rd, Mercury enters Pisces – Mercury vibrations bring thinking that is intellectual, analytical, and precise, but Pisces’ vibrations are vague, emotional, and that of a daydreamer. Mercury rules the way we think. Since Pisces is a water sign, our decisions are colored more by our emotions than rational thought. Foggy thinking, daydreams, and escapism are the norm at this time. Day-to-day realities confound otherwise clear heads when Mercury, the planet that rules logic, is in Pisces, which governs illusion. When Mercury is in Pisces, we tend to have a dual mind that seems different when involved with the arts, due to the influence of the Pisces vibration, compared to when involved in our everyday reality.
February 7th, Venus enters Aries – When
Venus is in Aries, love begins again with Spring. Passion is the
name of the game when the planet of love and beauty passes through
the sign of the Ram, who is known to be stubborn and enthusiastic
when it comes to life – and living it! Venus in Aries is a time
when we go after what we want boldly, and are more easily frustrated
by anything that stands in our way. Aries is ruled by Mars, planet
of action, libido, and aggression, so Venus in Aries is channeling
more passionate vibes at this time. The combination of these two
energies means things are bound to get downright steamy!
February Astrology: February 9, Full Moon – Snow Moon – A Time to Heal!
February 9th, Full Moon, Snow Moon – This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Snow Moon because the heaviest snows usually fell during this time of the year. Since hunting is difficult, this Moon has also been known by some tribes as the Full Hunger Moon, since the harsh weather made hunting difficult. This is also the first of four Super Moons for 2020. If you have been having a rough year, you should look forward to when you witness a Super Moon. Whenever that happens, you should sit in the open, under the Moon, and let its light reach out to you. The longer you sit under the Moon, the more healing it will do to you.
February 15, Moon at Last Quarter – Power to Heal!
February 15th, Moon at Last Quarter –
This Phase is when the Moon is only half illuminated. When the Moon
is at Last Quarter, we have the best chance of successfully
completing personal development work. This Moon Phase brings us
insight into seeking balance and not to try anything new. This Last
Quarter Moon brings us the strength to release and let go of any
negativity and things we no longer need or are things that are no
longer working. The Last Quarter Moon gives us the energy to take
stock of wise decisions and to abandon bad ones. It is an excellent
time to change a bad habit for you have power at your back.
February Astrology: February 17, Mercury Retrogrades in Pisces – Help from the Universe!
February 17th, Mercury Retrogrades in
Pisces – Mercury retrograde describes an optical illusion during
which the planet only appears to be moving backward from our
viewpoint on Earth. With Mercury retrograding through a fellow water
sign, Pisces, communicating with others may feel as impossible as
having a conversation deep under the sea. Allow Mercury to nudge you
in unusual directions. If you seem to find yourself “back to the
future”, don’t just try to wriggle out of it — look at what the
Universe is trying to show you. What can you learn from this
situation? This is a fantastic time to re-examine, accept and move
on. You will learn an important, positive lesson if you let yourself
be open to it.
February 20, Conjunction of the Moon and Saturn – Think Positively!
February 20th – Conjunction of the
Moon and Saturn – Emotional maturity is the gift (or the opportunity)
of a Saturn-Moon conjunction. Through the processes of emotional
growth, we can gain clarity about our needs as well as the ability to
fulfill them through work and relationships. Our capacity to endure
hard times is exceptional but there may come a time when we simply
laugh in the face of adversity – the hallmark of a well-functioning
Moon-Saturn connection is a dry sense of humor. Tips for a Moon and
Saturn Conjunction: Write down happy memories. Learn to ask for
help. Think positively. Let the barriers down. Allow yourself to
love and be loved. It is a happy time for you.
February Astrology: February 23, New Moon – White Candle for Intent!
February 23rd – New Moon – It is
very difficult to see this New Moon as the side that faces the Earth
is very dimly illuminated. This New Moon in February brings about a
time of calmness and balance, while also bringing energy and
acceptance that anything can be accomplished. Make a fresh start.
Create a New Moon ritual. Set an intention, light a white/silver
candle, imagine new energy moving toward you in joyful, powerful
ways. Spend a few moments breathing in the energy of this new
reality each day, making it more and more tangible. It is a good
time to stay away from crowds and to keep the focus on ourselves.
February 25, Sun Conjunct Mercury in Pisces – Expressing Yourself!
February 25th – Sun (Pisces) conjunct
Mercury (Pisces) The Sun-Mercury conjunction has a good influence on
us because it tends to stabilize a person and give them a more
flexible ability to adapt to the environment. Clear thinking will
help you remove obstacles that hinder your path in life as you will
be able to see them as they really are. You may be more opinionated
at this time and are not likely to hold back on your ideas. Because
you are so likely to be busy expressing yourself, make sure you take
the time to listen.
February Astrology: February 27, Conjunction of the Moon and Venus – Dreams and Moods!
February 27th – Conjunction of the Moon and Venus – In the night’s sky, the pair will be a little too widely separated to fit comfortably within the field of view of a telescope, but will be visible to the naked eye in the morning. Venus, the brilliant “Morning Star,” stands to the left of the Moon at first light of dawn. Venus is associated with love, beauty, well-being and gentleness. The Moon is the Night Star. Therefore, the Moon is associated with dreams, the unconscious, subjectivity, moods, the past, nostalgia, but also with laziness, nonchalance and whims. The Conjunction of these two brings to us, the vibrations of a loving kindness, enabling a reduced stress response, a decrease in inflammation, and an increased ability to empathize with others, including strangers. It will bring you peace.
January 24 New Moon: This January 24th, the New Moon arrives as the Sun and Moon will be aligned, with the Sun and Earth on opposite sides of the Moon. The New Moon is symbolic of the second chance we are given over and over again. If everything went wrong by the time of the Full Moon and we made every mistake we could have possibly made, the New Moon gifts us with a clean slate.
January 24 New Moon – New Moon and a New Path!
New Moons offer the opportunity to forge a new path. This New Moon in Aquarius asks us to get crystal clear about what we want to grow more of in our lives. Knowing exactly what you want to draw into your life is not always easy. Part of preparing for the New Moon is making sure you are clear about your intentions. While fighting for noble causes often appeals to you, this Lunation is more about personal freedom. Standing up for yourself may not always be popular, but this event isn’t about winning others’ approval. It’s about being true to your own needs and your right to be a unique individual. Although personal freedom is important, remember to always be kind.
This New Moon in Aquarius is also in the midpoint between Neptune (the planet of creativity and dreams) and Saturn (the planet of reality), making you think about ways to realistically achieve your dreams. More than any other sign, Aquarius combines creative inspiration with scientific innovation. Not only have you got a vision for the future—at this New Moon, you’ve also got the technical know-how to make it happen! While Aqaurians can sometimes be seen as unfeeling, they are very sensitive — they just reserve their feelings for those things and people that matter.
The energy of the New Moon helps people
grow spiritually as they seek out the Moon’s healing energy. In
this manner, the New Moon is rich with symbolism and it represents a
time of great self-awareness, where hopes and visions for the future
can be manifested. The New Moon’s energy has the power to control
the ebbs and flows of the ocean and can even impact human behaviors.
This is why in astronomy the energy of the New Moon is regarded as
such a highly influential force. This New Moon in Aquarius wants us
to know that it’s safe to let go, of the memories, of the work, of
wishing things were different.
January 24 New Moon – Spiritual Aspects of a New Moon!
The New Moon in January offers us the ability to feel, learn from the past and creatively unlock and express our essence. When it comes to the spiritual aspects of the New Moon, many people participate in New Moon rituals where they may meditate on their personal desires, dreams and intentions. Lighting a candle on this darkest night of the month signifies our desire to bring just a little more light into our lives. This is the time to ask the Universe to shine light on you during this New Moon and all the ones that follow it.
New Moon and Personal Power!
We can’t start finding what we love until we give up any idea of how we are holding ourselves back. This New Moon is a time when we may be feeling the need to find ourselves, to explore, clear, or even heal what we’ve been going through the last few months. To find happiness in life, we have to learn to face our fears and start making changes for the better. It can start with just one little step in the right direction. The New Moon in Aquarius reminds us of how much personal power we actually have when we use it to make things happen. Use it wisely!
RUMI Quote!

orbit passes through particularly dense streams of debris, associated
with comets and asteroids, which have vented particularly large
amounts of solid material to space. Expect to see about 80 meteors
per hour in this Meteor Shower, but there could be as many as 200.
Meteor showers can bring to your life, a combination of chaos and
unpredictability as well as hope and light that guides your path.
They are a sign of unexpected events in your life, so prepare
yourself for change. When you watch every meteor fall, think about
which positive changes you would like to see in your life, then do

is conditioned by the need for an inner transformation to occur. It

evolutionary process that builds new foundations on which to prosper

January 10, 2020 – Full Moon – Native American Indians!
The early Native American Indians did not record time by using the months of the Julian or Gregorian calendar. Many tribes kept track of time by observing the seasons and lunar months, although there was much variability. Native American Indians gave names to each of the Full Moons to keep track of the passing year. The names they gave the Full Moon each month are associated with the entire month until the next Full Moon occurs.
Native American Full Moon names are
related to nature, the seasons, hunting, fishing, and farming. The
Full Moon in January is the Wolf Moon, named after howling wolves,
which may stem from the Anglo-Saxon lunar calendar. The wolf has the
ability to endure the brutality of the cold very well. January’s

and Snow Moon. Other names for the January Moon include: the Cold
Moon and the Great Spirit Moon.
January’s Full Wolf Moon!
The January Full Moon is called the
Wolf Moon. Wolves howl to communicate over long distances both in
North America and in Europe. It is a way of saying “here I am” to
the rest of the pack or “stay away” to intruders. While an
average howl from a single wolf lasts from 3 to 7 seconds, a chorus
by a pack can last from 30 to 120 seconds and longer during the
breeding season in February. So wolves are particularly loud and
vocal in the first months of the year, which is probably why people
associated the month of January with howling wolves. Wolves howl in
the direction of the Moon. They point their faces toward the sky for
better acoustics, because projecting their howl upward carries the
sound farther.
January 10, 2020 – Full Moon – The Full Moon After Yule!
January’s Full Moon is also referred to
as the Moon After Yule. Old Almanacs in England used a series of
poetic names to refer to each Moon of each month, and of the entire
year. This began with the “Moon after Yule”, the name given
to the first Full Moon after the winter solstice, and finished with
the “Moon before Yule”, the last Full Moon before the
following winter solstice. The Full Moon after Yule brings a
rejoicing that, even in the darkest time, the sun is not vanquished.
Sol Invictus — the Unconquered Sun — is seen once again, staining
the horizon with the promise of hope and brilliance.
January’s Old Full Moon!
The Full Moon of January is known to
some as the Old Moon as it is seen amid the cold and deep snows of
midwinter as the wolf packs howled hungrily outside of villages.
This Full Moon is also known as the Moon’s “ashen glow” or
“the old Moon in the new Moon’s arms.” It is where the
gibbous part of the Moon is illuminated slightly by Earth-shine, the
reflected sunlit from the Earth. Thus, the bright crescent New Moon
wraps around and “holds in its arms” its dim gibbous part,
also known as the Old Moon.
January 10, 2020 – Full Moon – The Ice and Snow Full Moon!
The Ice Moon and Snow Moon are other
names of this January Full Moon. It is believed by some tribes that
the the light of the Full Moon of January can heat the upper
atmosphere and evaporate cloud moisture that would ordinarily trap
heat escaping from earth, thus facilitating radiational cooling that
could lead to Winter’s ice, snow and frost. This Full Moon’s symbols
remind us that the colder months are a perfect time to take stock of
the challenges we face and what might be keeping us from reaching
what we want.

several origins. The Anishnaabe tribes of what is now known as the

The reduced light, warmth, and color of winter, leaves lots of people feeling a little more melancholy and tired. Thanksgiving Day History: Thanksgiving is a day to spend some time with the people we care about, and to think about what it is that has made us the way we are today. It is a time of year to be thankful for everything we have. There’s something about the warm, coziness of being home with family for the holidays that lifts everyone’s spirit. Thanksgiving is a day filled with the sound of a crackling fire and the smell of a turkey roasting in the oven. But how did it all come about?
Thanksgiving Day of today is the
celebration of the Pilgrim’s meal with the Native Americans on the
fourth Thursday of November. It commemorates how newcomers were first
welcomed by celebrating the harvest with their Native American
neighbors. Originally, it was traditionally celebrated on the last
Thursday of November in the early 1800’s, but left up to the
individual states to decide when each would celebrate.
Sarah Josepha Hale is a writer known for campaigning for an official date for 40 years through letters to political leaders to get this holiday recognized. Finally in 1863, President Lincoln issued a proclamation that all states will celebrate Thanksgiving on the same day. This act was an effort to unite the North and the South, but due to the rebellion of the North’s authority, the holiday was not consistently celebrated on the same day until after Reconstruction.
A joint resolution was signed by
Congress and President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941 to change the
holiday to the fourth Thursday of November rather than the last,
believing the earlier economic boost to be beneficial to the United
States economy.
Thanksgiving Day History – Canada
Canada’s Thanksgiving is very similar to the American celebration, marking the successful harvest of French settlers in modern-day Canada. This celebration takes place in October when the weather is warmer. In 1957, Parliament moved it from November 6 to October, declaring, “A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed—to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October.” Feasting on turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn are common the weekend before. Vacations and parades are also traditional.
Thanksgiving Day History – Germany
Germany celebrates the Harvest
Thanksgiving Festival in October, which, like American celebrations,
consists of feasting and religious traditions. Their Thanksgiving
takes place on the first Sunday of October. Erntedankfest is
essentially a harvest festival that gives thanks for a good year and
good fortune.
The Japanese observe Labor Thanksgiving Day, which has roots with harvest celebrations but now celebrates labor, production, and thankfulness. Derived from ancient harvest festival rituals named Niinamesai, its modern meaning is more tied to a celebration of hard work and community involvement, hence its translation: Labor Thanksgiving Day.
Thanksgiving Day History – Africa
A variation on America’s Thanksgiving
can be found in the West African nation of Liberia, which was founded
in the 19th century by freed slaves from the U.S. Mainly
celebrated by Christians, Liberians take the concept of the
cornucopia and fill their churches with baskets of local fruits like
bananas, papayas, mangoes, and pineapples. An auction for these is
held after the service, and then families retreat to their homes to
feast.
The Netherlands observes a Thanksgiving
Day service to honor the Pilgrims that lived in Leiden before
continuing on to Plymouth. The people of Leiden still celebrate the
American settlers who once lived there with a non-denominational
church service on the fourth Thursday of November. Afterwards,
there’s no turkey, but cookies and coffee are offered.
Thanksgiving Day in the United States
is a holiday on the fourth Thursday of November. It is a day for
families and friends to get together for a special meal. On this day,
people express gratitude and thankfulness to God for his blessings
and pay their thanks to dear ones for their immense love &
support in their life.
Thanksgiving Day History – Food
The American tradition is highlighted by the Thanksgiving meal. Turkey is the most common main dish of a Thanksgiving dinner. Ham is often served alongside turkey in many non-traditional households. Delicious, classic recipes are always in style for a Thanksgiving feast. America’s favorite classic side dishes for Thanksgiving are mashed sweet or white potatoes and gravy, stuffing, corn muffins, cranberry sauce, and either a green bean, corn or Brussels sprouts casserole. Desserts include: pumpkin, apple or pecan pie.
Prayer of Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Father, for having created
us and given us to each other in the human family. Thank you for
being with us in all our joys and sorrows, for your comfort in our
sadness, your companionship in our loneliness. Thank you for
yesterday, today, tomorrow and for the whole of our lives. Thank you
for friends, for health and for grace. May we live this and every day
conscious of all that has been given to us.
Create a Gratitude Tree!
A gratitude tree is a fun way to share what Thanksgiving means to each person. You can free-cut the shape of a tree with lots of branches from a brown 12″x12″ sheet of paper, then tape it to your dining room wall or attach it to the refrigerator. Cut out leaf shapes from various fall shades of paper. Let each family member write something for which they are thankful on a leaf and attach to the tree with tape.
Thanksgiving Day History – The Centerpiece
A variation could be a Thanksgiving Centerpiece. Cut a branch or two from the yard and put in a vase. Cut leaves from colored construction paper and put a string on each one. Each person takes a leaf or two and writes their name and date on one side and what they are thankful for on the other side, then hang them on the branch that would be in the vase in the center of the table. Leaves can be carried over from year to year as new ones are added. If your celebration includes many, you might want to have a side table for the tree, with cut greens from the yard, pine cones, and a few Christmas ornaments around the bottom.
Thanksgiving is the Day for giving Thanks. Here is a list of our Top 15 Reasons for which we are Thankful!
1) Freedom Despite frustration with
politics. I’m thankful to be living in the U.S. I’m very thankful
for the men and women — and their families — serving in our
military.
2) Friends and family. I’m thankful
for new relationships and connections this past year — both online
and right here at home. Of course, I love my long-time friendships as
well.
story time with grandpa
3) Healthy Children. Children from
families who eat together on a regular basis are more likely to have
family support, positive peer influences, and positive role models.
The world of tomorrow will inherit the children of today.
4) Nature. I’m thankful for the
beautiful world around me — for the changing seasons, the brilliant
colors, the promise of coming spring.
5) Finding money in your pocket. Money
that hasn’t been budgeted for, remembered, or owed. It is
disposable income in the truest sense of the phrase.
6) A pet. Having a pet helps you stay
connected to life. They are great companions and the perfect best
friend. They are always around when you need them and provide
constant and loving companionship. They ask for very little in
return, they just want to be where you are.
7) Your health, even on days when it
isn’t perfect. Being healthy means that your body is functioning as
it should, without pain or discomfort. When we are in good health, we
can enjoy all the good things in life, in moderation, without guilt
or shame.
8) Your support system. It can be
people at work, at home or spread out all over the country. Knowing
there are people who are there for you can make all the difference.
They are people who will lift you up and give you whatever you need
with only a moment’s notice.
9) The healing power of music. Music
has the power to heal and to join people together in peace. The
spirit of music is within us all. Music expresses that which cannot
be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.
10) Laughter. It makes us happy and
healthy. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to
others, and keeps you grounded. Nothing diffuses anger and conflict
faster than a shared laugh.
11) Desserts. To live without them is
to live in a colorless world. Eating desserts means that you have a
good sense of what you want. We feel like we are feeding our soul
with food that makes us feel like we’ve finally found Heaven.
Desserts make life more enjoyable.
12) Police Officers, Firefighters, and
all First Responders. These brave men and women risk their lives
daily to save the lives of others. They work long and crazy hours
around the clock, and rush to scenes helping complete strangers
without thinking twice. They put themselves on the front line of
dangerous and traumatic events every day.
13) Love. Love is accepting difference.
It is letting each one be who they are without fear of censure. Love
is an unselfish, loyal concern for the good of another. It is a
wonderful feeling.
14) Good food and Clean Water. Good
food gives us the energy we need to survive. Fresh water is one of
our most vital resources. The quality of our water is directly linked
to the quality of our lives. Without good food and clean water, the
body cannot grow or perform at its best, our organs stop working, and
the body eventually dies. We are blessed to have the best of both.
15) Money. Money is great because it
means that life is not a constant effort at keeping our heads above
water. When we have money, we are able to live life to the fullest,
enjoy adventures, and make the most out of life.

What is a Tarot Card Reading? For anyone unfamiliar with the concept, Tarot Card Reading is a practice that calls upon a special deck of cards in order to provide guidance and wisdom to anyone in need. Tarot is one of the oldest forms of fortune telling known to man.
Tarot Cards for Advice!
You don’t have to be someone who
believes in Tarot to benefit from a reading. Usually the cards will
make a believer out of you. Tarot Cards can be a huge source of
advice and help. They can also be a great way to explore a variety of
creative thinking processes, which provide practical answers that
make you think in a way you never thought possible before. Every card
you pull and every piece of advice you get in a Tarot reading is
subject to change, and ultimately, that change is up to you.
Challenges and Choices!
A reading will generally explain your
situation and offer advice as to a possible outcome. You may also be
offered information about challenges, and choices, that you may
choose to make. Many readings are basically telling the person what
they already know. And that’s how you know they are accurate, they
make sense. The guidance provided by the Tarot Cards has stood the
test of time. As with any tool, the Tarot needs to be used
responsibly. The cards themselves are not good or evil—it’s how
you use them that creates a positive or negative experience.
Tarot Cards for Guidance!
Most people become curious about Tarot
readings when they are faced with great uncertainty in their lives.
When the cards are used correctly, they prove to be a formidable tool
to help a person consider other perspectives and move forward in the
best way possible. By asking a question and pulling a few cards, we
can receive the Tarot feedback and guidance in a way that we can’t
access through our intellect alone. Tarot is largely based on
energies. Energies that flow through and out. So, many times a
situation may come when the cards will tell you things which you
might have not asked for. So, don’t bother yourself with the extra
information. Instead, be aware of it so that you know what is going
for, and against you.
A Spiritual Connection!
Often, Tarot Cards have been called the
Divine instrument that provides spiritual guidance and assistance. As
a human we don’t have the capacity to connect directly with the
Supreme, so Tarot cards work as a medium between us. They helps us by
connecting with our Supreme God and provide us the assistance needed
to recognize the path that we need to be on. Tarot cards show the
journey of our soul from beginning to completion. Tarot, like
Astrology, is laden with symbolism. Symbol meanings are subject to
your own perception. To clarify, if a symbol means something specific
to you, then this is the meaning you should assign to that symbol in
a Tarot Card that you have received from the deck at Secret
Serendipity.
A Clear Vision is Possible!
Reading your chosen Tarot cards helps
you understand what’s happening now, what path you’re heading
down, and what challenges and opportunities you may encounter along
the way. If the cards show an outcome that is not what you want, then
you can take action now to change your future. Tarot Card reading is
not Astrology. It is not based on any formula or planetary alignments
and their respective roles in our lives. Tarot is like art, with
different faces, forms and meanings. Try to listen to what the cards
are telling you. Sometimes, a lot is said when you are in tune with
your cards.

The Man in the Moon
It was a lovely evening. Night was out hunting on her black steed, and the long cloud mane fluttered on the wind. I stood at my window watching the Moon. Is there really a “Man in the Moon?”… When I was little they told me that the Moon was a fruit, and that when it was ripe, it was picked and laid away, amid a vast collection of old Full Moons, in a great bureau, which stood at the end of the world, where it is nailed up with boards. ~Heinrich Heine, “The Hartz Journey” (1824), Pictures of Travel, translated from German by Charles Godfrey Leland, 1855 ~
What is a new moon?
A new moon is the name of the first lunar phase, at a point where the Moon and Sun have the same ecliptic longitude.
How many new moons are there annually?
Most years have 12 New Moons, 1 each month. But, the calendar that we use is not exactly in step with astrology, so some years have an extra new moon.
During the phase of a New Moon, the
lunar disk is almost completely invisible to the naked eye until
daybreak when it will appear as a tiny little crescent, which will
get bigger and bigger, day by day.
Energy of a New Moon!
The New Moon has the energy to cause change to the human body and our mental health. This happens as the Moon’s energy has the power to control the ebbs and flows of the ocean and can even impact human behaviors. We’re mostly made of water so it’s no surprise that we are also affected by the gravitational pull of the Moon. This is why, in Astronomy, the energy of the New Moon is regarded as such a highly-influential force. The energy of the New Moon helps people grow spiritually as they seek out the Moon’s healing energy. This New Moon phase represents a fresh start for those who welcome it as an opportunity to celebrate new beginnings, to embark on life transitions, and to obtain spiritual healing from this Moon’s massive positive energy.
December 26, 2019 – New Moon in Capricorn – Finding Balance in Nature!
A Capricorn New Moon has us
appreciating all the good in the world, and the importance of staying
close to Nature, which is an epic challenge in today’s world. If
you’re overwhelmed, go out into the forest, or lie in the park, on a
nice blanket on the ground. Try earthing, which is basically going
barefoot. You find balance when you listen to your body and follow
your instincts about what is authentic. Being an earth sign Moon, we
have intense feelings for physical contact, so seek out a friend and
try to unwind and enjoy this Moon.
December 26, 2019 – New Moon in Capricorn – Refresh Your Dreams!
This New Moon in Capricorn marks the
start of a new Lunar cycle, as well as the start of a new personal
cycle. The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the
Sun and will not be visible in the night sky until daybreak, when it
will appear as a tiny little crescent. This is the best time of the
month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters
because there is no moonlight to interfere. The Moon is so powerful,
it is responsible for moving oceans, the ocean tides and for the
growth of plants, and we as humans are also affected by this powerful
energy. The meaning of a New Moon is the opportunity to start anew
and refresh your dreams and desires. Meditate in the quiet darkness
of the New Moon on all you hope to accomplish. As it’s also the day
after a major holiday for many, Christmas, today is a day for rest.
Set Your Intentions!
Both the Moon and Sun are in the same Zodiac sign during a New Moon… giving an exponential boost or concentration of their energy. During a Capricorn New Moon, you are happiest with a dream in the process since you are not likely to enjoy idle time. For whatever path you’re on, opening to working with planetary energies links you to the power of the Divine. The New Moon is an important time to analyze where you want to be, going forward. This particular Moon gives you the perfect opportunity to set your intentions for the month, to start anew with fresh goals in mind, and to have a ceremony or ritual that wipes the slate clean.
December 26, 2019 – New Moon in Capricorn – Wishes and Dreams Can Happen!
A Ritual for the New Moon:
For a powerful New Moon Ritual, start
by lighting the end of a sage wand and blow on it until there is a
smoldering glow. Use it around your own body, and in the space of
your ritual. Smudging brings clarity and peace.
Start a few days before the New Moon.
Write down all of your wishes, dreams,
intentions, and desires. Be as specific as you can.
On the night of the New Moon, read your
list aloud. You can go outside beneath the sky or you can light a
candle inside in offering.
Give thanks to the Universe for hearing
your truth.
A big part of success with new Moon
intentions is what comes after. Find ways to keep your wishes in the
front of your awareness.
Read your list as often as you can
until the night of the New Moon and then release the energy in sacred
fire of your candle.
Some people choose to journal their
list and keep it instead of burning it. Do the practice whichever way
you feel comfortable.
December 2019 Astrological Events – December brings a new vibration and a chance to bring closure and resolution to the year 2019. Under this energy, we are going to be encouraged to go with the flow and to attune ourselves to the rhythm of Mother Earth.

December 3 – Mercury (Scorpio) sextile Pluto (Capricorn). This joining shows us the cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunities in our life. It has a positive blending effect on the planets. Sextiles are considered “soft” or “easy” aspects that reflect the planets involved. Mercury rules the reasoning and conscious mind that forms conclusions. Mercury is intellectual, enjoys learning, teaches and is communicative. Pluto rules transformation through destruction, only to end up in reconstruction. This sextile will infuse each zodiac sign with the desire to surrender to whatever is happening in our lives, knowing that we don’t need to fight so hard for what is meant for us.
December 2019 Astrological Events -A Full Cold Moon in Capricorn!
December 12 – Full Moon in Capricorn. The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Cold Moon because this is the time of year when the cold winter air settles in and the nights become long and dark. This Moon has also been known as the Full Long Nights Moon and the Moon Before Yule. There will be a lot of emotional insight that will be happening in the next few days—get ready now. Embrace the power of the twins, as the Moon harnesses their power, with a Full Moon Meditation of self-love and acceptance.
Geminids Meteor Shower — Brings Hope!
December 13, 14 – Geminids Meteor Shower. The Geminids is the king of the meteor showers. It is considered by many to be the best shower in the heavens, producing up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by an asteroid known as 3200 Phaethon, which was discovered in 1982. The shower runs annually from December 7-17. It peaks this year on the night of the 13th and morning of the 14th. Unfortunately, the nearly Full Moon will block out many of the meteors this year, but the Geminids are so bright and numerous that it could still be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Gemini, but can appear anywhere in the sky. What better way to meditate on your place in the Universe than to actually spend an evening with the Universe? Prepare your heart for shooting stars, because the Geminid meteor shower will be all the hope you need for a bright future.
December 2019 Astrological Events – Venus enters Aquarius — Let You Be You!
December 20 – Venus enters Aquarius. Venus in Aquarius is anything but traditional. In Aquarius, the Goddess of Love is rebellious, eccentric, and open-minded with her desires, values, and relationships. When Venus is in Aquarius, we are naturally prone to detaching from our emotions, and instead surrounding ourselves with like-minded individuals, and intellectually-stimulating partners. Impromptu attractions, “friends with benefits,” and all forms of free love, are welcome. This is your chance to march to the beat of your own drum.
Ursids Meteor Shower — Our Connection with Mother Nature!
December 21, 22 – Ursids Meteor Shower.
The Ursids is a minor meteor shower producing about 5-10 meteors per
hour. It is produced by dust grains left behind by comet Tuttle,
which was first discovered in 1790. The shower runs annually from
December 17 – 25. It peaks this year on the the night of the 21st and
morning of the 22nd. The Waning Crescent Moon should not interfere
too much this year. Skies should still be dark enough for what could
be a good show. Best viewing will be just after midnight from a dark
location far away from city lights. Meteors will radiate from the
constellation Ursa Minor, but can appear anywhere in the sky.
Taking place just before the end of the year, this is your chance to
make a real wish for the year to come. Trust that the Universe is
laying down the groundwork for a major transformation. Be aware of
the innate connection we as human beings have with Mother Nature!
December Solstice, Winter Solstice — A Time of Acceptance!
December 22 – December Solstice, also
called the Winter Solstice. The South Pole of the earth will be
tilted toward the Sun, which will have reached its southernmost
position in the sky and will be directly over the Tropic of Capricorn
at 23.44 degrees south latitude. This is the first day of winter
(winter solstice) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of
summer (summer solstice) in the Southern Hemisphere. The December
(or Winter) Solstice helps us to understand that in life, we often
have to accept the darkness, whether it be darkness within ourselves,
friends, family or just the world in general. We have to accept it
but we always hold onto the hope that one way or another the light
will shine once again.
December 2019 Astrological Events – A New Moon of Powerful Energy!
December 26 – New Moon. The Moon will
located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be
visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to
observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because
there is no moonlight to interfere. The Moon is so powerful, it is
responsible for moving oceans, the ocean tides and for the growth of
plants, and we as humans are also affected by this powerful energy.
The meaning of a New Moon is the opportunity to start anew and
refresh your dreams and desires. Meditate in the quiet darkness of
the New Moon on all you hope to accomplish. As it’s also the day
after a major holiday for many, Christmas, today is a day for rest.
Annular Solar Eclipse — The Ring of Light!
December 26 – Annular Solar Eclipse.
An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far away from
the Earth to completely cover the Sun. This results in a ring of
light around the darkened Moon. The Sun’s corona is not visible
during an annular eclipse. The path of of the eclipse will begin in
Saudi Arabia and move east through southern India, northern Sri
Lanka, parts of the Indian Ocean, and Indonesia before ending in the
Pacific Ocean. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout most of
Asia and northern Australia. This Solar Eclipse provokes changes
that are more external, when events outside of us might get in the
way of what we want and the path we must take to get it. It forces
us to find a different route to our goals.
Moon and Venus Conjunction — A Time of Good Will for All!
December 29 – Moon and Venus
Conjunction. This conjunction is a good omen for your social life
and your love life. This conjunction manifests itself especially by
very deep and intense feelings, which are very long-lasting. Venus
rules our sentiments, what we value, and the pleasure we take in
life. Grace, charm, and beauty are all ruled by Venus. Through Venus,
we learn about our tastes, pleasures, artistic inclinations, and what
makes us happy. Transiting Moon Conjunct Venus brings peace and
harmony to your life. You will feel emotional, caring and loving.
Take advantage of all the good will that will come your way during
this conjunction.
Halloween is a holiday of many mysterious customs. Children roaming from door to door demanding treats can be traced to the Celtic period and the first few centuries of the Christian era, when it was thought that the souls of the dead were out and around, along with fairies, witches, and demons. Offerings of food and drink were left out to placate them.
History of the Jac-O’-Lantern!
The history of the Jack-o’-lantern began in the 18th century with Irish families. They began to put carved-out turnips and other vegetables in their windows, with a hot lump of coal inside to light it up, as a means of preventing a foul-mouthed drunk from the village, Stingy Jack, and other ghouls from entering their homes. Most had scary faces carved into them to frighten away any comers.
How the Pumpkin Came to Be!
Once the tradition hit the United States, Irish immigrants soon realized that the pumpkin, native to the states, was an ideal fruit for carving. When European settlers arrived in America, they found that our American pumpkin varieties were well suited to being carved as Jack’s lantern.
Halloween is a Celebration!
Our American pumpkin was found to be large in size, have upright strong walls, and a large hollow cavity… Just what they were looking for. This Halloween pumpkin is hollowed out and cut in order to create a grimacing face and is lit from the inside with a small candle, replacing the burning lump of coal. There was a movement in the late 1800’s to turn Halloween into a celebration emphasizing community and neighborhood activities and parties. This is the Halloween we celebrate today.
Mystery, Magic and Superstition!
Halloween is filled with mystery, magic and superstition. Halloween ghosts and goblins are often depicted as extremely fearsome and scary. But what about our dreams? The shadowy ghosts in our dreams represent those aspects that we fear. This is especially true if there are black cats in the dream, and if we avoid crossing paths with them as we fear that they will bring us bad luck. To dream of Halloween signifies death and the underworld. This usually doesn’t mean the death of a person, but a death of an idea or a plan. Seeing yourself walking through a graveyard on Halloween in a dream might mean that you are reminiscing about a dead loved one or that you are feeling lonely and isolated.
Halloween Dreams!
A Halloween dream also represents the adoption of a new persona where we feel less inhibited and more comfortable to freely express who we are. It is the end of constraint in who we thought we were and the beginning of a new freedom within ourselves. There are many different energies that make up our psyche and we must accept them all as valid parts of who we are.
Halloween is a Time of Excitement!
Halloween is the celebration of our imagination and willingness to suspend our belief and dance with our neighbors and friends. Halloween is one of the greatest holidays because almost everyone can participate in it. When it comes to donning Halloween gear, there’s a sense of community, of people who all just want to get dressed up in something silly or scary. It is a great time to use your imagination to don a costume that is unique and innovative. It’s our annual chance to live a fantastical existence. Whatever we want to be, we can put on a costume and be it. But for the most part, nothing beats seeing kids all dressed up and excited to go door to door in search of treats. There’s a crisp in the air and a feeling of happiness that peaks on Halloween. Idealistic maybe, but it’s why we will always love the day.

They will do whatever they can to steer you in the right direction. Sometimes, people who have never had an intuitive session or reading get nervous. In that case, a psychic reading from the comfort of your own home can help ease your nerves. Online psychic readings can be conducted anytime, anywhere, whenever you decide to get a reading.

It can bring the energy of the stone to you which may complement your prosperity, health, and other energies.
There is a common core personality type for each sign. Each of these Zodiac signs possess a unique set of personality traits. Astrology helps us learn who we are and gives us insight into the people in our life, so it is a good idea to get free horoscopes. It can give us more patience and compassion when dealing with others. Analyzing a person’s personality and seeing how it will affect our relationship with them is a great skill to have.

No one stands alone, for all people are part of shifting and dynamic relationships with other people, and each of these people is involved in shifting and dynamic relationships with the cycles of the cosmos. Astrology and the reading of free horoscopes, operates through deep symbolism and finds knowledge through the study of context. People often think they are acting out their own role, but through self-realization, they come to recognize that individuals are only conduits or channels of the Divine, and that through them the Universe is focused, according to the time and place of their actions.

Chinese Astrology deals with the celestial science of the five elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Metal, Wood,) Yin and Yang, Chi, and the cycles of time, and instead of using the sun, like traditional Western astrology, uses calculations based on the moon. The Ancient Chinese astrologers discovered the guide to self-understanding by using a twelve year cycle of personality differences, with each year representing an animal and its reputed attributes. We all have an animal sign, from the Resourceful Rat to the Prodigal Pig, according to the year of your birth. These Asiatic horoscopes are studied in the countries of the East as intense as those based on the monthly signs of the Zodiac are studied in the West.
All things have energy. It’s the way you send out vibrations, or awareness. As human beings, we radiate a very low level of electricity that’s otherwise known as an electromagnetic field. Vibrations are short for vibrational frequency, which is what an aura is comprised of.

In Native American cultures, which tracked the calendar by the Moons, December’s Full Moon is known as the Full Cold Moon. December is the month when winter truly begins in most of the Northern Hemisphere. Most of the ancient Full Moon names are related to the low temperatures and darkness of December. It is fittingly associated with the month when the winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark. This Full Moon is a reminder that our possibilities are endless, and that there are always opportunities waiting for us on the other side of the horizon. Always Remember: You hold the key to your success!
December 12, 2019 Full Cold Moon – Pink Light and Loving Kindness!
During a Full Moon, the Moon is 100% illuminated as seen from Earth and is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. The Moon will be visible throughout the night sky rising at sunset in the east and setting with the sunrise the next morning. The Moon appears full to the eye for two to three nights. However, astronomers regard the Moon as Full at a precisely defined instant — when the Moon is exactly 180 degrees opposite the Sun. Since you have this Full Moon power behind you, send healing energy, forgiveness, pink light and loving-kindness to friends, family, colleagues, and strangers. In addition, send peaceful energy to the places in the world experiencing strife, hardship, poverty and war.
December 12, 2019 Full Cold Moon – Reach out to Others at this Time!
In North America, this Moon is referred
to as the Full Cold Moon because it coincides with the winter
solstice. It is associated with the time in which days grow colder
and nights become much longer. The Full Moon will also share the sky
with the annual Ursid meteor shower. The Ursids are named after the
constellation Ursa Major, where they appear to originate. When it’s
cold outside, open your heart and home to friends and family. Reach
out to people who might be suffering from the chill of winter, either
spiritually or physically
Also Called the Strawberry Moon, Honey Moon and Rose Moon!
In the Southern Hemisphere, where it’s
summer during December, names for this Full Moon include Strawberry
Moon, Honey Moon and Rose Moon. This December Full Moon gives us the
perfect time to forgive and let go. Spend time visualizing forgiving
anyone whom you hold any resentment or grudges against. Go through
each person in turn and forgive and release the negative feelings.
December 12, 2019 Full Cold Moon – A Time to Heal and Relax!
The Long Night Moon gets its name because the Full Moon in December occurs near the Solstice, which has the longest night of the year. This is a time of rest. As the night is long and the days are short it becomes a time of self healing and rejuvenation. As mother Earth has tucked herself in, so should you. It is perfectly fine to allow yourself the time to heal and relax that is necessary for good health. Now is the perfect time for spiritual awareness — time to evaluate your life, and know that you’ll survive the dark times. It is the time to get rid of that excess baggage you’ve been toting around.
December 12, 2019 Full Cold Moon – The Moon Before Yule!
Europeans call the December Full Moon the Moon before Yule. Yule is an old northern European winter festival that is now associated with Christmas. This is a season of adaptation and change. In many magical traditions, and certainly owing to its proximity to Yule and Christmas, this is also a time of sharing one’s blessings with those less fortunate. Many customs created around Yule are identified with Christmas today.
Dried Yule Log
If you decorate your home with a Yule tree, holly or candles, you are following some of these old traditions. A dried Yule log, (usually made from a piece of wood saved from the previous year) is burned in the fire to symbolize the Newborn Sun/Son. Many displayed symbols of Yule are very prominent today. Some displayed are the original Yule Log, or small Yule Log with 3 candles, evergreen boughs or wreaths, holly, mistletoe hung in doorways, gold pillar candles, baskets of clove studded fruit, a simmering pot of wassail (also known as Hot Apple Cider), and bright red poinsettias.
December’s Full Cold Moon – Spiritual Meaning!
This Full Cold Moon of December is happening in the Zodiac sign of Gemini. Gemini is an Air sign and is symbolized by the twins and ruled by Mercury. As this Moon moves through Gemini, regardless of how we normally feel, we may be a little bit more scattered during this transition. Take quiet time for clear thinking. This is a Moon loaded with vibrations of change. It is worth keeping in mind that part of growing as a person requires you to accept that life is constantly changing. Embrace these changes as they will be positive ones. This is a fantastically-beautiful Full Moon. We are tempted to be spellbound by it. But we are also tempted to be wary, as sometimes things are not as they appear to be.
High Karma Quotient
The Full Cold Moon of December is special, as it has a high Karma quotient to it. Creating good Karma is as simple as trying your best to be a good person, and to treat others with kindness. This is also the time of year for wrapping up loose ends, finishing up a project, or turning inwards. Clear communication must be highlighted here in dealing with others. Examine the ways in which you communicate to others and make some positive changes. Put out your best effort and true self into the world, and the Universe will send you experiences and people to match your energy.
December 12, 2019 Full Cold Moon – It’s a Time for Hot Apple Cider!
Nothing beats a mug of hot apple cider on a cold winter’s day. In these more brisk months, there’s nothing better than wrapping your hands around a hot mug of apple cider. Just the fragrance is enough to lull anyone in from the cold and calm the senses for a while. Apple cider is perfect for gatherings with friends, family dinners, Christmas parties… pretty much anywhere where a large group of people plan on getting together. If you’re the one hosting the party, it makes your house smell like an old school cider house — better than any holiday candle can.
Instructions:
What we do: Grab an orange. Stick some cloves in it. Throw it in your Crock Pot along with a few cinnamon sticks and a gallon of apple cider. Turn it on. Wait four hours. Serve. *Option 1 – Thinly slice or chop up some McIntosh apples including the peel, into small pieces and drop a small bunch of the apple pieces into each cup of hot cider just before serving. This makes a wonderful addition to this recipe. *Option 2 – Add one and one-half cups of bourbon, whiskey or rum when ready to serve. (Adding it too soon will burn out the alcohol.) Also briskly whisk in a pat of butter right before serving. It gives the cider a rich, frothy top and smooths out the flavors. Makes about sixteen 8 oz. Drinks.

Spirituality of a Full Moon!
The Full Moon, with the exception of its Super Moon, is the most powerful night of each month for love relationships and especially for Soulmates. It is also a symbol of the spiritual aspects of femininity, such as intuition, psychic abilities, creativity and wisdom.
The Full Moon is a great time to Moon Bathe. Simply sit under the light of the Moon and meditate. As you breathe-in allow the Moon to warm your Heart and expand the beauty of the present moment. As you breathe-out let the light of the Moon transmute that which you wish to release. Enjoy the fresh air and gain perspective. Remember how tiny you are—how your small, significant life is connected to all others. Recite the words to that ancient lullaby: “I see the Moon and the Moon sees me, God bless the Moon and God bless me.”
It is also the perfect time to
experiment with psychic energy and spirituality. When you receive
Psychic or a Tarot oracle card reading on a Full Moon, you will find
you can understand things on a deeper level and more in-depth than
your usual reading. Soulmates energy is intensified and most
soulmates reunite or get back together during a Full Moon, more than
any other time.
The full moon is the lunar phase when the Moon is completely visible from Earth’s perspective.
